About Mitra: track what matters most

The Mitra app helps you identify your personal values and learn how your emotions impact your ability to live in alignment with those values in your everyday life. With Mitra, you can:
• Build awareness of your values and emotions. Being asked to think about your values and emotions once a day can cultivate emotional awareness and help you stay true to your personal values.
• Explore connections between your values and emotions. Over time, you’ll see trends in your values and emotions data. Noticing how they might relate can inform ways of navigating events in your life that improve value alignment and positive emotions.
• Reflect on your day. Use Mitra’s simple journal to reflect on and record what contributed to your day’s value alignment and emotion rating.
• Continue to learn and grow. Regularly plot your values and emotions and explore how you might better align with your core values and navigate positive and negative emotions. You can view the “Analytics” screen to see your improvement over time.

I think this app is a great idea and I've really noticed how my perspective has changed. However the app continues to crash almost every time I try to open it. There are many times when it will continue to load my values when I try to record my day, and it will simply never show them. I make sure that I have a solid Internet connection while my phone battery is well charged. I love the app, and I'd like to rate it five stars, but I can't do that until these issues are fixed.

"My experience of x emotion is" positive or negative? Now? Do I think that such experience is positive for me, or am I positive that I am experiencing it? The app looks awesome, but tapping on icons didn't do anything until I found the magic formula to make the app work, and once it worked, it felt ambiguous. Maybe others won't find it that difficult.
