Id probably give this five stars but the fact you don't cater for lenovo tablets is inexcusable. It's hardly an obscure make is it?. I use the app regular on my fire stick and have no problems with it but can't use it on my tablet. I don't think 5 actually read any of these so probably a waste of my time.

You are lucky I gave you a one star...in my opinion one is too much! It never played any programme that I have tried to watch, after the adverts have played a box comes up on screen saying " this programme is currently unavailable, please try again later", I have now given up and uninstalled this pathetic app from my phone, my iPad and my chrome book!!! Not impressed...

Shocking! Any time I need to pause it and my device goes into standby instead of keeping my place this decides to play it from the beginning. Channel 5 really need to talk to Channel 4 to find out how it's properly done. I also like how it used to have 5 stars for the old version. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.

In app Chromecast does not work from pixel or iphone6. Used android screen cast instead. Advert breaks are very frequent, and poorly executed between those imposed by the demand service and those in the content. Didn't appreciate creating yet another account (2 infact) usernames, passwords and personal details for one use service... What do I benefit from having this account?

Rubbish. 'we can't cast this content due to rights restrictions' what a load of bull. Android allows you to cast the screen so what's the difference apart from poor quality? Sort your legal crap out before trying to offer a service which your competitors are seem to do without issue.

Only good to watch adverts. It doesn't remember where you finished. Every time you try to find where you left off will just replay the same adverts over and over again. Just paused program to put kettle on. Came back after 2 minutes and the adverts were playing again and then it started playing from the BEGINNING! Just gave up. Pointless.

Love this app, but there's just too many adverts. Would not be so bad if they appeared only at scheduled breaks, however they appear of you pause or accidentally close the app. The fact it's the same adverts constantly replayed is mind numbing. This is costing me money by using my data package for irrelevant crap. PLEASE REMEDY THIS!!!!

I never write reviews but this has just angered me. It made me watch two minutes of adverts, then froze with 6 seconds left. I loaded it again. Two more minutes of adverts and then froze with 6 seconds to go. Wasted that period of my life, uninstalled due to overwhelming incompetence. Well done guys, top work!

Having to endure the adverts at the begining, which I put my tablet to one side and ignore for the duration, is a pain, anyone advertising there is going to be hated by viewers, so lose/lose situation. When actually watching, the screen keeps freezing, no function to swipe to rewind or fast forward. Screenshotting is blocked - why??????????? When people can dvd or vhs the whole programme from their tv. Does not seem to be a search function to quickly get to an old programme. MORONIC APP.

Plays adverts fine... then when the show finally does start it pops up a huge error message stating 'whoops! This program isn't currently available' whist the program is clearly still playing behind the big dumb error message! Does the exact same thing on my smart tv aswell!

Really good now that I got it to play! I don't even think the ads are a problem...you get those when you watch tv anyway. But it is annoying that it doesn't remember where you got to. I had a phone call during a programme and had to start from the beginning. Apart from That, I think it's a really good app

Constantly crashes when watching celebrity big brother. Especially on adverts. Then you have to go back into the show and watch the advert at the beginning again. Then fast forward to 25 mins into the show and watch adverts again where it crashes again. And back to the beginning. Constant annoying circle. The app should at least remember you got to 25 mins into the show when it crashed. So when you go back into it you only have one set of adverts to re watch.

Ads work fine but programme freezes periodically or screen goes blank with just audio in the background. When pausing it does not bring you back to paused place if you close screen ie. to check a text message, instead you are forced to watch all the ads again and there are already a ridiculous amount of ads. If you enjoy watching ads and aren't too bothered that you don't get to watch the program itself then get this app and register with my5.

1.Description shows that of another programme 2. EP 2 of Rookie Blues shows pic of Cbb characters 3. Too many hours before you can watch catch up 4. The app suddenly doesn't recognise Chicago fire which is on its 3rd EP? Loads more too many to mention

Got better. But got new galaxy a3 phone and won't play any programs. Juat get "error occurred please try later." NOT a connectivity issue as I can get them on Google nexus. But still nothing doing for my lenova tablet. 1 out of 3 is bad.....

Performs well over WiFi on my Moto G. It is a little bloated compared to the other UK TV network offerings available. If the code was optimised a little more I'd 5STAR it (pun intended)

This app has a high quality picture but as other reviewers have said you can't resume from where you last were. If somebody calls you during watching the app closes when attempting to resume. A major fault that needs to be remedied soon!

Ads, or a blank screen run for ages before programme starts, pausing it makes it stall, ad breaks make it stall and it won't restart. Then have to start again and same thing happens...great if you only ever want the first 10mins of any show.

