KCRW Fringe Benefits

Historically I've found the mobile site easier to use but I'm going to give the app another shot since the map since to work a little better now. But why does the app need permissions for EVERYTHING?

Just keeps reverting back to home with every search for a participating provider.

Useless app that only exists for the developer to get user information.

It would be great if someone in the KCRW community could code and would volunteer to fix this..? It's ALMOST useful, but not. The issue is that functionality is so limited. Ok so you can bring up a map view; that's good, but you can't then tap the locations on the map to bring up the description. You can't bring up the map, and from there filter by category. You can favorite things, but your favorites list is just a list, is not sortable, and cannot be viewed on the map. Can be improved- keep the faith!

I GET an ERROR MESSAGE! Please FIX THIS!!!

I'm generally not the conspiracy theory type... But look at the permissions this app wants, including snooping on your Google linked accounts, can activate and use GPS at will, etc. you gotta wonder. Especially when your phone dies because the app uses 30% of your battery when not in use, even after a force stop and restart. No bueno.

This app is intuitively designed and logical to follow but it doesn't execute properly and therefore is nearly useless.

This app is so slow. Don't bother using the map to see what discounts are near you because that is a waste your time.

App doesn't open most of the time and causes phone to freeze.
