Mobile Mouse Pro for Android
Update review... ITS NOT WORKING ANYMORE..... HELP!!!! GALAXY S7 not able to connect... server apprears but can click on it in app... HELP.... OLD REVIEW. like the app, it could use a lil TLC. The app switcher doesnt seem to work with Windows 8.1 64bit or maybe with the Samsung Tab 3 8 inch. Look forward to future updates.
Loved the app on the iPhone because it actually looked good! But now on the android, although it works, it just doesn't look good. It's not compatible with alternative keyboards such as swiftkey, which covers most of the tabs when it is selected. Please fix and make it up to date with the HD screens.
I loved this app on ios but my god does it suck droid. The only way I can ever get it to connect is when my fiancée connects with her iPhone and mine will suddenly work. Please fix the connection problems. I know it's not on my end as it works on ios devices no issues.
Been using this for awhile on my GS2 and it was great but since the update to JB now always says connecting even when it is connected. Slower and more jerky than it was before JB as well. Also does not format correctly on Nexus 7. Please add full JB support and tablet version.
Has a few bugs regarding the accelerometer. If I open a menu in landscape mode, open the settings, and go back to the mouse, the app will render the portrait version of the mouse instead of the landscape mode. Also, if I press the back button AT ALL, it closes out of the app. If I'm in settings, it should bring me back to the mouse. I should say that it does have the best mouse control of all of the applications that I have tried. It rarely connects to the server.
Used the app with iOS and its great. But the Android version simply does not work, can't even connect once. Tried support and they gave up answering me. Looks like i've lost my money...
Server crashes constantly. App tells me I'm unlicensed and won't run despite that I only just bought it. Wish I could give zero starts as it's utterly useless. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! .
Switched from iOS to Android (Galaxy Note 2). I use it on 2 computers but only the first one that I connected to stays in the Servers list. The other one requires me to input the IP address/port every time. More than a little frustrating. Please fix!
The demo version connects more reliably and the key buffer selection does not work. It has potential, but is nowhere near iphone mouse apps. Quite disappointed to tell you the truth. Now the vlc remote doesn't work...
Should have been updated months ago. Doesn't even work. Iphone app still works fine. Don't mind if a free app doesn't work but when I pay for a flawed app and it doesn't work you're basically stealing from me.
This App is a waste of money, it didn't work though the lite version did.. Also the server client doesn't work properly with Windows 8 with both versions. Do not buy until they fix these issues.
Absolutely terrible. Used to work great. One of the few apps I ever BOUGHT twice just to support their work. Works fine for iOS terrible for Android now. This wasn't the case always. Fix this app! It's been months and no update.
It's a complete waiste of money! After a loooong wait to connect (the iPhone version is a lot faster, and we know that hardware is not the fault) the keyboard, touch and gestures stop responding and then it crashes. Impossible to use! I have waited to any updates, but nothing comes and I will try to get my money back!
I used to use this app all the time on my iphone. I changed to an android phone 3 weeks ago and this app is a bit errrr useless, very hit and miss on connection, lots of features missing that i used on the ios version. Uninstalling and wanting arefund after less than 30 mins.
Couldn't detect server on both my PC (Work & Home). Lags a bit, Freezes in between, Automatically disconnects then reconnects, sometimes there are problems when typing passwords for emails. But good efforts by the devs. At least now I have a wireless mouse and keyboard. **Be careful with your next purchase**
I too based my expectations on the far greater iOS version, which I have to revert using when this gives me grief (always). The interface is poor, rarely registers screen input and only intermittently connects. The iOS version (even the free one) gets 5 stars.
Have used for years on iOS and found the so fantastic. Performance and updates are a terrible on the android version in comparison
Disconnects constantly. My iPad running the same app has no problem. The android version is pure trash.
Not updated any longer .... no service response ... free works better than paid .... beware.
I'm a little shocked that they are willing to make this app public, let alone charge money for it. It is nothing at all like the iOS version—it rarely connects on the first try and when it finally does connect, it is sluggish even on modern phones and very buggy.
I tried manual IP and port but it doesn't connect. Moto g 2014 KitKat 4.4.4. I lied. Sometimes it works. Mostly not. Mouse movements jerky compared to iOS version.
Bought this app for my iphone originally so i decided to get it for my galaxy s3 since it worked so well. I dont know if its all the latest updates but suddenly this app doesnt connect anymore. It works fine on my iphone but on my tablet this app is useless. You pay money for it so you expect it to work every time not just for a couple of weeks.
