MMGuardian Parental Control App For Kids Phone

Love it. This app is exactly what I was looking for. I monitor my child based on her age and ability to control her phone usage. When she struggles, the monitoring increases, when she improves it decreases. While all these children are whining and rating the app poorly, just know that you are the ones in control.. if you demonstrate maturity and responsibilty, freedom is free. Otherwise.. as an adult you might be caged (jail) when you act irrisponsibly. As a child, you are monitored accordingly. Be honest with your parents and show them how smart you are! Be responsible and make good choices. That'll help filter down the monitoring. We do it, because we care. Not to ruin your social life.

I took away my daughters safari and camera usage and it worked then i tried giving usage back and it stoped working so she can not take pictures or use internet and on top of that i fot logged out and i cant get back on it

I've had a great experience with this app and with the customer service people when I emailed with a problem. I was pleasantly surprised with the prompt and helpful replies.

This app is child abuse and everyone who runs it deserves to get their bottom jaw ripped off

This app messes up all phone settings of your phone. Dont download.

It is nice app. I read every review. I didn't found any wrong in web filter system. But some issue is in time management. Some time it over ride and make it jam. it is good app for web filter and not for screen lock and time management

I downloaded this for my child thinking that it would properly protect him. However, I find that from his phone to my phone, nothing works. Half the time the phone doesn't even lock when it's time to go to bed, but when it does he easily finds a way to glitch around it. It'll restrict certain apps, but not others. The app also sends strange "admin messages" with a whole ton of numbers. I don't recommend getting this app for your child. Use a different app.

It's over the top why do we need it anyway. It's rude and lane to have an app like this. I can't text my friends without my mom looking at them. It's such a lame app. It makes me feel like I don't what to text or call my friends anymore. It makes me feel like I am an idiot or something with no trust issues. I had this app on my last phone and it was hard because of all. SO DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!!!

This app does its job and does it right. However, It's a horrible violation of privacy. It basically goes overboard with this app. If you're getting this app to see what your kid's search history is, I understand, but that's way too overprotective. Just respect your child's privacy. Get the app, but be respectful to your child. To all the overprotective parents out there: Give your kid some space.

Just wow..This app is what causes distrust between a parent and child. The child can't even message friends without being spyed on. Now take for example a parent was homophobic and the child was a member of the LGBT community, now imagine what that kid has to go through. And why do I use that as an example? Because that's exactly what happened to me, I have no trust in my parents anymore and have been forced to never see my boyfriend again.

For the most part this works fantastic. I only have one small issue. If I choose to use the default texting app in Android instead of the Guardian one, the notification sound doesn't work and neither does the visual notification.

I trust my son! I don't trust other ppl! And this has helped me help him with pushy, disrespectful, bad mouthed children! I couldn't thank you guys more!

I can't even go on anything with this stupid app, it's blocked even google! This app makes my phone function the same way as those keypad phones we used to have. This app has blocked EVERYTHING modern phones have! Thanks a lot MM Guardian.

This sucks. My dad now has to stalk me. I'm 13 and I need my privacy. I don't get enough privacy and NOW I HAVE NOTHING TO KEEP TO MYSELF. So like my dad stalks me now and that's nice. There's gonna be things he's gonna see and I'm gonna be like oh well.. That's what you get for stalking me. This app is stupiddd

It completely violates a kids privacy. My mom monitors EVERYTHING I DO because of this stupid app. If you want to stalk your child, then get the app. If you don't want to be a creep watching everything that goes on in a kids life, Don't get it. This thing even restricted me from getting Spotify! Not to mention it drains your phone battery so fast. Do everyone a favour and take this down from the play store.

The app is perfect, most of the negative comments come from kids having a cry. This app does not come on default to be over protective, it can be customized to monitor whatever the parents like on their childrens' phones. 5/5 from me. Think of the negative reviews by the teenagers as a sign of a good blocking app haha.

