iClicker Reef (REEF Polling) for Android
Garbage. Remote is hard to use since it is counterintuitive. Why can't I just power on and press an answer? My remote keeps shutting off before I can put an answer. I'm only using this because I am forced to. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone
Garbage. I try to connect class but it always take the classroom across the University and I can't sign in. Such a garbage app.
Doesn't even load the image on the clicker, thank goodness the teacher shows the question on the board as well...
Works quite well for me but the IT Dept seen to have some problems getting it working
Expensive, but worth the learning experience.
Super fun way to handle questions and classwork. Easy to use as well. Overall a good app.
It works most of the time and is very simple.
Good
Much better than using a remote. Updates in less than a second when using class wi-fi, and much more intuitive to this first time user. Would absolutely recommend 5/5. I mean, using any iClicker system in general is annoying, but using this app only gives a 1/5 annoying stars :)
It's really convenient and I've never had an issue with the system. Super easy to use and the design is sleek.
I like it, it's a very useful tool and is definitely helping my grades!
Too sick!
Simple and clean interface. Very nice
The app works really well.
Useful, easy to use, and well coded.
Easy to use, nice interface.
Convenient and Intuitive U.I.
Fun times in class
Useful
Many times within the same class period I miss questions because I have to wait for this app to connect to my course. I was in the middle of a class period and my trial period was up which caused me to miss several questions that were for course credit. Overall a terrible app that should never be used for legitimate education.
It is an amazing in class tool and it saved me a lot of money instead of having to buy an ickicker. It has some difficulties connecting to wifi sometimes but other than that it is perfect!
My professor refuses to allow the use of REEF in class. Since I cannot afford to buy a physical iClicker, I'll likely fail the class. Thank you for thoroughly screwing me over.
Love the app, great alternative to paying the $50 for an actual iClicker. My only issue is that a $20 sub only lasts 6 months, so I'm gonna be without an iClicker for about half a month in my second term.
Doesn't work, at least not consistently. Especially bad for teachers who rely on this technology because with a failure rate of ~10% (~30 students with problems in a class of 300), my professor consistently uses after class time to diagnose problems rather than answering questions on the material. Not to mention a remote costs as much as a textbook nowadays. Reef (iClicker) does not deliver a functioning product. An insult to teachers and students.
This app definitely has its benefits and disadvantages. It is indeed, much cheaper, than buying an iclicker 2. The main downside is that it is not completely compatible with the iclicker software. In order to use REEF in class, the professor has to set up a separate program. One of my professors has no idea how to use REEF on his end and this leads to a lot of complications for the students. Another professor was not using it but after talking to him, we set up the programming. I only give this app 4 stars because it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying an iclicker. Also, it occasionally has connectivity issues that will not allow it to connect to the internet. This can usually be worked out by reconnecting to the WiFi and restarting the app.
Works pretty good ... a bit pricey but at least you have options for length of time. Better than the clicker I used last semester
Seems to work okay. It is better than buying and carrying around the remote but still another forced purchase for a class.
This app has one of the best UI and the review feature is also an excellent study tool. I wish my University had started employing this clicker tool earlier!
Works perfectly in my Bio 211 course. Makes life much easier, now I have to carry one less thing
Badly done and designed! Crashes a whole lot.
Free trial ended and cannot pay to renew no matter which plan I select. Error message simply shows, "Unable to complete transaction" without further explanation.
Until now, I've been using reef like it is a clicker. I haven't had any problems
Works for me and its less expensive than buying one of those confusing iclicker devices.
Very useful in class, app always works without issues
Clicker questions in my physics class are the only thing I look forward to in life
Easy to navigate. I like how everything is displayed.
I like the ease of use. It's nice.
Easy to take attendence for one class rather than spending 60$ at my uni bookstore to buy a clicker.
Very cheap and effective. It's convenient for the whole class and the professor.

Pretty cool, but problems. Some people can't sign in, and others have been able to get attendance points from across town. Neat little app, needs work and professors need some instruction on how to use it.
