Save MMS attachments : backup

need to reset my phone and NOTHING would back up my messages with the attachments. This did all 2600+ within 20 minutes. Thanks!

This app is great! Did exactly what I needed and have been looking for for some time. I'm horrible at saving attachments to texts that I may need later or want to file. Helped me keep pics of my new neice that I definitely wanted to move to my new device. Thanks for such a great, user friendly app!

I have the pro version and this app and it is doing just what I had hoped for. Nice that I no longer have to worry about saving off pictures that are texted to me.

Tried this app on my LG Nexus 5P running Android 7.1.1 and it works as advertised. I have a few small quibbles, one regarding the date/timestamp of the saved attachment , and the other regarding the issue of the app re-scanning all attachments regardless of whether they have been scanned/downloaded in previous runs. I communicated with the developer and he was very responsive, indicating that the issue with long-running scans was under consideration and would most likely be fixed in an update. The issue with date/timestamps is a little more thorny and there doesn't seem to be a satisfactory solution. However, it should be pointed out that this issue goes away after the first scan/download, as subsequent downloads will have different dates - in line with the date received and downloaded. Seems sufficient.

Literal garbage lol.. doesnt save anywhere and it asks for too many permissions

Used this thinking it would save to my sd card like it says in the description. It doesn't. I learned this the hard way when my phone got stuck in a bootloop. The attachments save to device storage and you can't change location unless you pay money. pointless app. Important data lost. Thanks for nothing.

This app does not let you choose which message thread to save. I have thousands of mms msgs with attachments. This app runs for 10 min, then says I have none. Samsung S5, Android 6.0.1

Can't save to External SD Card. Only option is internal when you try to navigate out of internal, I get operation not allowed message. Galaxy s7 edge. 1/17 /17 this is still not fixed. I emailed dev and he responded only 2x, he updated app and still operation not allowed and no access to External SD. 0 stars. I still don't have the option to save to External SD Card. Dev please fix this and use method other apps access external SD, galaxy s7 edge on Marshmallow 6.0.1 Edit 1.23.17 Dev has asked me to beta test app to see if I could have option to save to External then dev said update to latest app on store. I'm very angry because the Galaxy s7 edge is one of the most popular android phones and he has yet to fix this yet inferior apps are able to let u choose external SD. come on dev, Eric Dore has the same issue. fix it use the STORAGE ACCESS FRAMEWORK which gives you the option of picking the External SD

I paid for the option to save to SD it says "this operation is not allowed" when attempting to dance it says it completed but doesn't save to a or phone storage. Wish I had not paid. Because this was the whole reason I needed the app. And yes I did use your current version

Awesome app. Able to save all attachments in a couple of minutes. Only downfall I have issues with is that you can't create your own folder name to save to. You have to save to an existing folder. Would be awesome if you could name the folder rather than trying to remember where you saved them on the SD Card. Otherwise, the app works great, does what it says it will do, quickly and easily. Love it! Had to buy to use all the features, but it's cheap, like 99 cents, it's a steal!

I really like this app. After 3.5 years and 850+ mms pictures, I got a new phone. I've tried 7 or 8 other apps before finding this one and I am very pleased with the results. It came right up with a thumbnail view of all the mms photos I have received in a single roll format, no messing around with who sent them. I was able to save all of them to a folder (SaveMMS) on my phone with a single button tap. There seems to be a small bug where the Save Button keeps spinning, but the photos are saved, so it doesn't seem to be a functional issue. Thank you for the app!

You want to save your pictures on the internal storage, says it saved, but actually does nothing when set to external (not getting write permission from the system)

Simple. Does what it claims. Interface can be a bit odd. It says "fetching attachments" in grey with no background, not noticable at first. Also, paid for Pro, but ads still exist :-(

Great app! It saved all my MMS attached photos to a directory very quickly. Then I was able to back them all up to the cloud with Google Photos. Any new photo attachments are set up to save this way too, and I think it should all work automatically.

Apparently saves the message somewhere but unless you buy it, you can't do anything with the image... I couldn't figure out how. Ads are annoying. Buy the other one, not this one. It's deceptive.

Great app

Does not let me select or save to SD card as the description clearly mentions. I could not browse or even manually enter the path. Also, once I select "Smart File Naming", none of my attaments were found. I cleared data/cache many times. It would find the attachments as long as long as I did not select the file naming option. I tried to prevent permissions, select the smart naming option, and then allow it access to scan but it still failed. GARBAGE.

This app does exactly what is says it does. When it first opens you will see a black screen, but just wait. It is searching for all the attachments. When it is done a screen will pop up with all of them. You can just simply select and save. It's awesome and easy. Thank you!

This app works great. It's only missing one thing. When the app saves a picture, then you decide to delete it from the gallery, the app saves it again on the next save cycle. I wish the app would remember it saved it once and not keep saving. Great app and love it!

Saved EVERYTHING when I accidentally clicked the only button in the app. Now i have to go through the "Save MMS" directory and delete all the memes, screenshots, and inappropriate garbage people have sent me over the years. All I wanted to do was browse all attachments and save the important ones so i could safely delete my SMS data and free up space. ugh That said, it did do what it claims to. Through sheer brute force.

Have issue after getting new phone not saving automatically. Had a small issue turned out being operator error. Tech support was fantastic and helped figure out what was wrong. Thanks to you all.

Backed up all my media messages and restored my phone to new. Only saves the pictures/attachments but if I'm concerned about dialog I generally screenshot it anyhow. Saved me the worry of not knowing if I ever misplaced a picture of my 2 year old daughter. Thanks

Hi Tur, App works great, but I can't seem to get it working with my SD card. Everything is being saved locally. Also, any chance at preserving Sender / Date combination? When backing up many years worth of data having a consistent and logical naming scheme would be really useful. Sorry if I'm missing the logic. Definitely worth the $0.99

This app works flawlessly to backup your MMS photos to a folder on the device. It's a simple interface with out confusion that just gets the job done reliably.

I had been looking for quite some time for an app to save ALL my MMS images at once, and this was able to handle over 2000 images in just over 13 minutes. To be able to save all new MMS automatically is a huge plus. As an aside, I did not receive the upgraded version in exchange for this review as the creator indicates you can do, I purchased it, and then gave a unbiased review ;)

This delivers the functionally it promises. I like the additive feature of it keeping track of files previously saved and only downloading the new files. If it can save to the external SD as a future enhancement, that would be great.
