전통별미고추장

50여 년 동안 둥지를 틀고 살아온 제 고향 순창은 고추장과 장아찌로 이름난 곳입니다.
예로부터 옥천고을로 불렸던 순창은 섬진강 상류에 자리해 물이 맑고 맛이 좋기로 유명하지요.
순창은 또 고추장을 담기에 아주 좋은 기후를 지는 곳으로 널리 알려져 있습니다.
한 우물만 판 덕분에 고추장 제조 기능인으로 선정되기도 했고, 제가 만든 고추장이 전라북도 도지사가 선정해 준 고추장 최고 명품에 뽑히기도 했습니다.
덕분에 전국 각지에서 고추장을 맛 보기 위해 저희 집에 찾아온 분들을 그 동안 참으로 많이 만났습니다.