Well wanted to watch Emerald City here in the UK from a UK phone to a UK TV with Chromecast, doesn't allow it. Try the same app on a a smart TV and says the episode is not available to view but it's listed. Obviously something to do with rights.. But it sucks

When pause a show, it doesnt pick up where you left off. You have to keep watching the same ads just trying to find your place. Deleting this app.

App works fine, great quality streaming, but why oh why do the adverts break in to the middle of a sentence when someone is talking??? You have retained the ad-break lead in and lead out headers, but the ads are not placed there. What is the point?? Stupid feature that can ruin whatever you are watching.

This is a great achievement so technically well done; but having used it for years, every updated version is less fun. The ads on this version appear even if the pause button is pressed. It was usable once but uninstalling it now.

Dreadful. Went through sign up nonsense, tried to watch programme, not allowed on Chromecast. Tried another, success as allowed on Chromecast, alas it just refused to play. Waste of time, heed the reviews people, it's not worth the sign up. You won't get to watch anything.

I cant even check a text message without this app forcing me to watch another 90 seconds of ads. App crashes. Forced to watch ads again. It could be great but....interrupt this review to bring you another ad you have already seen 50 times.

Chromecast support finally arrived, so now we can actually watch catch up programmes on something with a large screen and not limited by battery life

Five has lots of good content. The player is awful. Unable to resume playback without 115 seconds of ads despite being in the middle of the programme, really don't like the playback on the app... Take a leaf from 4od... Overall shocking player!!! So many bugs... only 2 starts because of content!

Just as bad as the website. Such promise... looks good but fails mid show. If you are a tv producer etc... sell the rights to other channels /platforms that work cos channel 5 clearly are not bothered. Just look at the reviews. People watch in 21st century on catch up. i dont mind adverts as long as show actually plays without errors!!!!

The playing of programs always crashing with error 100 or whatever but the look and navigation is mint. If videos played I'd give it 5 stars

Absolutely crap, advert after advert after advert. I was watching a 55min show and by the time I'd got to 15-20min of it id all ready watched 3 sets of ads, and there not individual ads there's 3 or 4 ads everytime. I've decided I'd rather slit my wrists than use this app again I have deleted it and will never use again, unless they do something about reducing the amount of ads and letting me enjoy a programme I want to watch

It's lacking a lot lately..Can't get to watch a film without it freezing.. and when you want to continue where you left of (after reseting everything) It doesn't resume..after ndura still continues to lack A lot needs to be done on this app... Bloody fix this!

Get proper technicians, I've u installed it, it's rubbish. Like others have said. To many adverts. Also always goes back to the beginning. Also wonders why no person who made this app as replied to any of your questions? To funny haha..just to add another thing, why the hell can I watch big brother 12 am one night, then the next episode is still not on at 3.41am the next day? Pathetic. ..doesn't hold my breath for a response from yourself as you never reply

It's a good app but whenever I switch my phone off it continues playing and you can't watch it from when you left off. It is so frustrating! Even when you press the button that shows you all the pages that you have on your cannot continue to play again.The program continue but the screen does not move. One last thing the NO-AD button does not work.

Tried to watch Tuesday episode of Law and order Special victims unit, and amount of ads and this stopping, ads and then repeat the start again this is Crap! I hate this, and it's irritating. No sort it out! No ads whatsoever, people want to catch up! Wake up 5, people want no nonsense apps. Not shitey apps that crash their Tablets! Sort this before S5 of Wentworth starts, we UK Wentworth fans were well pissed off last year!

Adverts play very regularly and if screen locks forced me to restart show (and rewatch all the ads). Also kept crashing (I'm using a Samsung S6) which also forced to rewatch ads and didn't have a "continue watching" feature like other on demand apps so finding where you are up to when it does crash was a pain.

A catch up TV app which is 'incompatible' with my MX3 TV Box! Priceless or what!? 2* because it works on my phone... would have been 3 but won't cast reliably :-( Check out the apps for the other channels and see how to get it done properly.

Very poor app, loads of bugs. Playback is jumpy, freezes regularly despite good WiFi connection, or the audio will play but the picture will be frozen. If you pause a show and your phone screen locks, the program audio will start playing again from the beginning whilst the phone is locked, and then the whole app will crash when you unlock your phone. Many programs appear with warning messages that they are unavailable when you select them to watch.

It works fine on my android phone. As for adverts there was some at the beginning before Emerald City started and again about a third the way in, these were about as long as they would be watching on tv, then two very short ones later on. Altogether less ads than would be seen when watching it on tv. I feel the negative comments about the amount of ads to be unfair.

I am fed up of tabbing out or putting my key lock on only for the app to start the program from the start and bombard me with ads. Other iplayers don't have this issue.

The first 3 things I watched worked fine, with no adverts either! But after that whatever I try to watch it plays 3 seconds then goes back to the 'my5' screen and says "you have finished watching...." NOT IMPRESSED!
