Toddler Video Player Lock

I like that I can set a movie up for my 14 month old son and he can't touch in the movie to exit. However, he can still use the power button and for whatever reason this is not a full screen player. The clock and bottom controls are still accessible so he can exit the movie easily. If this was full screen and could keep him from turning it off via power button, it would be the perfect app.

Have used this for years and still love it!

Thought this was a good App but my son can still exit videos & touch other things & I can't stand the home key function it totally messed up my phone (S5) UNINSTALLED !!! needs work

Could not get it to work on converted Nook Color Tablet running JB 4. Locked up system almost every time, having to hard power it down. Will try to get refund. :(

I loved the idea of this app, but consistently both of my some (2 and 1) were able to exit the app and get into various other apps. Also the requirement to select my regular launcher or Toddler Lock for every app (even ones that are unrelated to the app) is annoying. Selecting either for "always" caused problems w/ various apps.

Purchased this so my 1 year old could watch some videos on our flight. Unfortunately, this player wouldn't play any of them even though my phone could. I ended up finding MX player which played the videos and had a child lock all for free!

Great job - this is exactly what we wanted. Super simple playlist and lock mode work great!

My 14 month old son loves to watch movies but also loves to press the back button. This app is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I never pay for apps but I am so glad I paid for this one.

Love this app... though I second the request for folder browsing and selection. Easier to maintain playlists. 5 stars if that added!

Just what I was looking for. My daughter likes to carry the phone around and watch videos. But she would always stop the video. This totally prevents that.

Nice idea but my child can still exit the app via holding the home button or switch screen button on the nexus. They can also still turn the device off via the power button.

This app really, really sucks. You can't decide which movies show up in this app and they don't show thumbnail screen shots for each movie so, since a toddler can't read, they have no way of choosing the movie they want to watch. I do not recommend this app at all; I wish I could rate it zero stars.

Works wonderfully. Well worth the 99 cents to not have to worry about my little one having a fit because she pressed something to turn the video off.

but now all my videos keep disappearing from the app and there's no way to rescan for your videos. I now have an app that will play other videos that I don't want my child to see. I will be searching elsewhere for an app that can do what I need.

Good

It does what it says on my Epic 4G. It does not exit completely the 1st time out sometimes. Would love to see an option to scan a specific folder instead of all videos - as a pediatrician and parent, would love to keep some videos separate/outside this program for simplicity's sake. Otherwise great app.

Sometimes when I reboot my phone it stays Black for a long time then sometimes if i'm lucky it brings up the which app do you want to use for home scr

This saves us all those international calls our toddler has been making.

Holding home button opens task manager, effectively giving full access to system. Rendering this app useless. don't waste your money here :(

Used it on honeycomb device with our 14 month old on a 5 hour flight and is fantastic. Only minor quibble is that some of the status bar icons are still accessible, so you need to watch those little fingers

Great. If you delete a video it doesn't Seem to refresh just gets stuck on that vid . Would be good to select folder and rescan. On open.

Perfect for my disabled son. Locks all soft and hard keys except power & long press home. Only wish it showed thumbnails.

A must have if you have kids!
