This app is perfect for you if you would like to consume your favorite news sources (not restricted to an our selection) in situations where you cannot use your hands and eyes to interact with the Smartphone (ex: while driving in a traffic jam).

It will read the news. I've only had it read weird breaks once so far. It needs a playlist feature so that you can add stories you want and have them read back.

No better out there. Don't know why not million have already downloaded this. I USE IVONA/KENDRA FOR realist voice engine and it's free. The pro version crashes after reading the first paragraph.

At first I thought this was just another news reader (like the world doesn't have enough of those...), but I gave it a shot and I must say I'm impressed with the text-to-speech and most of all the voice commands. This combination lets me listen to the news and control the app without touching or even looking at my tablet, which is really awesome :) There are still a few bugs to polish off, but I'll certainly follow this app to see if more cool features are added.

Won't recognize (grayed out) OPML to import. Built-in gallery of sources predominantly "fake news" - no Fox News, Washington Times. Adding Fox News manually via search facility delivers headlines only. WSJ articles require subscription, but saw no means to enter login info. Attempts to add and refresh Google Feed search terms returns no results. Bought Pro then refunded. Not updated in nearly a year.
