The staff team here at Burlish Park work extremely hard and very conscientiously to ensure that every single child achieves their full potential and has a very happy, safe and successful time in school. Our academic results are outstanding, significantly above County and National levels in all areas and as a school we are also very proud of all our County and National awards which celebrate and recognise all the other additional work that goes on in this school which contributes to making it outstanding. You can see them displayed at the top of this page. Burlish Park Primary feels it is very important for parents, pupils and staff to belong to a successful school that has its work recognised. It gives the whole community confidence in their local school. After all, success is infectious and the school is determined to continue to strive for excellence. Burlish Park Primary School is a reading school and we strongly encourage all of our parents to hear their children read at least three times every single week. We have many reading challenges and competitions to reward children for home reading because we believe that the best education is provided through a successful partnership between home and school. Almost 100% of our parents attend Parents’ Evenings to find out more about how they can support their child with learning at home and at school.
