On later versions of Android only PIE files can be executed. This makes the app nonfunctional on recent Android devices.

needs PIE and when this part fails to run it's treated like a completed.

"error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported." You should update this app and recompile everything with -fPIE

Installed fine, but when I `debkit mount` and `debkit chroot`, I see this: _________________________________________________________ Setting up the environment... chrooting into the debkit... chroot: can't execute '/bin/bash': Permission denied _________________________________________________________ Suggestions are welcome...

Worked fine in android 4.4 but not working in 5.1straight out of the box. Need to update(flash) the linker then works fine.

It says my phone is not rooted, but it is. Could it be SE linux? Anyway it's not installing.

K70%
by K####:

I'm using this on android 5.1 - there's a patch for linker on xda that will make this (and other executables 5.0 broke) work again. After patching linker this works like a charm

Deleted it self , can't be installed

How do I uninstall?

R70%

IT WOOOORKS!!!! YAYYY!!! great support. not that easy to get it working since it can crash and leave you with a half-installed system. but then, you just tell it to install everything again, and hope this time it doesn't crash. and then, you have a full debian system inside your phone.

Update: Problem apps2sd implementation causing Android to run out of available loop devices. Not fault of app itself. Buggers :-( ******************************* Loop device handling no longer functional, thus image can't be mounted.
