If you are using their InControl software for writing scenes and triggers, I'm sure it's lovely. But I'm using Vera, which doesn't have a subscription fee, so I'm not interested.

The design and functionality of this application are superb. Other apps for zwave are pretty weak by comparison.

Works perfectly, no issues. Only wish it also had the option to use local ports along with cloud option.

If you are looking to get into home automatiomn this is the way to doo it.

This app is coming along nicely.

I don't know how I survived before this app. I love not having to get up every time my kids need a light turned on/off or being able to put a timer on my kids' electronics so I can monitor how long they play. My lights come on at night so I don't have to come home in the dark and my doors lock automatically. What more could I want?

This product is so much better than homeseer. I realize homeseer has a lot more features and plugins. But homeseer looks like crap, need to work in IT to use it. InControl is easy to use and has an excellent GUI

This is an awesome app, although it would be nice to see some improvements, such as energy records.

Requires server install, why would I ever need that extra security vulnerability when you can just get the App Home Buddy instead which requires no server install.

Don't expect every device to work properly, even if its been out on the market for a few years already. Make sure you buy devices that has been tested with this software. Every single device should work, given the limited Z-Wave devices compared to WiFi and Bluetooth. If you need the most complete compatibility, go with Mi Casa Verde. Otherwise, you have to request your device to be tested with this software if it doesn't work properly. I'm gonna wait for the next Vera product, if it comes out within 1 or 2 years, if not, I'm just going to get the Vera Lite.

They have released many updates. Most problems have been fixed. There are still some bugs but as long as you report it to the support team they fix it rather quickly. I run my entire house with this I have 32 devices plugs and switches. It turns all my lights on when it gets dark and off when the light comes out . Definitely worth the purchase of the equipment.

This a REALLY GREAT Z-wave mobile app to go along with the REALLY GREAT InControl Z-wave software. I've been messing around with Z-wave for a little over five years now -- old school with ThinkEssentials which was good for its day. But I am really impressed with the advances InControl has made! Who needs to give any more money over to ComCrap when you can do it all yourself not just for less $$$ but much, much better. - Tim W., Wheaton, IL

So cool to be able to schedule, check and control the z-wave devices. It took me a while to figure it out but once I did, it works great!

Connects to cloud server but won't list any devices

I am really into zwave and use all over my house. This developer has been awsome, VERY responsive to my questions, and the app and desktop software works perfect for me.

This software is great for z-wave home automation. No qualms so far!

Update: After reporting a bug, a fix was released the next day. Interface is significantly better and easy to use. I use it everyday now. Love the widget addition.

Great app. Much better than the original app. Nice to not have to use port forwarding to setup remote access anymore.

I just wish there was a way to sort the icons by Room-name first. Thank you for a great app

I'm pretty new to Zwave and found a great deal on InControl Pro, which this app manages. While using the app, I had some questions and posted to the developers support forum, they answered within 15 minutes! Great app and great support! What more can you ask for? I'm getting all my friends to buy their software and kit for their home automation needs.

If you are into setting up a home automation system this certainly is a great way to do it. The software is great value and the support is excellent. The company runs a forum to involve the user community in development ideas and enhancements so the product keeps getting better.
