Water Time Pro: drink reminder, water diet tracker for Android
I'm the kind of person who snoozes their alarm 10,000 times before getting up in the morning and because of how often this app reminds me to drink water I actually do it. I personally think it's a great app, and if you could compete against friends daily to see who can drink the most water that'd be neat.
Very cute interface, and easier to adjust the volume of a drink than many others I've checked out. Cons: - never got the notifications to work (and yes, tripled checked all the device and app settings). The next reminder time would show up on the bottom corner, but it would never actually give any notification. (Did not have this issue with other drink reminder apps). - the more major flaw (as I realize the above might be a compatability issue with particular phones): the way it calculates caffeinated beverages. Yes, caffeine does have some diuretic effect, but not to nearly the degree this app treats it. (Even for "low effect" of caffeine, it only counts 10% of the drink as hydration, which is not at all what the science says!) I ended up going with a different app that has a more accurate calculation for tea/coffee.
I think the water blop is an accurate representation on how important consuming h20 is. When you don't drink water the little guy is sad and looks tired but drinking water makes it happy! I love the reminders. It helps a lot...it's like no pop...water! It's simple but needed!
This is a great way to get in the habit of keeping up with your hydration! Setting the first alarm for when I wake up was a small action that has helped my energy and productivity levels. Plus, I hate to see the little guy sad and dehydrated.
I don't really think about water. I do think about adorable creatures, however, and that I love them and want them to be happy. "Where's the water, my droplet is distressed" is becoming a common refrain. I would give this app 5 stars, except some of the ads play sounds, and that can be very startlingdisruptive.
I'm really terrible at drinking enough I can go a whole day without any fluids at all this app has been amazing I've been using it for around 2 weeks now and I've got or nearly but my target Every day! I feel so much better and have so much more energy! The reminders are perfectly timed and who can say no to that cute little bubble!!
This is very good although I get constant notifications, sometimes going off every ten minutes. Checked all settings and it is nothing there. The only other problem is that it needs a wider variety of drinks. I never drink tea or coffee and I hardly drink water on its own but I drink other things. These are the only problems. It is very good.
The app works great however, it stops notifying since a couple of months ago. Didn't change any of the settings and have tried reinstalling it but notification still doesn't work. Kind of disappointed.
I hate drinking water so this holds me accountable. I'm a nurse so know the importance of water. U can aliveate tons of diseases by making sure u drink at least 64oz daily. More if working out. I see it everyday
This is amazing it has really helped me to drink enough water. The only reason its not 5 stars is because when you don't have enough it doesn't tell you to have more or say that the amount you had isn't enough. Still a great app.
This app is very helpful! I love water but I barely drink any during the day because I forget. It is very helpful that it sends out reminders to drink water. I also love the little water droplet character! It's so cute and motivates me to drink more.
Reminds me enough but not annoying. It really does help remind me to drink water. Something I'm not really good at doing.
This app is great at reminding me to drink water and they make it really easy by calculating the water intake for you. I like the little water blob he's pretty cute.
Learning about hydration with water and dehydration with coffee & tea ect, motivated me make positive and informed decisions to swap my bad drinking habits for good ones. Sometimes your brain makes you feel hungry when you're infact dehydrated. As a direct result of Water Time Pro, I have been able to eat less and lose weight. Having the reminder of my own personal water Dango. Is like having a water spirit adressing me directly to give my body what it needs. ????
Cute water drop, and great to see just how little I drink! Helps me try to drink more. Love that it is difficult courage after a bad day. Wish it would have 'soup' as an option. Thinking of putting this app on my child's phone.
Amazing. I always forget to drink water and seeing the little dude dehydrated makes me disappointed in myself. Hes like a little pet I take care of when I take care of myself:)
Love the app it helps remind me to drink more and be hydrated only reason it's not 5 stars is because it always goes off every hour I wish you can set how often it goes off. Like every 3 hours would be nice.
Very easy to use. It's surprising how easily we forget to drink water, and this does the trick beautifully! I appreciate that it considers other drinks, and yes, soda does not count. ???? I love that it encourages you to do better if you weren't able to meet the goal. ❤
I would suggest that you should add the option for soda, fizzy and energy drinks too.becz they are also (-hydro) so we could know how much extra water we need to drink.
I don't like, that tea is automatically caffeinated and that you can't vhange it or add a new drink and set the parameters. I drink a lot of herbal tea, like 1.5 l a day, and if I want it to count, I have to be clicking water.
Love the messages it leaves, rather than just a regular reminder. The dehydrated water creature(?) is actually an adorable incentive.
Really helps me drink water! Whether from my phone dinging or just knowing that that little water drop is on my home screen!
Need to have a graph or chart that records daily, weekly, monthly fluid intake. I would like to be able to show it to a physician. Thank you!
It seems good for now, but I feel like there should be on option for caffeine free teas such as rooibos, and herbal I don't think that they should get lumped in with their caffeinated counterparts, because they aren't the same. I don't know how to mark them either, because I don't want to get dinged with the caffeine penalty when my tea was naturally caffeine free.
This adorable little app is free despite the name! It helps me stay 100% hydrated. I choose two hour intervals for reminders, and there's shut off time you can set while sleeping. I recommend buying the cheap little widget pack, it has an easy to use button for your home screen AND gets rid of ads. I tell everyone I know about this app. ????
Helps me remember when to drink water all throughout the day. Just super important to keep phone nearby to hear it go off. Cheers.
A simple, helpful app. I like that you can pay if you want, but it does not bug you or bombard with adds. Friendly, cute, and it does seem to help if you listen to it.
The droplet always gets me to be hydrated because 1. It is so kawaii 2. It is not overwhelming , simple and functional 3. Reminders are very subtle , I've kept 'bicycle bell' which is rather pleasing compared to other message tones
I LOVE IT! It's so great at reminding me when to drink water :) I've never felt better!
Measuring your daily water intake is very important during a diet. I needed a simple app for this tracking. Water Tine does this job with ease and brief interactions. The interface is also very user-friendly so a thumbs up for that too.
I used to have an alarm set ever hour but this is so cute that I want to drink more to keep it smiling!! As for adverts, I I don't find them too intrusive. Overall I totally love this ap
I noticed that even if I submit drinking water within the hour, it still reminds me to drink more at the hour mark. I would expect it to factor it in to the recommendations.
Very useful, and you can control it to whatever your needs are! The cute characters just top it off it with a juicy cherry, this is exactly what I was looking for to keep my body happy and healthy with the water it needs.
The drop is SO sweet that it makes you keep your daily goal just for it ????. The app is user friendly and the most useful of the kind I've tried. Definitely I'll stay with it! E Just excellent!
Would have rated five stars if you didnt have to pay to use the widget and other features. It does help me drink more water though
This app really helps me to remember to drink more water. It doesn't count coffee and tea the same which really helps me to pick better drinks to stay hydrated.
The app is easy to use and the timely reminders are helpful for your mind to build habits that listen to the body. I love how it monitors overrall consumption and encourages you to do better than the day before.
Really simple app, but perfect for keeping on track. Have kept on target every day since using it. At the touch of an icon, daily recommended intake increases to take into account a workout day. Love it.
the app needs to improve their interaction with the user. sometimes it doesnt notify and sometimes it will. but this is a good app!

Great app but would like option if you drink de-caffinated tea or fruit tea's which are de-caffinated too. Or do I add these as a simple mug of water?? This little app has made me drink more water and love the reminder every hour. I chose my reminder noise to be a water sounding tone which is perfect. I also love the the fact you can set up your waking and sleeping time. I now drink at least 250 mls per hour which I never did before.
