MLS Soccer Scores & Highlights

Lots of great content about MLS soccer. Great for video clips or accessing the subscription MLS Live video service for games. Slow app, especially with news updates or updates to stats on games in progress. Recent update to news feed shows larger images on the news feed screen, but slows loading time and fits fewer summaries on screen at once (so more scrolling is needed). Suggest reducing image sizes. Would be helpful if the app knew what news stories are new since the app was last opened.

Pretty solid. Content is above average. However, I wish there was more stories being produced during national team breaks and long MLS breaks and more in depth coverage of all teams. Also the video playback is awful. Crashes, doesn't load, doesn't orient itself if you turn your phone sideways. Overall videos are a nightmare on this app.

Great app with all the info you could need. Sometimes videos are slow to load, and they​ don't put up the starting X1 until 30 minutes before the game, even though most teams announce it via Twitter 1 hour ahead of the game. Other than those small things, I love this app.

The app is ok, but MLS Live is almost worthless. Too many blackouts that last way too long. I don't know any other sport with blackouts that last longer than gametime. Definitely not renewing my subscription next season.

Ever since installing the latest update, a pop-up window now tells me I need to update...again. 'Cept that there isn't another update showing. Tried un-installing then reinstalling. No luck. Please fix? Love this app!!

Team/Game Notifications don't save after I set them!!!!! I have to add motivations each week, it doesn't just remind me when my favorite teams play. Chromecast support is amazing, it's the whole reason I bought the MLS-live subscription. Needs an option to pick the resolution. 4k resolution would be sweet to add for the new 4k Chromecast Ultra or Android TVs.

The main reason I downloaded the app was to be notified when my team has a game starting, but the notifications don't seem to be working consistently. Nicely designed app and good for checking schedules and standings, but it doesn't do me much good without the notifications.

Hate that MLS "live" is blacked out for games on TV or online. I only paid $80 to watch my team and can't watch the last 3 live. Besides that and sometimes having to reload the game cause the streaming stopped I think the app is spectacular and wonderful but can still use some improvements

This app only shows the USMNT and not the USWNT. WHAT THE HELL? They're both national teams and deserve your attention MLS!!! Withholding my five star rating until this is changed.

Horrible stream on MLS Live. Constantly buffers even though we have​ a 100Mbps internet connection. We stream all of our TV in this house through Chromecast, and this is easily the least reliable app. Normally end up muting the TV so that the sound cutting in and out when buffering isn't as annoying. Sure would like my $80 back.

Overall not bad. Had some streaming issues last week watching 2 games. Several times the app just dropped playing on my tv, but would be on the phone or it would stop all together.

LOVE having MLS at my fingertips! HATE that I pay $80 and there are blacked-out games. That's just wrong for paying customers, imo. Other than that, a good app.

Having issues with Chromecast. Constantly buffering. My internet speed is 75mb/s and I don't have issues with other apps. From what I read in other comments I'm not the only one with this problem. Please provide an update or resolution to the buffering.

Serious streaming issues. Pauses every 5 seconds or so. Worked fine last season. According to speedtest my download speed is more than fast enough. Won't renew for sure if this keeps up. Applies to both tablet and chromecast. Sad!

So far it's much better than last year's app. No need to select a team, news is easily accessible, could turn off scores. Now they just need to integrate fantasy into the app.

Pretty good app. It can be extremely annoying at times though. I turned off notifications, and it still sent me notifications. Sometimes it sends notifications 5 or 6 hours after the game, right in the middle of the night, and sometimes the notifications come in bunches, ensuring that I don't get a good nights sleep. I would only recommend this if you really care about the MLS or a specific team. Otherwise, probably more hastle than it's worth.

MLS Live portion of the app doesn't work with Chromecast Gen1 despite what they say. Customer support was worthless. Once I went out and got Gen2 it's been fine.

Pay top dollar to be watch a game because of blackout policies. Why have this app if you HAVE TO HAVE cable just to watch a game. Pointless.

It's not a bad app, but the notifications are not good. The notification "why did the rapids trade their ca..." Doesn't tell me what the article is about and isn't expandable to see the whole headline. And if I click on the notification it doesn't take me to the article itself.

I use this as an MLS Live subscriber. They greatly improved the chromecasting and streaming this year. Only annoyance is that many of the videos don't work on my LG G3.

It would be nice for the highlights to include all the highlights,and Not just the goals. Would also like to be able to post comments, see Simon Borg back on Instant Replay, and the Daily show brought back. App needs to work on its videos. Cant play a video without an ad starting to play a quarter of the way through the video

So so. The app itself is basically a mirror of the website, but for some reason lacks the comments sections on all sides and videos, so is actually a downgrade from the website, even the mobile version. This is my first season subscribing to MLS Live and one day into the third month I am pretty close to cancelling. I have yet to be able to watch a single match live without problems; using Chromecast three games constantly rebuffers. Blackout rules are ridiculous: local teams are blacked out for both home AND away games even if the local carrier is not airing the game. From what I see from other longer term subscribers there are several other problems and lost functionality that have not been addressed. Customer service is outrageously bad.

Great app! Would like to see fantasy team management incorporated into the app. Still, I use it daily to quench my MLS thirst!

Slow and way too many clicks required to get info you want. Far better ways to track scores and news than this app.

But why do they have to be so teeny tiny? Why not let us maximize the view?

Not too bad. The streaming services are the reason I bought the app services and most games are blacked out so....

Good info about what is happening in the league. Video does not stream smoothly consistantly.

Very disappointing I can't view video content from Scotland. I am a big TFC fan and it's not encouraging interest this side of the water

Why in the heck would you put the score all big on the replay screen? That is so silly. Why why why? Stream great though. Lose the score card on the replay screen...

Comprehensive app, but how hard would it be to filter out blocked matches? Really sucks to click on a match, select a stream, and then find out its blacked out

I love this app except the app needs to fix the videos and allow watching them in landscape view. It is absurd that I can only watch the videos in tiny portrait view.

Very good app. My only wish is I want to get past scores on my fossil Q marshal and not just up coming games.

App works great on the phone. MLS Live struggles on the Chromecast however. Lots of lag, slow loading, and poor image quality.

The voting system for the goal of the week is completely messed up. When you go to that section the goal of the week video and vote button are within a small applet that does not function smoothly at all. It tells you to slide in between videos but the slide stops and often pulls back to the previous video. I have never successfully made it to the final video. When you watch a video the video is slightly larger than a postage stamp and does not allow you to go to full screen.

Well designed and has all the infomation you would want. Only small problem is it's not great at playing videos.

Game summary content is taking too long time to load. Video and highlights are not always working well. The features I use the most are also the slowest.

I've had the app since it came out and love it. Not too fond of the latest update but definitely getting better!

Great app, a few bugs keep it from a 5 star review. Sometimes it updates slowly, has the wrong match time, etc

This app is crap. Why can't I sign into my Live account? Why can't I watch a game on my phone? That's why I am a subscribed.

Notifications could be improved by being much simpler. No need for all the graphics - just tell me who scored, when, and what the score is now. Also no need to group goal/discipline notifications; it clutters up the notification window and is limited in regards to how much can be shown. Would like to see ALL selected news notifications, not just the most recent. I love MLS, but use another app/apps to follow my favorite team because the notifications are much faster.
