MathPac+ Graphing Calculator for Android
Last time I reviewed this app was in 2015. At the time I was very impressed by it. Since then I have purchased many calculators from the PlayStore some were duds, some excellent and at the same time cheaper than this calculator. The reason that I am updating my review is the awkward user interface which reminds me of an old DOS menu system! Lack of any customizability is always a bugger. The format of the numeric output can stand improvement as well. What is GREAT about this package is its graphing capability, but even there things look somewhat dated compared to some of the other calculators. The developer does update the app which is appreciated, but until the UI is updated and there is a setting for customizability, I'll use other calculators.
Response failure
I contacted the developer because of a bug I found and I even sent a screen shot and he didn't answer
One of the most advanced and powerful calculator applications on the playstore that was always slightly hindered by its UI. One of the only applications I found that allowed for regressions from data input by the user in a table (plot points and derive formula). Very excited for the redesign and thanks for always responding!
Thx for the quick fix! Awsome :)

Works like advertising.

Awesome add..but the graph in my phone doesnt show the highlighted green area under the graph.can you tell me how can i make mine looks like whats shown in the screenshots?
Superior to other apps I have used. I have recommended this app to my HS math students so they don't need to buy a another graphing calculator.

One of the few I've ever found with regressions!!
I bought this app back when it was $15, switched phones and now I needed it again. Yay, the price went down greatly, but the app is even better! Thanks Singh!

When I try to graph the stats inputted it shuts down to the input screen. It seems like a great program but I can't use it. I have a Note 4. Please fix it
Good for every student.
You guys update this all the time. Awesome, simply awesome calculator and worth every penny
Love the amount of things you can do with this. Who needs a TI calculator, when you can have this instead!
The best so far.
I was impressed by wide functionality of the app, I thought that there are no app that have all the functionality I need, but it exists :-) And it works fine both at smartphone and at Acer Iconia Tab A500, that is helpful for collaboration
On Acer Iconia Tab A500, installing this app causes Acer content folders to force close on launch, every time. Can't imagine why this is happening, but uninstalling Mathpac fixes the problem. So I have a $20 app that I can't use unless I'm willing to lose Acer content folders. Reported this bug to the developer over a month ago, and response was quick and courteous, but I still can't use my $20 app. seems like a good app otherwise. Update: Long since replaced my tablet and phone. App works well now. Probably has worked well for everyone except A500 owners, but I only recently re-installed the app.
My preferred calculator is the TI-89 Titanium, so I have rather high expectations. While it doesn't have 3D graphs or the ability to do just about any of the functions from the main calculator (if you know the correct shorthand for it), it's adequately robust enough that I can still do any of my classwork in my upper college level maths even if I forget my TI-89 or the batteries had died. (The catalyst for me downloading the app) I'm glad I bought it.
Very useful app, has a lot of information, it's going to help a lot in my trig class.
Excellent. I would like some additional functions such as working with differential equations and showing derivative equations rather than a value.
This app is amazing!
Nice application for the most common elementary cases but has no flexibility. It calculates and plots the regression line but I could not find a way to calculate and plot the residuals. Statistics Calculator does the same limited regression for free.
It seems that other people like this app but dont get to excited. I do not like the TI89 because it has to many buttons with no organization. This is too organized. For the basic calculator there is no way of typing in the derivative. But do not let that alarm you it has many other features but many will be useless to what you want them for. The UI isn't all that good. Im going to stick with mymathlab calculator app for now
This program is very powerful, but the graphics needs a lot of work. Sometimes the butron got cut of, so its really hard to press it. But overall its a good program.
Like you dev
This extensive graphing calculator is the most beautifully laid out, comprehensive and useful math and statistics program in the Android market. Like a truly fine wine, it is worth every penny. Smooth as silk and highly recommended!
Excellent app
Good app. I am happy to use it. Question/Suggestion to programmer: natural input would be good update.
Working
《v11.1》 Good app for me who's been using a Casio since high school. The lists for regression and statistics doesn't have an export / save function (but it can import). I'd like it better if it can export lists, better (clearer) interface concerning its functions, and if it has a computer algebra system
Very annoying that app fails to work when an update is available. Would like the ability to input "+-infinity" as a bound for relevant probability distributions. Otherwise it's good.
UPDATE 2: If you are trying to decide between this and Math Studio, let me save you the trouble: THIS is the one to. FAR more useful by a long shot! UPDATE: Starting with the last update the app began working again. When it works, it is the best calculator app out there; I have tried over 10 of them. To the seller: I have the receipt for both purchases and 2 emails from you. So, I better be "licensed." OLD: I have paid for this app twice. From Amazon & Google: it stopped working both times after a while.
I haven't used most of the the functions yet, but the calculator function doesn't keep track of small numbers (e.g. 1.602*10^-19 = 0) well. Edit: nevermind that seems to be totally fixed in the most up to date version!
Thank you for updating this!
Easily the best app for math and statistics. And so cheap ;-)

Current version won't launch when update comes out. This is obnoxious. If I want to run an older version that's my own dann business. Don't need some paternal developer forcing me to update.
