Longman Dictionary of English

That's a kind of fraud! on Android it doesn't work even as a free dictionary by an unknown publisher and it has the title of longman Pearson! 9000 english word covered and it couldn't be found common phrasal verbs for instance "pass up" , invivable. If you can't support the Android version turn back the money.

A majesctic dictionary! Unfortunately, I waited for almost one year to make this purchase. I had been put off by hard-harted and hateful comments by fellow users and now I regret I hadn't purchased it early. Guys, it simply works just fine. Yeah, it takes exactly 6 min to have it installed and running, but apart from that it runs smoothly. Shame on you evil detractors and unfairly bummed out users!

I like the Longman Dictionary online so..I have bought this app for Android (6.1) mobile device one plus however it is not supporting at all. Suggetion 1- I suggest that please free trail option then people decide if it fits their devices they buy. Suggetion 2- Please upgrade the dictionary version according to Android version.

l got it working on 2 tablets (l have a larger one and a smaller one) and not yet on my cell phone. As mentioned by some reviewers it seemed to hang on expanding content. First of all you need about 2GB of free space or else seems to fail. Even so ( with plenty of space ) it seemed to unpack forever. I don't even know how long it took because in both cases I left the devices unattended fore a good period of time before returning to a successful installation. I gave 5 stars because the content is good, but I shouldn't have , because the install is unheard of cumbersome.

It was working well before latest updates but now it stops. It keeps saying unable to locate media files and exits. I've contacted your support team months ago but nothing changed since then.

It crashes 9.9 out of 10 times I run it. The app should have as "word of the day" the many synonyms for "crash". It's overpriced for what's being delivered. The truth is: it's the best content in the worst app.

Return my money, the app isn't working! World's best dictionary is in the hands of world's worst developer. Use some common sense, hire a good developer. Such pathetic app! What you people are doing is absolutely unethical! Your App isn't worth even any crap!

This app has nice user appearance and also have a great look and feel. But it make me feel disappointed as it runs slowly while searching a word. :( Please debug this app !!! And make it faster to search !!!

It was perfect at the beginning but it's getting worse with every update. Now I can't even open it. I wish I could recommend it to my students but I can't. Especially not for this price since now it's essentially useless!

Can't understand Pearson at all! The Longman Dictionary software for Windows is almost perfect! Why this App is completely the opposite? Poor text, rare updates, bad interface...

The app does not start. It shows "Extracting Media Files" message and stays like that indefinitely.

I downloaded lt on my new phone, but it freezed at the ''extracting media files'' step.Please help.Thank you.

I installed and uninstalled four times. At five times, it works well. Hope all to enjoy for reputations of longman ditionary, for developer please inform users how to install encountering problems and pleasedebugg them as soon as possible.

It's crashing always. Headache to use... And they never reply for feedbacks

I've bought this app as I knew it's one of the best but shockingly it doesn't work with my Samsung galaxy S8+.

It's not working after the last update, please fix it!

Doesn't work after the latest upgrade! I like very much the content of Longman dictionary. It is one of my favourite. But I could not installed the latest version of this apps on my smartphone Sony Z3. It is not loaded at all. This problem must be solved as soon as possible, otherwise the opinion of this great directory will be fully spoiled!

After the recent update, I can't even start the app. It just shows the first screen of welcome message and stays there. The app says it's extracting the media files but it never ends. Please fix this

It used to crash a lot in the past, especially when I try to use the core vocabulary feature. Thanks for the update, though I have expected it to come earlier. Those who find the newly updated version tricky, I suggest that you may try to reinstall your app. It works great now. I desperately need the core vcabulary feature, so in the past I almost couldn't use it. Thanks for the exellent improvement and great help that it has brought to ESLs!

I used long man in its iPhone version and it was amazing, but after download it to my note 5, it does not work at all , it considers as one of the best content dictionaries with worst app that is full of crushes and does not even start as in my case. The app needs to be reformed or just refund it.

It was automatically updated and since then I can not even open the app. This problem must be fixed ASAP!!

For unknown reason, I couldn't even access this app in the first place. Every time when I ran the app, It stayed at the first page with a notification indicating the extraction of media process for hours.

Extremely slow in comparison with market leaders (OALD); very cumbersome interface regarding MENU (e.g. having to scroll all the way down to phrasal verbs); the integrated COLLOCATIONS & THESAURUS `dictionary` (???) is just basic and quite insubstantial; where is the unique Longman Activator? no full-text search function (the OALD knew better!); the text in the so-called `integrated` COLLOCATIONS & THESAURUS is not tappable (= you can’t tap a word in that section to get to the dictionary entry for that word). Hardly useful as an app overall, despite the quality content. My 2 stars are for the app. The content deserves 5 stars, even if it's incomplete in comparison with its PC counterpart. But what can you do with great content in an app like this???

The app stopped working within the last week. This is a great dictionary but it used to crash a lot and now it does not even start.

After all the installations, when I try to open, it stops at the welcome page and displaying the following message: YOU CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME THESE SETTINGS. I couldn't use it any time.

It's asking me to allow the permission to install the software, but once I go to the settings, there was nothing to enable
