2 non-functioning apps on the play store? Really?

Nothing loads this is horrible

Used to be my go-to app for MMA news now it's useless AF because in order to read any of the articles I have to go to the website. That defeats the purpose of having the app! So don't waste your time downloading this garbage app. Mma torch is a great site but a stupid app.

Have had the app years, now is just dated, slow, unresponsive. There's better around so uninstalling

This later version fails to update properly, avoid!

Used to be 5 stars before they made you visit their website. If I wanted to visit the website I wouldn't have downloaded the APP. Kind of disappointed they made this change. Should have implemented some type of survey on reading preference before the change. Still a loyal torch reader though....

It used to be my favorite app, but now all it does is refer me to the web site for "breaking news". I'll give it about a week to see if the convenience of the app returns, if it doesn't I'm uninstalling.

Absolutely useless app now that the mobile site is the focus. Every article is only a brief precis and directs you to the mobile site. No point in adding it now. Just suck it up and go to the mobile site instead. Crappy but it's obviously what torch is focusing on.

Penick and others are decent enough reporters. Although one thinks he is funny but comes off as a child. Most news is second day. The approach from app to mobile web blows. Uninstalled.

Used to be strong 3-4 stars but now they are trying to abandon the app and steer you to their mobile website which doesn't work(w/my phone). If i wanted to go to a website i wouldn't have installed an app. Back to mmajunkie, mmatorch you have been deleted. Your demise is imminent. Your reporters are full of opinionated, and worthless analysis on a sport they dont fully fathom.

The app used to be fantastic and an every day app and since the new update I can't and won't even use it. Actually just uninstalled it since you have to go to the website to read anything. Just pointless.

The update completely ruined what was once a great app. Now it's nothing more than a plug for the website. You'll see a quick summary of a news article, and then it tells you to go to the website for the rest of the article. If I wanted to get to the site, I'd open up a browser. I want my apps to have the information I need. I can't believe they thought this was a good idea. Uninstalling.

Just mma news would be good, but they try to do loads of extra stuff. Way too complicated! ! app is Not really Fot For Purpose anymore! !!

I thought the point of an app was to minimize the need to go to the web site not too just give brief bullet points and force you to go to the site to get the content you want. Was much better before the newest update.

No good anymore as no content makes it to the app. You have to go to the website instead. Waste of time.

Loved the app, it was easy to read and follow. Now they force you to uses horribly designed mobile site which is infected by adds. You lost a reader

Why does this app feel the need to let us know how they feel about every article? Every time I read something there is "Pennick's Analysis".. Who is Pennick and why does his thoughts matter any more than anyone else's? Maybe I'm overreacting but it seems like the guy doesn't know anything about mma...

Description says it all.please update after a fight quicker.it takes forever for any posts after an event also I don't want to visit your web page..that's why I downloaded the app thanks.other than that I love this app....

I have the app on my phone so I don't have to visit the website! The new format sucks and they need to switch back.

The app website was slowly getting better, but now there, once again, are so many ads that it shows the page down. I'm getting blasted with ads at every turn. I understand you need to make revenue off of them, but you're forcing WAY too many, and it's slowing down your website sometimes to a crawl.

What a let down. WAS a very good app but some one somewhere has tried to hard and ruined it! I'm now uninstalling and installing an actual phone app which this once was! Someone's gotta get sacked cuz I'm gone, along with all the other's......why change a good thing? Adios mma torch & hello mma summit! And...pennick is quite far up his own proverbial, opinions are great but I feel he believes he is actually THE LAW...bless him.

I understand the Torch is doing what they think they need to by going all in on their website, but why bother continuing with the app? It's just frustrating to get a couple of sentences and be told to go to the site for the rest of the story. Either ditch it altogether, or offer a pay option for those who want to read in the app...

Since they updated it, various functions of the app has stopped working, most notably the upcoming events calendar. Absolutely useless now unless you want just the updated news feed which is the only thing that works.

If I need to go to the web site why do I have an app? Message received. App deleted. MMA Summit installed.

I get the move to website since they are a small company and rely on website hits for profit. However the app is just the website now so there is zero point in this app. Still a loyal fan but sadly had to delete the app. Apps are to make the web more convenient and this app no longer does that.

There are no stories. Everything just says, check out our new mobile site. I don't want to check out the new mobile site, I want to open the freakin app and read some news. Uninstalling until fixed. Peace out yo.

Was very good last year, now it's a blundering mess. Don't know where the information comes from but it's all completely wrong.. Cant understand why they changed a good working app to this poo

This app was awesome but the last update made it nearly useless. Put it back the way it was. The point of an app is to make things easier not having to go to the website for information that we want to use the app to read. Change it back.

This is the worst and most useless mma apt I've ever seen theres no way there's a worst app then this one.... seriously you should be ashame for presenting this to the consumers as horrible as it is

The scroll on the bottom is completely unnecessary. It lags the app as well. It gets old drilling back down the list every time I read an article, this has been a problem far too long. The app is getting bloated, and some of the editorials are condescending and overstated. This used to be the best, drop the "fashion" and get back to function.

Why get the app if it tells you to visit the site and then when you visit the site it's the same as the app? I downloaded the app to READ IT ON THE APP, I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE WEBSITE!
