Network IP / Subnet Calculator for Android
Not what I was looking for to study for my CCNA however still a great app to have around as an network engineer.
A bit ugly with font wrapping around though.
I miss a Manual, or a Website, a FAQ page, light or dark theme doesn't impress, I want to know, how the App works, and to post an App on Facebook, that's what I hate, and what I've seen, is POOR! One or two Comments of People, who don't know, what, how.. Too bad organized from the Beginning!! I have installed another App of this kind, UNINSTALLING this, and looking further..
You could atleast give 2 weeks or a month from when the app was installed to let the user try it out first..NOT POPPING UP RATE MESSAGES THE SECOND HE/SHE downloads it
Does all that you'd need when you are looking for quick subnet calculation. Requires no permissions, so it's perfect
As someone who just completed first year in a course heavy with subnetting, this app was a great tool for me to use alongside my class material in order to learn.
Poorly designed. You have yo change screens to enter a dot. Does not mark the network or broadcast addresses.
Once you edit the keyboard settings to make it easier to enter numbers AND decimal points without having to hit "symbol", it's great. Thanks!
Work more to develop the app with visible calculations. And auto dot after IP entering section, also keypad dot is available if needed user. It's a very helpful app but develop needed more.
It would be nice if you could enter in address without have you hit symbol key to enter period between octets...otherwise works well.
Helping me a lot while confirming my subnetting calculations, Would be great if it shows broadcasts address as well :) giving 5 stars.
K 5 be cuz u won't stop bothering me. Other reason is that it doesn't look cheapy. Otherwise, i have no clue what it does. Where is the app that u push one button that prevents connection from dropping every 2 min ? WHERE ? Tell me now !! Is it here ? I'll give it 22 stars. TWENTY F'n TWO ok? IF It's here. UT oh, this one of those posts , or in this case a comment i make , then 2 months later for 1 reason or another i see it and In a shameful panic i rush to delete it ? Much to my dismay the damage is done. I then delete yet ANOTHER perfectly fine screenname . Never to be seen or heard from again. UNTIL IT'S 29 DAYS AND THE ADDERALL SCRIPT IS READY AGAIN FOR PICKUP !! And the beat goes on...... duh dee dum, duh duh dum
I like the app. Helps me with a few IP address issues I had.
Does what you expect with no problems or distractions. Thanks!
Takes all the work of networking and makes everything simplified. Perfect for beginners or advanced CNT's. Would be better with an ipv6 calculator built in.
I'll give it five stars if you could add a table of addresses given that there are corresponding parameters
Toggling back and forth to enter the . Is sort of lame.
IP subnets are a confusing topic to begin with. If you don't know what your doing, this app will really mess you up. But if your fairly good with subnetting, this is really cool. In summary, this is a tech toy.
It never crashes or hangs. It properly calculates the subnets as needed. I am not bombarded with ads but honestly who doesn't have an ad blocker these days (only jackasses). If you need a subnet calculator, this is all you will need. The sexist part about this app is that it doesn't need any extra permissions.
Straightforward app Works great, excellent tool to help me with my studies. Those complaning they don't know how to use the app needs to go and read up on how to subnet and what it is. You should know how to atleast figure broadcast and network from the range...
The address range does not include the subnet or broadcast addresses. However this app includes both. The app does not display the subnet or broadcast addresses, this is not a good app for students.
As of 2016-July, this app doesn't require any permissions which is PROPER for its purpose. Beware of apps that require obnoxious rights on YOUR device.
Very Useful APP. Only one remaining, data input keyboard is not very practical, for input point in line it's necessary change layer by clicking button for special characters input.
I needed something to quickly supernet a number of ranges, and this baby did the trick! I have a branch office that someone put C2690X switches in--they only allow 16 static routes! So I had to really cut down the routing table. Great app.
It has all conversions, useful to those who can't convert bits to IP notation like I do...
Title text wrapped on my Samsung Galaxy S5. Why not just use a slightly smaller font?
Very useful tool. Needs a little cleaner way to enter ip addr, though.
Saves so much time not having to work this stuff out manually.
It worked well for me. It did exactly what I wanted it to do. Thanks a bunch!
But text headings wrap after CIDR on my Samsung S5
You can learn how to clean the kitchen sink of IP addresses with this.
In your day to day activities when you deal with networking. The very thin amount of permissions must be also noted.
Sufficient and more...
I would like to see what's its trimming so that I can manually delete the stuff that was put onbthre by a hacker
CIDR input... probably uses a default number pad in Android. This puts the decimal point on a different screen than the digits, requiring you to flip at least 3 times if you put in a full IP range. Also, titles in option boxen at top of screen don't fit so they line-break oddly. Finally, the summary at the bottom might be better if it included: total usable addresses, network address, broadcast address, etc.
...but could be better. Having the slider as the only method to select the CIDR mask is cumbersome when you large fingers.
Easy to use and fast way to subnet your network no ads great work from the developer
Simple, useful and user friendly.
Rotating screen would help with small devices.

Gave it 3 stars cuz it good would have given it 5 if it didnt keep asking me to rate it before exiting. Re-edit had to change my rating to 1 star it always ask you to rate it before exiting how annoying.
