Nice app, gives you enough guidance to cook a decent steak. Obviously it's not going to be perfect every time, you need to use it a few times and then adjust the times slightly to your taste/cooking method, but it certainly steers you in the right direction. One small criticism, I pressed the recent apps button and then pressed clear all half way through cooking and it lost my steak! The queue needs to run as a service in the background perhaps?

Bbq setting works great every time. Although I angle the steak 90 degrees halfway through before turning each side. Gives the classic cross hatch pattern. Be great to see where halfway is on the timer!

To have proper steak I always have to use oven for additional 5 minutes 160C.

Pretty nice app but missing the ability to also grill hot dogs, hamburgers, fish and vegetables. Please add toggle for metric and imperial.

Overly dried steak. Followed exact guide. Deleted.

I've tried installing and uninstalling a couple of times and tried restarting my phone but no change. I would love to get it to work so I can have a crack at it.

Awesome app, have used it multiple times and it frees me up while cooking to work on the side dishes.

It would be nice if you could change the unit of measurement to inches.

I used to love it, then it just stopped working and freezes up, tried uninstalling it a few times and re installing it. Still not working. Which is to bad

This is a great app, I love that you can queue different levels of cooking

I have given this app at least half dozen trials on 2 weber bbqs. Each time it estimated roughly only half the time required to cook steak to the desired level. What a shame, I really wanted this to work.

Once you're comfortable with the grill temperature, this app will give you perfect stalls every time.

Use it every time I cook up some meat. Can you also do a windows 10 universal app?

Works with a gas BBQ. Would be nice if you could change the units to imperial and a little more input on temperatures wouldn't go a miss.

1 im a regular steaker. watched chefs cook petfectly. BUT this app- do i pre heat the pan? add oil and what type and how mach? add peppercorn or salt on the steak? How much gas in Medium? didnt tell me before start i need foil ready - lost 5 minutes looking for it and covering the steak. And didnt come out professionally. this app needs to provide more details and materials needed before starting like FOIL. assume im a complete novice.

Perfect meat everytime

This app is a great go to grilling companion. Still need to know some basics because everybody's grill heats slightly different but times are pretty dead on. The interface is easy to use and gives many options to select the right steak to cook. Suggestions for improvement : I know the app is "Steak" mate but would be helpful on adding some options for poultry, pork, fish/seafood ect. also adding an option for inches and centimeters.
