Mixcloud - Radio & DJ mixes

Every time I quit, it looses the position of the item I am listening to. It is really frustrating as next time not only do I have to find it again but also manually work out where I was by manually skipping. That is such a basic thing it can't do.

This app cannot manage to kewp my place when I pause it. Example: I pause it to go into the stire. When I get back to the truck, it's loaded sone other mix. I have to restart and fast forward to where I think I left off. This adds up on the region lock counter and locks out the mix before i'm even done listening to it once.

Buggy as hell. I don't understand how it can be so bad

Still not fixed bug. When listening to a mix and exit the app you cannot reopen the app to play the same mix. The app loads a random mix so you lose the mix you want to listen to as well as the time you exited the app. Lots of reloading and moving cursor to find out where you left off. Off to SoundCloud......

Big plus for supporting latest version of Android, app is smooth AF now :)

The app has almost everything I need except for Android Auto support. Would really like to have that!

Great app but like other say when you re-open the app after a period of time it loses the last played item and position and throws you to the home screen.

The app needs a lot of work. Pausing and playing again sometimes causes the mix to skip to the next one. The search function sucks and the results are rarely relevant. There should at least be a sorting option so I can see the newest uploads first but instead there is no sorting option and it gives me mixes from years ago.

Most unreliable music app in the world. So frustrating to use. Forgets my position all the time, constantly crashes or stops playing. If you pause from Bluetooth headphones so many times you need to open the app to resume playing. It's just a cluster. I'm coming from iOS and it's the same story there. I hoped maybe the Android version would be better but no.. worse.

Why do I can't pass from the screen "login failed"? I tried everything even create a new account using Facebook and does not work. Please answer me fast as you can guys. I like so much of your platform but I want to listen the mixes on my phone.

While the features and layout of the app are great, there is an annoying bug that keeps me from coming back. Whenever I minimize the app and then open it back up, the current mix stops playing and the mix that was played prior is preloaded. This has been an ongoing issue since I started using the app a year ago. Please fix this bug! This is annoying me to a point where I don't want to use the app. And I love mixcloud on my PC. So this issue is a real shame.

Was in love with Mixcloud when I was on iOS. Since I'm on Android, the love is gone. Playback is erratic, buffering is causing frequent skips. Reopening the app will sometimes bring you back where you left but not always. Inverted play and pause icons! Mobile management for listen later list is gone. What's with the Vietnamese tech mix loading unexpectedly after my mix ends?! Why can't the algorithm pick something from the same artist or at least from the same category ? Lots of work is needed to bring it to par with the iOS version and other apps like SoundCloud.

What's the deal with switching to random shows in completely different genres than I listen too? I listen to Black Metal and then it jumps to a Vietnamese pop station, or urban. This is why I stopped using soundcloud and will likely have to seek out a new method of streaming, it used to at least go to people I followed now it doesn't and it interrupts me at work to have to stop and change it.

Fix the random songs that play after listening to a song in my feed. You would think the next song in my feed would play when the current song in my feed is finished, but instead a random annoying song that isnt even part of my feed plays! Not sure if this is a marketing strategy or what but as a listener it's very very annoying, Because as I'm in the edc mode and a random Not edc song plays, it kills my vibe and love for the app. Fix it please or I'm deleting this app and going back to SoundCloud. Thanks! Otherwise great work!

Really like the content on mixcloud but it's near impossible to use while on data because mixes will randomly stop and does not start back up where you left off; instead, it just buffers endlessly or starts at the beginning of the song/mix. While connected to WiFi it's much better but there will still be random pauses. Really disappointed this problem has been going on for so long and not fixed.

Good content, but terrible app. Stops playing randomly, skip to random tracks constantly and even if I pause playback for a moment, moving playback back and forward on the podcasts is a pain in the a**, and I can not pause and resume even if my life was depending on it.

half assed attempt at best. if the platform wasn't supported by artists that've had to abandon SoundCloud, I would delete it in a heartbeat. clearly the devs couldn't care less, just look at the other reviews. all the people that rated it 5 stars are either stupid or don't know a good app(le) from a rotten one!

This app needs an widget , and new looks etc. And a change in whole algorithm of this application! Pls increase the sound quality. Its getting bad and bad.

App has no way of password recovery! Terrible UX. Signed up, created account (which app SHOULD remember) use for a day and go back second day only to have to login again. Can't remember password and no way to recover. And no, I do not use face book. Too bad because I liked the music.

after log in, an error pops up and is immediately covered with 3 new layers of log in screens. cannot see the problem, cannot use the app. useless, such a pity as i was using it via browser on pc.

Cannot enter the app. When i enter my login and password app seems to work but after second or two brings me back to login screen. Cannot use the app at all. Useless

This is a decent app and I'd give it four stars if I could order my searches by most recent! Other start is because playback is a bit buggy and the UX is somehow a bit confusing.

Lately even better, but please stop with playing mixes that I don't want. I'm relaxing with a chillout mix, all is peaceful, then some techno mix or something starts. Highly annoying!

Rubbish. When your mix has finished, the app automatically plays a random mix. You can't turn this terrible feature off. Worst app ever

Platform flaky - app as reliable as me getting out of bed @ 4 in the morning... Fix the remember where you were listening as if you pause it forgets then brings up some utter pish I would never listen to...

I really like Mixcloud in general but this app needs work. I have primarily used Mixcloud via Chrome on the Desktop but I recently downloaded the app on my Pixel 2 XL. I'm running into the same issues other are with losing my place on a track or the track skipping back in the queue. Guess I'll stick to the in browser desktop version for now.

I only use this app to get my local radio station on, otherwise I wouldn't use it at all. It's seriously annoys me no end having lists of what my friends are listening to with the occasional sponsored radio station thrown in for good measure. I want the programs from my local radio station and nothing more. For me the rest is unnecessary and unwanted clutter.

The most simplest and basic task of playing back a mix on my Xiaomi android phone doesn't work. It stops playing after a minute. Hence this app is useless. Shame cos mixcloud is great otherwise.

Great app but stops every time another notification plays a sound, should be either paused and resumed or slightly muted. I'll change to 5 stars once it is fixed, otherwise no use actually, I use it in the car (pending).

As multiple others have mentioned, this app has problems. Why does it jump to another mix if I switch apps and come back to it? How is such a fatal bug is not addressed immediately is beyond me. Having to scrub to figure out where I was in the mix I was listening to before it jumped to the next each time is enough to make me uninstall this.

Notification cant access. Keep asking to retry. Tracklist some cant view in full. Eg: name of tracks partially displayed. Its so frustrating

Works wonderfully, unless you need to pause it. In which case it gets amnesia and completely forgets what it was playing, which isn't great when you're listening to a mix, which are inherently longer than one song, which I thought was the whole the whole point of the enterprise.

The app is experiencing difficulties logging into my account. User ID recognized but email is not recognized as a valid account. I tried uninstalling but didnt fix anything. Please fix !! This is a 5-star app !!!

Great content but the app drives me nuts. Always forgets your position or skips to a random mix when you flick back and forth to any other audio. Sort it out pls guys.

App is great, except the seeker on the playing music is awful, a nightmare to use. Getting on my nerves every time, it's so imprecise and random. SoundCloud does it better.

Good in principle but quite unpolished compared to other apps. For example it works with Chromecast audio but not well, it doesn't bring up a Chromecast notification or default to controlling the Chromecast volume like other apps would. Often forgets where it is in a track or which track was playing last.