I used to have the iPhone version of this app. It works flawlessly there. On android however it sucks. The connection takes forever and the controls a lagy and typing is impossible. Avoid this at all cost.
The developers clearly don't care about Android users. This app is great on iOS, this is just not fair. Bought this app because I loved it on my iPhone. Made me waste my money here
Keeps telling me that this app isn't licensed, even though I've paid full price for it. WTF. uninstaling/reinstalling fixed it. Great app once it works.
I've been using this program for years, across a few different devices (all phones.) It has worked brilliantly on my older LG Optimus, my HTC G2, and now my Amaze 4G. Connects within 3 seconds most of the time, and works great. I've used it for Mac OS X and for Windows 7. Here's the thing: doesn't format the UI properly for all tablets. Read info and reviews before you purchase. It's that simple. Great app, even if it does need refining here and there.
I have used quite a few Android apps for MCE in the past, and this was one of the top rated. Its terrible. The controls don't make any sense. I couldn't figure out how to scroll up and down lists with Media Center. This should be simple and straightforward. The navigation buttons during playback don't do the correct functions. Play and pause are about the only things that work right. Big disappointment.
Very good and easy to set up. Have found it to be reliable so far.
Used mobile mouse on IOS with good results but the app looks on android as if they spent no time making it work. The app opens with the keyboard covering all controls and no connection and no way to clearly find settings... terrible first impression and 0 functionality. Want my money back.
Great work guys!! Awesome app!! Great look!! Money well spent
Does not connect to server but my iPad has no problem. Settings menu does not show up on android device so I can not manually configure server settings either. Galaxy s6 edge +
Browsing folders on the phone and power point controls don't seem to work at all. There icons aren't even present. Nether dose the synced clipboard. The air mouse mouse for better or worse seemed to only use the gyroscopes not the accelerometers. As it seemed to only work using roll and pitch. The Key Buffer needs to be on for swyp and text to speech to work and the Proximity Sensor setting doesn't seem to do anything. Can't enter a password into the windows lock screen. Win+L doesn't work.
The app has some great customization features that other wifi mouse apps don't, but alas it disconnects a lot, even when I shut off the 4G and solely connect through the wifi that my computer is on.
Gets worst every update.. coding is flawed. Could be great but needs some attention. Tablet layout, fix non working features and get that searching circle out of the way once connected. Still, you can control the mouse with it, most of the time. But don't waste your money.
I loved this app on ios but my god does it suck droid. The only way I can ever get it to connect is when my fiancée connects with her iPhone and mine will suddenly work. Please fix the connection problems. I know it's not on my end as it works on ios devices no issues.
For a way to control your PC mouse pointer from your droid, Mobile Mouse works pretty well, though the scroll wheel function is WAY too sensitive. However, if you're aiming to control Windows Media Center, which it allegedly has the functionality for, get ready to be disappointed. Finding the control screens is non-intuitive, and many of its buttons don't have any use in WMC while others that do often aren't labeled and are located in places that don't make sense. It's simply too painful to bother using. It ultimately takes far less time to find your dedicated remote. Unless they fix the Media Center control interface, DON'T BUY Mobile Mouse Pro. If you just want a way to turn your droid into a WiFi mouse, there are cheaper alternatives.
I use the iOS version all the time and I love it. I hope to replace my iPod completely with my Droid, and this app is one more step. I know the devs have made a good product before and I expect to see quality improvements in the interface and connection issues. Until then, it's nearly unusable. Try the free version until they improve the full one. Whenever that will be. It's been over a year since the last update. Crossing my fingers.
don't waste your $. this app works well on iCrap only. nothing functions as it does on iCrap. they say tjey offer support for the pro version, they don't. this app should be rempved from the store as it is a con. I have sent them 5 emails with no response. I would avoid this app like the plague.
I used this app for many years on iOS. It was by far my favorite. They must have outsourced the android version, or have just lost all drive to make quality products after they made it for iphone, because this android version bites. Constantly disconnects, interface looks terrible, it lost a lot of functionality that was there in the iphone version, and overall is a very poor app. Do not buy.

I really like the Pro version, but on my Nexus 7, when I use the media control panel to control Windows Media Center, the skip-forward and back buttons are so small and so close the the play/pause button that I am always hitting the pause button by accident. I'd like to see a less graphically pleasing layout if that's what it takes to make it easier to use. The way it is now, I have to use a stylus in order to avoid hitting the pause/play button when I try to skip forward or back.
