Cricket Visual Voicemail

As soon as you put your phone to your ear the voicemail stops playing every single time. Doesn't matter if you have proximity sensor on or off in the settings. The only way to listen to your voicemails is to put it on speakerphone and let everyone around you hear them. Best to NOT use this app until they fix it.

Its good when it works. It will only let me have about 3 voice mails max (short) and tell me I'm out of space, I clear space to hear my voicemail it takes a long time up to a day to let me hear it if it even does. I rather old voicemail it didn't have these issues if was fixed I'm happy with it. God bless

I love this app. I hate having to get into my voice mail normally and this does a great job letting me just see what was said. My issues are with the syncing to the voice mail box. When I delete the message on this app it doesn't delete the message in the mailbox. I hope this is a big enough issue to fix in the next update. I really appreciate this app and what it is supposed to do.

I'm going to lose important messages because there's no playback, the app hangs up when I press play then slowly plays nothing & takes an hour to play nothing, in addition it chimes the deletion of a previous message while I'm listening to a new message WHEN it let's me playback messages. Junk

The app is great, when it works properly. I've re-setup the app more than three times and seem to have constant issues with it picking up my voicemails. Hitting refresh causes a black bar that reads "No Connectivity" to flash over and over at the bottom of the screen.

Does not work for me with the oneplus one running nouget 7.1 resurrection ROM and will not allow me to setup voice mail making it useless. Also has not been updated in a very long time, makes you question if there is any actual support.

Hasn't been updated in a year and doesn't work correctly on my ZTE Axon 7. When someone leaves me a voicemail, I get my phone's built-in voicemail notification but never a notification from this app. When my phone's built-in voicemail notification alerts me to a new voicemail, I then have to manually open this app and it still doesn't show any voicemails until I manually refresh it. I have all of the apps permissions turned on and every other imaginable permission within the Android system that should allow this app to work turned on as well. Still, it doesn't work. #Fail

Asking me to create a 4 digit pin but never continues past that point after I've done so. I followed the instructions of "do not use consecutive numbers" and I'm still stuck at the screen to create a 4 digit pin. Please fix...

The new updates are horrible. They do not let you know through notifications nor the app that you have messages. When messages do appear, you can't delete them through the carrier's voicemail. I deleted the updates, and now it's working a lot better. I have had many issues with this app with the updates. Not recommended.

This app simply didn't work. When I went to setup the voicemail, it looped forever between "To get started, call your voicemail..." and "We're setting up your mailbox." Edit: Yes, Cricket I see your response. I contacted tech support and they said they needed to "escalate the problem" and that "they would get back to me." I still haven't heard back, and the problem is still there. So much for helping me.

I loved this app when I had my s5 and s6 but since I have the gal s7 it no longer works have tried Uninstalling it and re install but it always stops when setting up saying something is not right. When will they have those fixed?

Shocked and appalled! No notifications of new messages. It takes about a week for messages to show up in Visual Inbox... I wonder if you guys updated on your end? It sure is NOT functioning properly. Please get it together. This is just ridiculous! It is 2017...

Had VVM for a while out the blue I went to check my voicemail and it said the my sim was recently changed and I have to re-set up my VVM. But my sim was never changed. I've force closed this app 15 times and uninstalled it and re- installed it 10 times to get it to work. But I'm stuck at the part to enter my pin. I keep entering my pin and it keeps going back to do it again. Idk what happened but this app is getting on my last nerves. It was working fine then idk what happened.

It sucks it continues to tell me that I have insufficient memory to. Sick of the cheap phones crickets sells. But at my local cricket store in East TX . The best customer service folks ever!

Reqesting too many permissions and refuses to work unless granted all permissions. All I need it to do is play back my voicemail, why microphone and SMS permission? Uninstalling until removes permissions or allows me to use it without additional permissions with limited functionality.

This app was good on my old phone but now I can barely hear my voicemails. I put it on speaker and have to put it all the way up to my ear? Why is the volume so low on this app? Is there something I can do to fix this?!

Bug Report: Putting the phone to my ear makes the playback stop. The current version does not have proximity sensing. Ad a result, putting the phone to my ear causes the side of my face to touch the screen, which is interpreted as pressing the Stop button.

Great in theory... But a HUGE waste of time in execution. Text translation is hit or miss (although sometimes good for a laugh), and messages deleted in the app STILL have to be separately deleted from the actual inbox... Time consuming and horribly inconvenient, especially when it means having to manually listen to and delete 20+ messages that you already deleted in the app. PLEASE fix this!

It's a piece of crapp! The messages read as though they were speaking in unknown tongues that I can't interpret or the messages are all over the place incorrectly spoken!!! Please do something about this app so we can "all" enjoy it 100p%.

