Misfit for Android
I like it
Very accurate. Great customer service.
Great activity tracker & great app
Need more fun functions
Graphs on Jawbone better & interactive
Nicely looking app. Generally simple to use. Quite accurate with monitoring sleep. Minuses: -Slow data update after synching -No direct navigation to particular date -After correcting sleep data "awake" time goes to "0" -Alarm rings even after it's registered that I'm awake
Quite a buggy app. Constantly have to refresh after syncing for activity or sleep data to show on the dashboard. If I try to edit or delete sleep data I always have to save it twice for it to take effect. I tried the Improve Sleep setting, accidentally pressed skip instead of saving my usual sleep hours and now the option has disappeared off the settings menu entirely. Also, if the app registers that I've been asleep all morning with no awake periods, shouldn't it be smart enough to realise that no I haven't taken 32 steps yet today -.- Similarly if I input my own activity, I'm hardly likely to then be tracked as sleeping at the same time. My own inputted walking times don't count towards my daily goals either.
Wearing the older Speedo shine and I like it. It has changed my behavior. I am not perfect but I am now mindful of my activity level. The app helps and I like that I can see progress on the shine without having to synch with my phone. App works ok with myfitnesspal as well.
So far, so good. Activity tracker is stylish and the set up with the app and device is really user friendly. I read other reviews about the battery not lasting long so I bought a back up already just in case. Love the sleep tracking aspect. This is very nice so far.
Forgot my misfit at home, yet what's the point of adding an activity if it doesn't count guard your daily points? You have the option to tag yoga, but again, no points! If I forget my Misfit at home, I don't see why it can't calculate an estimated calorie count/points based an weekly/daily average?????
If you log into misfit using google it works fine but since misfit link will not allow you to log in via google you cant use both apps. If you log out then create a misfit account your misfit device is locked to your google account and as I see it you have to either be happy with 50% functionality or buy a new device. Either route is annoying. Remove misfit google log in or add misfit link google log in or write "for the love of God dont log in via google" in big red letters on the outside of the retail packaging. Any of the above will do fine. It does what it says but if you log in via google it wont do ALL of what it says.
Simply doesn't work. When I try to log in in the Pebble Misfit Settings I get Error Unauthorised client. The Android App says there's no Pebble connected (except there is and no other app has problems). And the watch app says it needs wifi to sync even when I'm connected to wifi. (Using the original Pebble v3.12.3)
For five stars, Why don't you adapt your app with the Sumsung Shealth application. I own a Samsung device and I really love my misfit Shine, so partnering these two applications would help many users like me.I really need it to be synchronized with Samsung Shealth app. Do it please
Very stylish fitness monitor when worn as a watch. Daytime tracking is good keeping track of steps & periods of activity & type like light or high. The issue I have is with sleep tracker & w/ sleep onboarding tried it but didn't work. but not easy for someone who wakes up all night and then goes. Back to sleep.Went back to normal sleep tracking sometimes its not accurate but you can edit sleep but just shows light sleep not restful.Great fitness monitor mist of the time & no charging uses battery.
Somewhat clunky, limited alarms, isn't working well with Virgin pulse app. Be nice if it explained what the lights on my shine device meant
Finally going to toss this piece of crap out the door. Plain ol basic pedometer is 100xs better then this useless junk.
Easy to set up and use. Battery indicator shows full even when batteries are spent, but Customer Service says they're working on it. Very friendly and helpful CS folks. First set of batteries lasted four months, but no telling how long they sat on the shelf... Will see if the fresh set does better. CS will tell you it will depend on user activity level and battery quality.
I upgraded from the original Shine to the Shine 2. Love theses trackers. No need to charge batteries. Just wish the sleep tracker was better tuned & registered if you actually woke up during your sleep.
Love my Misfit device and the app. Sometimes sync is a bit of a problem but it usually corrects itself.
Maybe at some point the watch app and the phone app will match steps and sleep time. Sometimes it is the same and other times 3000 steps off on the phone app after sync.it is still not syncing right with the pebble. I hope maybe they can get the app to work with pebble.
Just randomly stopped recognizing my flash and won't recognize my shine 2 either. Love the device...frustrated with the app!
Syncing has always been a bit hit and miss with my Pebble Steel, but I can no longer sync at all. Have removed and reapplied the phone and watch apps but I get messages saying "unknown" wants access to a list of misfit permissions, "Bad request" from Pebble phone app settings, and "unauthorized".
Really disgusted that I purchased the ray specifically for swimming but find that, in addition to 100$ for the ray, I have to put out more money for an upgrade
I wish that the app showed my streak (number of consecutive days reaching my goal)! Otherwise, it's awesome.
I really like it to help. Keep track of my sleeping habits and steps. It helps motivate me. The other settings are extra perks that makes it fun to use. Really easy to use!
The triple tap still doesn't work after the last update. Up to that point it's a great device.
Doesn't sync properly with pebble devices.
Problems, won't sync with Pebble
I had issues with the first Shine I received and the Misfit company worked quickly to get me a replacement.
Only tracking 50% of my Google Fit step count, even though it's supposed to pulling the data directly from Google Fit.
I love the Ray's minimalist design. The point system and the sleep tracking in the app are great. It's everything I need!
Lacks a lot of functions. I cannot manually enter activities. Cannot track food intake. It is very limited.
Everytime I replace a new device, the speedoapp deactivates!
Can't login in the pebble app. (Unauthorized client)
It works beautifully with my phone and my other fitness apps, like MyFitnessPal.
Simple UI, tracking has improved over the last 2 years.
Easy to use, I like the looks of mine. Helps me be accountable.
Can't sync to my device.
Easy to use and looks good to wear!
