This App is based on source code of Kodi which is free to download on Play Store. The interface is sane and one can even see Kodi branding in some screens. The developer has done some customisation to the Kodi source code such as HD Audio pass through, 4K GUI for nVidia Shield etc. There is yet another free App called SPMC which makes similar claims and has been developed by a former Kodi developer. I tested it and found to be buggy. I own Shield and decided to give it a try. It is better than SPMC but when it comes to pass through of HD Audio, it crashes. Even if the media does not have HD Audio. Since the developer claims compatibility with Shield, I expect it would have been thoroughly tested on it. Without this customisation this App is no better than Kodi and makes no sense to buy it. Overall it lacks refinement expected from chargeable App.