Its a good way for parents to watch their kids yes but it goes past the boundary between the child's privacy as well not to mention the Lil freedom a child may feel that they have as a person. I feel like there should still be some set boundrys on the child's personal life. I myself am under its contract from my mom even though I'm a grown adult. So I can speak from both perspectives.

I'm a kid, it works, does it's job right and is an overall good app, but when parents abuse the app it can get extremely annoying. Plus, this app tracks basically everything you do on your OWN PRIVATE PHONE, which is a complete violation of privacy.

I think this app is great for kids who need it. I am a teen under this. I am warning parents that I feel very hurt and I feel like my parents don't trust me. {Personal info} My family is part of a Christian church and for almost 4 years I was part of it. I felt like I didn't belong in the church so I left. My dad installed this app while my mom didn't approve. He didn't trust me anymore because I wasn't part of the church. This hurts a lot especially since he no longer trusts me on my phone. I think parents should talk to their kids and make out something instead of downloading this app.Thanks for reading! ~ A teen

I downloaded this app based on all the kids on here whining about their privacy and trust. That's exactly what my child has too much of. He thinks he's the boss, he thinks he's an adult and he deserves adult things. Well he isn't and he won't have adult freedom until he's an adult. All the crying kids on here need to realize us parents do these things out of love for you kids. You think you're grown, well you aren't. There are awful people in this world who will come for you. Us parents, good parents, are that barrier between you and the bad ones. Give your parents some credit. If your not doing anything bad, then there's nothing to worry about. We parents were young once, we know what's up. Believe it or not, we expect half the things we read on your phones, we aren't shocked by you flirting or being cute with your friends. We're here to stop the full grown adults with bad intentions. Not your little friends. So chill little darlings. We're doing our job right. It's not you we don't trust, it's them.

It was fine until I figured out that it could track where my phone is. That's going too far. I get it's to benefit my parents and to protect me but it's not letting me Google my Panic! At The Disco, saying that it is "depressing"!!! It is okay blocking my search and stuff but they can see when I add and delete a contact, when I send a text, and god knows what else!!! Overall I dislike it but it is supposed to protect ME and not make me HAPPY I guess. I can't check my data without the "Admin Password." It makes my phone glitch up. I know having a phone at my age is a privelage, and there will be some sacrifices I guess, but I'm serious this is invading my privacy. Ok, so it's not like I can talk privately about my stuff with my friends! I'd have to come out for God's sake! And then there's the fact that it won't let you use any apps. It makes my phone slow when it has a notification in the bar thing and I eventually had to disable notifications completely! It's lame and it makes me feel like I dont have a social life. -_-

I simply wanted an app that would track, set time restrictions, and let me know which apps are being installed. I did not want to see contents of conversations even though what I observed was really great on my daughters behalf. In addition, when I went to uninstall the app on my daughters phone it was simply a swipe into the uninstall trash can and voila, done! I didn't even have to use the administrative password!

Have you ever read 1984? I think it's becoming a reality. I have absolutely no privacy anymore, and I already have trust issues, and this makes it worse. It works, I'll tell you that, but you pretty much destroy all trust your child has in you. You should just talk to them about leaving their phone to charge while they sleep, and to avoid websites you don't want them to go on, because this app is like Big Brother. And he's watching you.

My kids hate it which means it works. Make sure you go thru all the steps, download correct app to each phone and enable anti-tamper. I love it.

It's like George Orwell's book 1984. Controlling, watching your every move, and it prevents certain things from functioning. It can control things on the phone, eliminating choice and freedom. It watches and spies on your every move, so you can never have privacy. It messes up things in your phone, like draining your battery 3x as fast as normal and messing with the default messaging app, so you sometimes get texts only days or weeks after they are sent. This program is not a good way to keep your child "safe" on the internet. They access "unsafe" websites no matter if you have a program like this installed or not. The controlling tyranny of this app only makes children hunger for free, unrestricted internet and apps. In the long run, it builds distrust and resentment between parent and child.

For the people saying this app is a violation of privacy obviously you aren't parents! This app is a great tool to allow your child to have a phone and be safe there are too many bad things and people online to just throw your child out there.
