About Apocrypha KJV
Published in 1611, the King James Version was the first English translation of note and is widely popular with traditionalists. The Apocrypha ('hidden things') were not officially accepted as part of the Bible when the Hebrew 'canon' was set. They did, however, form part of the Greek Scriptures and came into English Bibles by that route. The writings of the Apocrypha run the whole gamut of literary genres: histories, romances, devotional works, proverbs and sermons. Many complement parts of the Old Testament and readers will recognize some familiar Biblical characters in the narratives, such as Daniel and Esther.

When I first bought this app it was perfect. You could good straight to the book you needed and it was very organized. Now you have to scroll through a mountain of individual verses and unmarked chapters. Of it isn't broke don't fix it.

I purchased this app and after a few version updates later, they said the newer versions are incompatible with my device and they would not let me install this. At least let me have the last version that works. I paid for this app. They are cheats! What a rip off! But then you'd expect these bible people to be cheats anyway. Give me a version that works or my money back.

The new tiled update sucks, very hard to navigate, one verse at a time, can't higlight or make notes, at least with the images you could tap certain books and search verses, now you have to scroll down to find books, no title with numbered chapters. Very time consuming, uninstalling this app, $ down the drain!

What a useless app, normal scriptures would list books chronologically or alphabetically, whoever designed this app took leave of senses and decided to make navigation almost impossible by complicating things, this is a worthless app, uninstalling.

I love the book of wisdom. the book of tobit is a favorite. I would like to see improvement by allowing notes,highlight, bookmarks, option to change background color and change font color. I am rating 5 stars but it would be better with updated app. I am looking for book of Adam and Eve parts 1 and 2.

I expected much more. PRO: All the apcroyphal books, chapters and verses are there, including the Wisdom of (Jesus)Sirach/Ecclesiaticus. CONS: Strike 1: Cannot highlight or copy test from passages. Strike 2: No word search or concordance. Strike 3: FALSELY ILLUSTRATED DEPICTIONS OF BIBLICAL CHARACTERS. YOUR OUT! Hope a developer in the near future puts more effort and truth into an Apocrypha app, but until then...... REFUND.
