San Diego Zoo

The Zoo is amazing, but the app was a little pointless. Yes they have a pdf version of the map, but it is the same one as on Google images and less helpful than the paper map they give you. They badly need an interactive map as they app with a current location GPS dot

This just needs to he an interactive map and it would be amazing. Also could use a simple design upgrade so it doesn't look like am iPhone app Fe 2007. Also drained my battery.

This app has promise, but.... Every time i tried something, it waited and waited and waited for that info to download. It should download daily information once upon opening. For example, the map should only download once. When it finally did, the gps seemed to work.

Love this app and zoo, me and my dad always look on the animal cams and looks at new videos and stuff, were in the UK and enjoy this app very much but wish you can see more of the animal cams like on the website. Would love to vist the also I for real :-)

Your missing a huge money maker!! If you have an interactive map, then you can track habits. People can also see more of the Zoo.. happier experience= better stories. I'd even pay a dollar for it

App doesn't do anything it is just pics of the animals no maps to plan a quick trip to see a few animals don't waist your time on this app

Overall the app is ok. I found the social media aspect of it annoying. The added info for the exhibits was nice. My biggest complaint is that the map isn't on the 1st page of selections. There needs to be better notification that there are other buttons. The slightly different color green dots at the bottom seamed to refer to the top picture not to the buttons at the bottom. Maybe put a menu button at top left? I finally saw that it had a map when I went to uninstall from the play store

Almost every time I opened the app, I got an error message. It was very slow to load. The paper map was more up to date than the one on the app. The app does not mention any exhibit closures for the new Asia exhibit being built, but the paper map does. That's pretty sad.

GPS location doesn't do anything, holds wake-lock, and total lack of usable navigation for the exhibits.

Please change the app permissions please.

Usefulness of the app is close to 0 for a general zoo guest (paper map is more comfortable to use). Plus eats battery dramatically, because GPS is on even when the app stays in background.

GARBAGE app! I tried using the map while at the zoo and it tells me that the map feature is not supported. WTF? That was the main reason why I installed the app in the first place and then it doesn't even work! What a piece of junk. Do yourself a favor and do not install this app until the map issue is fixed. Until then you might as well pick up one of the paper maps at the front gate.

What's the point in having the app if the map function is not supported

Never get any info at all. I've had it for months and it has never worked. Google Nexus 4.

Using a S4 on 4.4.2. Did not check out all types of animals but mammals only had a pic for guenons, that's it. Reptiles did not have any pics.

No pics for animals descriptions, although the media page seems to load fine. Love the panda cam!

Good for info on animals. Map isn't worth the battery killing. Turned 90° and can't seem to locate correctly. Doesn't do as much detail as paper map at park. I'm in Albert's restaurant as I'm putting review. So that shows real review

This app doesn't work. I recommend the excellent Pocket Zoo app to watch live cams instead.

When trying to open most features the app crashed. Map is almost unusable , no paths are marked and the location services makes it look like you are at a different point on the map.

Why won't it let me watch the live videos?

Keeps crashing - map is not very detailed

Asus Nexus 7 App was fantastic then no webcams, videos. Reported it repeatedly. Nothing happened. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still no good.
