Grid Nav Free MGRS Utility for Android
All good. Wish it could show distance and direction to a given grid.
Best app on the play store for MGRS grids.
Works great & fast
Excelent app. Simple and useful.
App is great. It's helped me out on land nav sites many times :)
This app sucks, and I wouldn't waist 99 cents on it.

I gave it an hour to update and it just sat there. I had my device location on and the app saw 23 satelights. I un/reinstalled twice with the same results. Galaxys5, android kitkat OS fully updated.
It needs a copy paste ability for the coords so you can put it into a text.
Iam using a Galaxy note3. When share menu is used window opens in a zoomed in view. You can not zoom out or swipe r/l to see the share options. Iguess this because its the feeware version.
Keeps on updating only. ...
Awesome!
It wouldn't work when I needed a grid, it was 2 klicks away from my pos... it works with wifi but not good for land Navigation.
Way off! Would be better if it had a place to put in a coordinate then gave you distance and direction from current location.
I was looking for an app to help me approximate a parcel of land. Working great right now, seeing as many as 12 satellites. Hope the trees aren't too thick on the parcel I plan to check.
It wos updating my location for 1hr so uninstalled it
Call for fire on the gooo!
Does the job fast not sure on bearing yet
only converts one way (can't do mgrs->geo etc). page swiping doesn't work reliably and breaks back button. why the hell would anyone buy the ad-free version of this garbage?
Sometimes it's right on, other times it's way off. Double checked grids with military GPS to verify inconsistencies. Not reliable enough for me, and slow to track.
Works great & fast
Saved me
Its pretty good honey
EXCUSE ME. Why does it need my phone ID and full access to internet? Apart from that it looks promising.
Jury's still out. Sometimes it's on point, others, and they are rare it has been off by 3 grid squares. Still like the software, but I always have somebody double check with me when appropriate.
This app allows me to use MGRS, which after 20 years in the Army is what I'm comfortable with. Great app, never had any issues with it.
... half the battle. In case I need to request fire support in the 'burbs...
Cross referenced it with my map and grid coordinates of my known location and it was spot on. Perfect for miltary. Only problem is slow tracking.
Turned it on for the first time in a hotel room, and it had my coordinates in perfect accuracy, while stating it was seeing 11 satellites. What is most shocking, really, is that this information wasn't already available to the user of a phone with GPS - if the phone had always been reading satellites and calculating position, why wasn't that information available to the user? Without that info, you could only previously see your position in an urban area (street maps).
Not a bad ap, it displays the error margin you get from the sats and lets you choose metric or imperial. Can't input MGRS coordinates though.

simple, very simple, but easy to use and not too bad
Love how simple this is. No excessive complications
Mine is off by 5000 meters
Grid accuracy +/- 14,786 feet! Well at least I'll know what state I'm in? ¿
Awesome for land nav. Definitely wouldn't rely on it for fires. Then again why would you.
Very good app. Just need to be able to input waypoints
Thanks so much for making this phenomenal free app!
Its good.
