Tennis Serve-O-Meter

There is a bug when dragging the tennis ball to mark the ball landing in the service box, it doesnt move right or left. This happens about every other time. Also it is annoying that the video reverts back to the begining position after marking the contact point, it should be easy to make the video resume at the point after i mark the contact point, so i can mark the ball landing point. Most of my videos are of multiple serves so it is really annoying to fast forward and find the serve in a long file.

I am really curious what is the frame rate of the video it gets the time from, would be nice if it could get it faster like 50 fps or something because for example I can t get exactly the frame when the ball bounces, one frame before it didn t make contact yet and one after already it bounced a little . Maybe you could use also the audio to find the frames ?

Very good, even thou it's not 100% accurate but it's good enough

I used this app on the same video 5 different times, each time taking a good amout of time to make sure I paused at the right times and I got five different answers ranging from 60 to 97 miles per hour FOR THE SAME SERVE.

Now I can calculate how fast I serve ..cool !!!

The instructions say pause at rckt contact point put some details in then pause at bounce I am confused

Could be improved by allowing zoom to contact and bounce position. Should allow incremental selection of contact between frames. It's very unlikely the bounce or contact will be exactly on the selected frame, but you can easily tell if it is about 50% or 75% of the way through the frame before or after. There is an excellent app on itunes called ServeSpeed that has a very similar functionality, but allows you to zoom in on the serve and choose increments between frames. These functions make it very accurate. I had an iphone, so I bought that app, but now my phone is android so I can't use it. Please just copy the ServeSpeed itunes app and I will pay $50 for it. It was accurate to 1% if you took the time to zoom in and fine tune the contact positions between frames.

I was looking for an app that calculates serve speed for a long time, there are many apps available in the play store but non of them are accurate and scientific. This app gave a result which is as good as from a 500$ speed gun. The UI is simple n very pleasing and feature to share result is awesome . Great job
