About Smass, SMS for masses
Smass application performs mass mailing by sms which could be called mass texting. In other words, Smass can send a customized message (SMS, text) to multiple recipients taken from your address book, writing it only once.
To do so, within the application, just insert a keyword from _name, _fname, _lname, which will be automatically replaced when sending the message by respectively the full name, first name, last name of selected contacts.
So you send a custom message to multiple contacts by writing it only once!
Ideal for "Happy New Year" greetings messages that you send to your friends, prospects, customers ...
Smass is localized in English and French.
example:
In Smass, I write the following message:
Hello _fname. I wish you a Happy New Year 2012:)
Then I press the Select contacts button and I select Tom Sawyer and Johnny Wilkinfon.
Then I return to application main screen and when I press the Send button, the application is responsible for sending two messages:
1/ Tom Sawyer: Hi Tom. I wish you a Happy New Year 2012:)
2/ Johnny Wilkinfon: Hi Johnny. I wish you a Happy New Year 2012:)
The application is available for all phones using Android 2.1 and later.
Each SMS sent is charged according to the contract you signed with your mobile operator.

Does not work. I send out to 20 ppl and it says 70 errors and it will not send. Have used it for a while and this just started happening. Great app when it works.

If you have multiple phone numbers for a contact, you can't pick which one you want to use. Removing an address from a message did not work for me. Also no draft support.

Most of your cellular are limited to send only 30 messages at ones! But with this app I send 500 like this holiday Mother's Days! You have to send to all contact!

I am a performer and I wanted to text the people on my phone list who's email I don't have to advertise my show. I typed my message and selected all the names and got my invite across. No problem for my purpose. Now I just need a mass delete option. Lol

I add my contacts, type my message and when I het send, I get a message that says error. Thats all, no explination of what the "error" is. Total crap. Not even a help file!

This is a great program. It allows me to do a lot of personal texts very fast from 1 message. What use to take 2 hours now takes me less than 10 mins

Application force closes when incoming calls received. You lose all your information and work

After typing in a message that was clearly in English, and should have been one or two messages length....it not only sent it in another language or format, but some never got msg, and it said sending 100 messages...when I only had 24 recipients. Uninstalled now.

It failed to send to more than 20 people at a time. Very glitchy, jumbled the sent message. I spent 40 minutes trying to send the message to everyone. Was not efficient at all.
