Very unprofessional! I don't know who is posting about the news but there is a whole lot of misspelled words. I am just saying! I thought they would proof read before posting. To say the least, it doesn't look good on Lex18. Never updates in a timely manner. When you click on one story it takes you to a total different story. SMH!

Overall a pretty good app but I get notifications and when I click on it you never see the story from the notification. Therefore you have part of the headline but have to guess the rest of it. This has been the case forma couple of years and still no resolution. I uninstalled the app for a year or so and when I put it back on, same problem.

The breaking news notification function is completely useless. As others have stated, you receive a notification which amounts to a partial headline. When you click on the link to (presumably) read the rest of it, it takes you to the homepage, where the breaking news is nowhere to be seen. Terrible oversight that needs to be corrected.

Everytime I get a notification and tap on it, I always have to search for what I tapped on. Sometimes never finding it. Please fix. Otherwise great app.

If i click on the notification sent to my phone it does not open that story but takes me to the main page. As a result I am not using this app that much anymore

Great before last update. Now full page ads and livestream won't work.

I reinstalled this app because I missed my local news, but I wasn't​ looking forward to using it - the version I got rid of over a year ago was poorly organized, poorly edited, rarely updated, & in the end not worth my time. I was so, so pleasantly surprised by the changes that have been made! It constantly updates with well-written articles which are laid out in a sensible format! I absolutely love it!

Previous versions ok. This version horrid. Lots of ads and videos. Little in way of rapid news in text format. Useless. Someone should be fired over this mess.

News alerts are worthless. They come about 10 or 15 minutes before you can actually see the story. By that time I don't care. Fix it!

If you guy's can't build a better app than this. You should give up. No one wants to watch a 30 second ad video just to watch a 2 min news article. Same news stories repeat in every section. Ridiculous. Everyday I see something wrong on this app. Who ever is running this app. Should be fired.

This used to be a great app, but now you get random FULL PAGE ads that must be manually closed to see the weather you came for. No. Thanks. You can keep it.

Nice app but had to uninstalled because it would not allow me to op-out of numerous news messages to support their ads.

The new updated app and layout are just terrible. The same news stories appear over and over. This use to be my go-to app for local news coverage. Now I've switched to the WKYT app. It's a shame. Why are the summer olympics stories still showing up in the feed, THREE WEEKS AFTER THE GAMES ENDED? Come on Lex 18! You can do better than this! Switch it back to the old app!

Don't like the new layout. You get the same local stories in two, three, four categories.. Newest update still sucks get it right, same story in three sections, I guess that's there way of covering news and pretending to have a lot of content... Keep up the bad work. More than a week after Olympics are over they are still previewing games that shows story updated 27 minutes earlier lol so how can you trust their new reports

Repetitive listings, hard to follow. Dropping it and replacing it with another local station app. Too bad, before the upgrade it was the best app for KY news.

Since the update the app has been horrible, today is the 24th and there is still articles about the Olympics say updated 16min ago those are over am now deleting the app since you don't want to fix the bugs

A story only needs to be in the news once, not in every category. Too hard to follow. Don't use it anymore.

Dislike the news videos. Would prefer to read and watch as an option.

Repeating stories, mostly old rather then current, and who wants to know what the weather will be YESTERDAY? The old app at least kept you informed. What's with the drop in battery life? Why does it ask me if I want to exit? If I don't, no more charge after 1-2 hours.

The new format is terrible. The stories repeat several times. Then you have to chose yes to exit the app. I am thinking of deleting and going with another Lexington news app.

Please go back to previous format and layout. It takes too long to load and is difficult to navigate!!

This was a long awaited update. Thanks alot LEX18. I will re-installing this back.

Fix the notifications. I have disabled notifications, but still receive them. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not help. Enabling and then Disabling notifications does not help. People noting the issue in their reviews for the past few months has not helped.

Turned off notifications but i keep getting them. So annoying! Still after months of my first review. Im still receiving notifications when turned off! UNINSTALLED
