My Data Manager - Data Usage

My Network (Smart Communications Inc. Philippines) has a crazy expensive data plan, but the 4G network is crazy fast anywhere I go too. I sometimes forget that my Mobile Data is on, so I tend to use up all of my data allocation which is 30GB per cycle. I love how it automatically divides the allowance to give me 1GB a month and monitor it. I wish that you would just add a widget mainly focusing on the daily usage though. But overall, a great app!

Latest update still has not fixed my issue of all data used by my Mobile Hotspot/tethering being DOUBLED, making it look like I've used way more data. It has 2 App entries for my Mobile Hotspot app on my LG G3 for some reason, and thus counts the data use twice. Please fix this soon, it's very inconvenient and makes this app useless for me until it's fixed. :(

Latest update still incorrectly reports data used by OS on my S6 running marshmallow.... drastic difference between what my provider says I've used and what this app reports. Will leave it alone for a while since it worked well in the past but if the issue isn't fixed soon I will be dropping it like a hot potato.

I have used this app for a month now and its data usage report match perfectly those of my provider. It's perfect! The only thing I'd like to be able to do is to show the usage in kilobytes instead of megabytes. Apart from that little wish, I would not change a thing.

I got a problem using the same with WiFi Hotspot in my mobile.. It shows increased data usage when lower days is consumed.. I get like 200-300mb per day increased for about 1 gb used..

Privacy policy?! Are you kidding me? Voluntarily give you my personally identifiable information so you can share it with your business partners? OMG. This app is a security concern and frankly is quite ugly on high DPI devices.

I thought this app was working perfectly, but recently I noticed a discrepancy between the various reporting tools I use. Android's built in tool shows the closest value to the operator's. Another app was some 70MB short, while this app was 125MB over the actual usage. I used teathering, to share internet with a friend, and it's as if that usage was counted twice. I adjusted the app to reflect the operator's info, and now I guess I'll hope for the best.

Been using the app on a handful of devices over some years, love the persistent notification to easily track live usage. Easily the only app you'd need. All bugs fixed

Utter garbage. App can not remember day to day data and alarms do not go off when needed... Making this app worthless.

Fantastic in all aspects. Loving the hidden status bar notification especially. EDIT: would be nice if you could transfer data between devices (e.g. when getting a new phone). Also won't back up on Helium.....

The app always reports erroneous data after my phone is restarted. The data usage for that day will be vastly overinflated (100+x more than the data actually used). Data reported by this app has been verified erroneous by verifying with my service provider as well as the Android built-in data usage tracker.

Was looking for a tool to help me and my girlfriend stay within our shared data plan, she's on an apple and I'm on an android and this app worked great!

Cannot move around app since last update. Can now only access history and not move to Summary etc. Seems that as functionality is 'improved' the useability worsens.

It used to show my proper data usage up until recently, it doesnt show anything else but a 0.1 usage and no other apps even if i used data.

Very good. Using the app from 4 months and now after update it is working flawlessly. An option to change the colours of the usage level bars will be wonderful. I'll give 5 stars then.

Helps keep track of data usage, sometimes have to fix what it has reported but it's not that far off from what Total Wireless says if it does get off.

your app is really great.it would be even more helpful if you add a pause button that stops the monitoring when we dont want.for ex..when we change our network provider for some time(like for some hrs)to use internet of other provider.plz..

Latest update for the app broke the app for me, it's showing either the play store or my tethering a random amount and telling me I'm over the limit when it is completely wrong. I have to keep manually adjusting it when this happens and sometimes a few times on the same day!

The few last updates present inaccurate info. It claims I have used close to 7 gb when I have used only barely 3gb.

Nice app. Very useful. Monitoring data usage correctly. But recently reading does not show on widget. Need to open app to check readings. Redmi Note 4. Thanks

Constantly saying my operating system has used gigs of data. When I check with AT&T far less usage.

This is 1000% Better app to manage all your data, it also keep Data Plans according to the information you provide to it. And it also provide information about all your app which are using any amount of data. It's just Superb app for your Data Management. I ♥ it.

Have not been able to figure out the beta version which can gauge the data usage of 2 phones...

It doesn't show proper data usage if it's not running in background. To monitor usage it has to be running all the time.

Let's me know if I'm using more data per day than my plan allots and how much data I'll use in total if my usage level stays the same. Exactly what I need.

Moronic to show data used instead of data REMAINING on widget. Which do we care about?!

We need also shared roaming plan. Then the app will be perfect! For example: monthly 4gb (shared for two devices) and 1gb can be spend in roaming.

It reads the data. But it's wrong and doesn't count the USB Tethering data.

Please add a feature where you can choose what the notification bar usage displays e.g GB or MB because I'd rather it display the usage in MB, but there's no option to do that at the moment.

IT IS NOT SHOWING PROPER USAGE. I HAVE NOT REINSTALLED IT YET.

Lots of data manages out there but this one doesn't bug you, just works in the background and notifies you EXACTLY as you defined in the settings. What a concept. Excellent.

Perfect. It let's you exclude apps as well as I get unlimited music streaming so need exclude Google Music!!

Shows not correct amount of data!!! And updates not helped!!!! Uninstall.
