Translations are not all that helpful - some words only have the given definitions in certain contexts. Without the gender of a noun, you can't use it. The "English sound" column on the "Alphabet " page is useless because Greek speakers don't say the letters in that way. The text that looks like a pronunciation guide is not and will just confuse you. The pronunciation guide for the letters is wrong in places. There isn't enough space here to explain how bad it is. Ask a Greek!
