Q-See QC View for Android
Read the reviews never updated. Had version 3.40.0403 worked great then "failed to connect" over mobile data. Only worked over Wi-Fi. Reluctantly updated to latest version, and all is well... Also like the new simultaneously playback of chosen cameras
Latest version is broken. Unable to select date / time for playback. Only allows for current day and 2 futures days. Lame!
Garbage! Keeps failing to connect. Very unstable. Buy a more reliable brand like Samsung. The whole point of having a security system is to be able to review remotely.
I have the answer new app it's called Tech Pros SS light that will work for 99% of the people that are having issues
Was working very well until last update. Won't work.
Same story here, doesn't work since last update, is Q-see able to read comments from customers?
This app was working good until last update, now it is not connecting
Will not connect to phone Wasted 200$ plus hours of frustration
Everything works as it should. Every once in a while the app closes......is why I gave it 4 stars
Last updated caused connection to fail on same network
This app worked pretty good until the latest update. Now in playback reverse play doesn't work.
Works pretty good most of the time.
Worked before, after update it will not open the camera feeds.
Works for me.
App used to work. After last update it stopped. The hardware continues to be sold and nothing has been released from the company stating a fix is being worked on. Has anybody looked into a lawsuit against Q-See? It looks as though the company has screwed us all.
Unable to see live preview anymore. Nothing has changed at my end. So why am I getting login timout messages everytime I try to use this poorly built app to view cameras?
I just replaced my really old Q-See system with a new one and I am happy with it. Only drawback for me on the QC View app is the battery drain of approximately 25% on each of my phones even though no alerts are set and I haven't opened the app. If all of your settings are correct for remote viewing but you are having trouble viewing cameras in the app only, within the app go to Device Manager, tap your system name, tap the pencil and then change Live Viewing and Playback to the Main setting and not Extra, at least that is what worked for me.
Unable to connect at all. Like someone wrote earlier, this program no longer works. It DID work fine about a month or so ago but now, it won't connect. "Log In Timeout" is the message. Uninstalled and re-installed about 5 times and nothing. Can anyone out there recommend a program that WORKS??? There is no support help from QC. Oh, found out only connects if I'm near a Wi-Fi source! Totally ridiculous. If I'm in Las Vegas on business and want to check my cameras, SOL? Not good.
I haven't opened the app in a while, but it uses way more data and battery in the background then other camera system apps. It used 30% of my battery in the background (other camera app was using 8%), when my screen was only using 26% for web browsing. It was using 150mb over a couple weeks, when other apps only use 13mb a month in the background
I have this app installed on 3 different devices, an Iphone 6, a Huawei smartphone and an iPad. Once I resolved port forwarding and IP setup it works flawlessly. On an older Japanese android device however, it didn't work.
Unable to see live feed. Nothing has changed with me but when the app updated, I could no longer see the feed
Before purchasing the qsee 4mp 2tb system, I tried night owl from Costco and Swann from Fry's. What a difference! Everything works right away. Have had no trouble viewing remotely, zooming in digitally, or playing back remotely, all issues that I could never resolve even with the help of "tech support" on these other brands. I'm happy that after hours of wasted time I finally found a system that works great for me. Highly recommend!
App displays "failed to connect" in Live Preview mode since the update to version 3.40.0403. Tested on three devices, same results, all are running Android 6.01 Update - February 09, 2017 - Uninstalled 3.40.0403 and side loaded 3.40.0401 and the Live Preview mode works once again.
Why is the app constantly trying to connect to random servers even when I'm not using the app?? Even when I restrict internet access it keeps trying and is draining my battery! I have to keep it disabled when I'm not using it, this is ridiculous...
Please fix this app. I paid almost $2000 for my security cameras and I can't even view them remotely. Worthless!!!
Fix this we paid good money to protect our properties with these cameras and we can't see nothing when we leave our properties because of this crashing app!
Remote mobile view is broken. Only viewing over wifi works. Please fix the remote viewing.
Last update seems to have left me unable to log in. Reset everything a couple times and still nothing
What's going on? After updated I can not see the video. It just said "Please wait" Please fix it. Thank you...
DO NOT update to ver 3.4. Glad I only updated 1 device since now it won't connect. I even deleted my DVR & added it as a new device no luck. Roll it back
App is a joke....updates are not fixing problems people post....off to buy a different setup all together....were blows
After update I also just get please wait and not thing works. Help!
Worked great until a recent update. Now can't connect. Way to go guys.
Can only view live feed when on the same network. What's the point? The NVR is already connected to my TV. I want remote viewing to work again.
It's not working. Failed to connect
Live preview has stopped working. Nothing changed on my side.
Can't connect unless im using my home wifi. Y cant i look at it when im not home
Paid $$$ for cameras. At least make a worthwhile app for it.
Version 3.40.0403 stopped my phone from accessing my system i now have to use qc view hd to view my dvr

I have to re configure the app every two weeks. To remote View. I've submitted feedback dozens of times. Hoping it would get fixed, but it never gets fixed. Very disappointing. I'm stuck with the app because it's the only way to view my cameras remotely unless I get a new camera system. Would not recommend at all.
