Mixlr - Social Live Audio

The reason, I've given it one star is that it doesn't play on my phone. Mixlr used to work fine on my previous phone. As soon as I changed my phone as Samsung galaxy s2, I reinstalled Mixlr but it doesn't work. It opens, shows my search, open the channel, starts buffering and after buffering it just shows me the screen of mixlr and nothing else. No audio, no time-count of audio played even. I reinstalled it many times but no change.

I love the mixlr network and listen to loads of content. Unfortunately the Android app is awful, buggy , lacks all features and is totally neglected as compared to the IOS version. It's really unfair for Mixlr to neglect the Android app which hasn't been updated since 2014 and worse then the iOS version. Android is a massive user base and should not be ignored! The network has so much potential otherwise!

App has terrible background play, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it on your phone. It works but since it will just randomly stop playing and I have to open my phone to get it to go again, it gets very annoying and really turns me off from what would be an otherwise awesome app. Also Facebook link is unreliable.

I want to rate this app higher. Stream drops every 10-15 minutes. Nexus 5X. 11/1 update: nothing has changed stream drops for no reason consistently every 3-5 minutes. Nexus 5X

Why can't I upload bc's lasting an hour or more from my phone? Issues with app saying off air when the station is airing. Loading time could improve. Facebook sign in never works so please remove that option to avoid persons wasting time

I will give 5 star if I can play also my playlist on air using my phone not just a laptop or desktop. If its already possible please let me know. Thanks!

However the save to show reel hangs if uploading over phone data and not wifi. And the is no option to publish recordings later If internet drops, the app will stop recording to storage as well and the final audio will have gaps in it. Very bad, please fix

I used to be able to listen to streams with ease before, but more recently several problems have popped up. When I go to listen to a stream, it stops randomly. When trying to stream stuff, it also stops randomly, without saving the broadcast. Even if I do make it through the entire broadcast, it doesn't save and upload streams anymore. Please fix this mixlr, return this app to how good it used to be!

I have no idea what this Android app will actually do since it won't let me log in and do anything! First it was a "403 Forbidden" error. Then after I set up a account using an iPad, it wouldn't let me log in to the account I set up. Well, I guess that's progress, I got rid of the "forbidden" error. Hey, do you think Apple bought it and that's why it only works on Apple devices?!?!

1. When a followed user is live, it shows as on-air and a duplicate as off-air. 2. You should be able to close the app through the notification with either an X button or swipe away when muted. 3. This is a nitpick, but 'mute' should be 'stop' or 'pause' because it stops the stream, instead of just turning off the sound.

Good but they need to add a lot of stuff such as a panel to control your broadcast. They need to add a play where you can make a playlist from Spotify or your playlist on your phone. They need to have a on and off button for voice also.

Mixlr has a slow and bad service. Confirmation take so long. You can wait more than a hour to receive your confirmation link. 2nd is, it is better to broadcast your audio by uploading music other than broadcast your audio only use by Android sound recorder.

I can't log in or create an account, even when i tried to login with my Facebook ID it still didn't work. I can't search for live streaming. I've missed a very important programme going on air. Absolutely unreliable!

SO BUGGY! FIX IT! Want to listen to techno but the app chooses to play classical. What about DnB? No, jazz it is. Wtf?

It workers perfectly! Now I am going to enjoy our believed Ethiopian Pastor Tezera Yared online radio broadcasting every Sunday morning GMT+3...wow

Fails to play any streams, and offers to open the link to a showreel in a browser. I can't even access my own showreel so cannot even listen to my own recordings. On the plus side, it is not as bloated as similar apps.

We really like your app. When we are in area's of good wifi. We do have one desire...we wish we could stream an existing audio file. Other than that great quality and sound. Thank you

Great app. 5 stars. Only improvements I would make is have a tally of listens of a pages showreel available, and have the android version of the app open the showreel in the app like the apple version of the app does.

Works well on my device. However, when I tried on another device (GT-S7582), the speed of the audio in broadcasting get increased automatically and get an effect of pressing forward button in tape recorder. Not sure why. :(

Frankly... I dislike it. It allows to broadcast audio only instead of adding playlist as well. It's not exciting, not fun at all!! Please add a feature to allow users to add songs in here...

Everything freezes when trying to load up anything when I have my wifi on... using my mobile network everything is fine. Why is this?

Always asks me for different app to open in. I can access it through my browser so not a complete waste of time. Hoping it will be more stable soon.

The streaming feed is very high efficient but I uploaded on podcast and I can't delete it. Not only that when I wanted listen to it it wasn't supported at the app platform I had to listen to it on the browsing page

Either due to inadequate buffers or lack of bandwidth, I cannot maintain a stream ever. If it wasn't for a single stream I follow, I'd never touch this app. Ever.

Thats cool!! But, can you let us left the page without lost it? Because I use this app just for streaming. So, might let us record what we want to? And give notification on our phone when whom we followed are on air. Thank you

Why cant you live chat on the Android phone but on my tablet i can i would give 5 star but this feature isnt even on there

This is greatly for creating new financial and labor need. I'm happy having easy and modern media resources as Counseling plan.

Has worked great in the past and the apps quite nice. Though the stability experienced with a pro and poor customer support lead me to using other solutions.

App sound doesn't work on my Galaxy tab 10.1 (samsumg galaxy GT-N8000) Please can you fix this. There is no sound on the broadcast but the rest of the app seems to be working.

This app looks fully formed on IOS but there is no capability to play back show reel recordings in this app.

It's a nice functional app and great for discovering independent radio stations. Beautiful interface. Only problem is that once the app starts, it always remains in the top notifications bar, without any close or shutdown button, even though it's not being used anymore. Current solutions are Phone restart or Force Stop from app menu.

Very easy to use, love that! A few complaints; broadcasts always fail to upload. No way to adjust mic sensitivity. Sometimes feeds don't show up as on air, even though they are.

I have used the windows version and was excited about using this on my lighter tablet but was disappointed that it won't pick up an external mic plugged in the audio jack. Having the different audio input options as in the windows version and having the afore mentioned problem fixed would make this app perfect.

Could be so much better, and it is/looks better on chrome than on the app. Mixlr is great so I hope the app gets better soon though worth having