Set-up up New updated Cricket Voicemail app. I like having the text reading with it. It had a couple burps when testing. I had to refresh once in the app and restart phone the second time. I miss hearing the Cricket Sound Whoo Hoo to let me know I have a message.

I love having this app. Most amusing. Doesn't always hear everything correctly. My favorite thing is to read the incorrect messages. They are typically hilarious. That is why I love this app. That & return phone numbers are usually correct. Seeing the number is more helpful to me than hearing it.

This app DOESN'T HAVE A SHOTCUT for MY phone! It's the NEW LG 3 STYLIST, so why doesn't have an app shortcut get to your voicemails?!! I have to go through 2-3 steps just get to my voicemails! It's a hassle & IT'S making me want to change phones!

It's adequate. Docked a couple stars because the screen doesn't turn off when you put your phone up to your face, resulting in your face bumping various buttons and messing up playback.

Ever since Cricket updated there voice mail to enhance the system for you this app, visual voicemail does not work any more. Will not let you set it up. Does not work even after following Cricket troubleshooting guide.

Added features are nice but deleting from phone dialer is not going to help. I got E-mails from many people saying that my voicemail was full but the latest version program clearly showed that the voicemails were gone, seems like a major bug.

I use Google voicemail and it does not support the .amr file type, do have to find a converter in order to be able to forward a voicemail to anyone. Can't even forward it to another contact unless they are also using Cricket, and confusing setup asks for mailboxes, which most friends and business users do not have. If you try to save the voicemail, it automatically saves it to internal storage "Music" folder and you can't change that. This is an AWFUL app.

I hate it. It always had this little notification bar at the top of my phone and it won't go away! I've tried everyrhing. Either fix it or this review will stay!

The app receives the voicemail just fine, but when I delete the voicemail the voicemail notification stays on in the notification area and doesn't delete with carrier. Have to call voicemail and delete it from inbox. Please fix and will give 5 stars again

Doesn't always pop up when you get a voice mail. If you call in to hear your messages, it should change the unread / unheard messages to none. And then the big one.... What am adventure to see what it thinks it's heard and then turned into text. Oh boy. Comedic, really. If other cellular companies can provide a decent visual voicemail, why can't you cricket?

Concept is great. I love it. EXCEPT for one issue. I delete messages and they come back. I work in healthcare and get paid by the client. I have been losing money because my voicemail will say "full" when in fact i deleted the messages. I have tried calling voicemail to delete and deleting on this app. They come back. I am so glad that I am not living a double life. Lol I would get caught for sure lol I have also sent an email and have not received a response. Pleas fix, this is a great app other wise. Oh! I love the text to voice messages. I think that's what its called. Sometimes you just can't listen and the text is very helpful. Please email me a solution.

I like it better because you don't necessarily have to connect to your voicemail through a phone call. It's pretty simple to use. It may not recognize everything that is said in the voicemail correctly but for the most part I still like it better overall. It also translates your voicemails to text and you can save them.

But, I liked the look of the old one better. This one looks old and crappy. I wish the hyphens in the phone numbers were still there just so it doesn't look like a jumble of numbers. Also, I used to be able to clear all the massages at once from the app, and now I can't... It's important because I do business with it.

I used to really like this app, would display voicemails and if I deleted it, would delete in the regular inbox too. But after the last update, after I deleted a message, the notification in the main box wouldn't clear, had to go into settings to turn it off. Now, even if I delete a message, this app keeps the notification, even after I turn it off. Had to restart my phone to get it to clear. Not helpful at all and waste of time having to check two different features to try and just clear a notification.

Can't ever load the voicemails so I can listen to them. Then, when I try to pull up my voicemails it says no data so I have to delete voicemails that I could never even listen to just to see if the newest one will upload and play. End result, loads forever and can't listen to voicemails.

Worst tech support experience ever. Still can't delete messages through app. After 4 calls - deleted all voicemails, deleted app and reinstalled 5 times while turning WiFi off, wiped cache partition - STILL not working! Crickets solution? Use regular voice-mail to delete new messages. Then what is the purpose of your Visual Voicemail?!? Tech support is useless!

It's a great up, however every time it updates, it erases everything. All of my voiemails. And I have to sign in manually everytime after it updates. I just shut off auto-update. I hope that this doesn't cause problems in the future.

Before the update, everything was working wonderfully. Now, when I try to delete a message through this app, the actual voice mail on the server does not get deleted and it continues to show a notification that the message is new. I have to call into my voicemail now and delete.

Removes voicemails from visual voicemail but they remain if I log into the voicemail from my phone. Also voicemail to text only works maybe 1/2 the time. Other than that it's better than having to dial in.

I liked the app at first, however it says my in box is full but there is nothing in it. It now says that I can't receive messages because it is full despite the fact I deleted all messages including saved ones. Fix this for 5 stars!
