Misfit Link

I have this app to manage my misfit link, which I bought to be a smart button to control physical things and services on my house. The issue is that this app keeps crashing Everytime I open it until I delete it's data or reinstall, and when it opens it looses connection with the link several times a day defeating the purpose of having it on the first place, I would love for it to connect directly to some other service like ifttt and not have to use this app.

Every time I open the app is wants me to sync with the flash. Doesn't even give me the option to search for my ray. Then it tells me to go to the main app to link my ray. All that does is open this app.. ridiculous!

I added my ray through the misfit app yet it does not show up. I honestly really like the idea of the app, but they need to change the bugs that dont allow me to control my music.

This won't even let me log in, I've tried it via Facebook, creating a new account and logging in with my misfit account but nothing. All that happens is the loading circle for ages and then nothing. Not happy with the amount I've spent to have this sort of service.

It is not working. I have emailed them so they'll hopefully get back soon :) now it won't even let me log in anymore :$

Shine 1 does not work with it. Somehow got left out.

I love the misfit Flash but I hate the app. It has frozen on me multiple times and refuses to sync multiple times. Please fix the bugs.

triple tapping the ray only results in it vibrating, regardless of what action I've set up. Music control, ring phone, take a photo, nothing works.

Tried to sign up with the Shine and all i see is a loading sign. I call shenanigans

I work as a manager for the cellular connection. I received a misfit Ray as a gift, and when I took the training on it, it said I could use the Ray as a link. However, your app does not allow that. Lame.

Piece of junk, I was hoping to pair up my device through this app. It still doesn't work. Piece of trash.

So the misfit app tells me to set up in the link app, but the link app tells me that because it's a shine 2 I have to set it up in the misfit app which tells me to set it up in the link app which tells me to...

Bought my second Flash which worked for several days, now I cannot sync. Uninstalled the app but now computer tells me it is linked to another account and therefore I am locked out. Cannot use it.

Im using a HTC Desire android phone.It doesnt click a picture neither does it ring my phone. The regular activity tracker works. Was very excited about the link, but it let me down :(

So, I'll start with the pros of the tracker itself. I purchased the Ray and it looks much nicer than others, the band is insanely sturdy, and it holds a charge for significantly longer. The support was not fast but they were friendly and helpful. Cons: the battery needs to be replaced sooner than reported but that's due to me having it linked to notify me of calls and texts. I suppose I could also say that to sync it you have to open the app but, you have to open it anyway to see the specifics of your day.

Shine 2 help : took me forever to figure out. You can't use Google or Facebook to sign in to either of the misfit apps (main sync one and link to use the smart features​) . Use you email and create an account for both apps rather than signing in auto with Google or Facebook, you might have to sign out and unpair both apps and device to your auto sign in. I don't know why but it worked. After three months of trying and then giving up and trying again this finally worked. Smart functions on triple press like play and pause music are actually awesome!

I've spent hours trying to get this app to work with the £8.49 Misfit swimming lap tracking upgrade I was sold. I've tried everything possible. I've contacted Misfit support who, to be fair, have answered all my queries with instructions but IT DOESN'T WORK!! I love my Misfit Shine as a wearable tracker but my experience with this app to try to enable the lap counter has been nothing but frustration. My question is - Why have the Misfit corporation released an app before it is fully working?

This took me a total of 20 seconds to set up and it WORKS PERFECTLY. It's safer to play/pause/change my music while driving, plus it's just convenient to tap your wrist to control your phone. Whoever commented saying this app doesn't work, is simply uneducated on how to follow directions.. great app, love it keep it up guys!

Just kill me now, it would be less painful. Their answer to all problems is to change the battery. With a new battery, its still to change the battery. It doesn't sync. There are no instructions except Push Button in a hundred languages. You have to figure out for yourself how to use it. To sync you need two different apps, not one, which you aren't told. But both apps cancel the other, not work together. Maybe you actually need seventeen more apps to sync. Who knows since you aren't given any instructions.

One key feature that makes this very hard to figure out: to use this with a Shine 2 you can't log in using Facebook or Google. Sign in with a standalone account in both Misfit and Link and suddenly it all works. Unintuitive and annoying, and should be better documented.

Had the same problem, tried so many times I lost count. Finally decided to delete the app then downloaded it again. Now, it works like a charm. Hope it stays that way. Technology is supposed to make life easier, not complicate it.

Can't play slide show, next/previous ever i tried to connected and disconnected so many time. And now, i can't connect to Link app@@so disappointed

When it's connected, it works great. However, it does freeze on me a couple of times and it would take a while to connect back. I also just updated my Samsung Galaxy S7, and for some reason my Link would not connect anymore.

Absolutely terrible. I've reinstalled Link twice and it still tells me the Ray is stuck in the "connecting" state and basically unresponsive. So, I cannot set up triple tap activity tracking for swimming, which is why I bought this device to begin with. Extremely disappointing. Where is quality control?

Best one of its kind. I was reading reviews and saw, he unistalled and reinstalled and his problem was solved! I thought it could work. And it did! Works great just not sure how to change permissions

Please add the ability to login via Google acct. I logged into the "Misfit" app via the "Sign in with Google" option. My Ray was linked to this account. When trying to login the Misfit Link app you give no option to login via Google, only Facebook. Therefore my Ray device has no way to cross over to the link app.

Took a few tries to get the wireless linking to work. Still can't reprogram the double tap, but triple tap does now make my Bolt lights cycle intensity. I wish the app was as good as my new wearable device (Misfit Ray) and the other Misfit Apps I have tried.

Link seems to not be able to find my Ray when I press edit in Link from the Misfit app... Just says 0 devices found. Why is that? I cannot even see if the app functionalities are what I need. And no help or report issue button on either app...

Every time I turn Bluetooth off and on (e.g. at night) the function stops working. I have to open the app and relink to get it to do anything other than just vibrate. Really not ideal, and Misfit was not able to resolve this. My phone regularly comes up with a message saying that the app failed multiple times and consumed battery.

Very poor user experience as there are absolutely no instructions and because of Misfit's confused branding habits it is difficult to find any resources on it. This app is extremely difficult to use and I have yet to get it to work.

My misfit won't do the things it's linked to do :( I tried to have the "ring my phone" linked but it never works! Please fix your app.

I used Google to sign in to the misfit app when I got it. Apparently I have to make a misfit login to be able to use this at all, but that means losing months of data. STUPID.

Starting to feel like I wasted my money on this damn device because every time I go back into this app, not connected. Try to change button controls, not connected

An amazing app to track your daily activities. Though occasionally there is some problem in syncing the data but works fine most of the time.

I don't understand why there is a need to have to separate apps to run misfit and to use triggers. Seems like it should be just one. I just bought the Misfit Ray and i am disappointed that i can only assign a triple-press to an action. Why not have everything we can do on the cheaper Misfit link available on Misfit Ray? So here is why i am puzzled, i am downloading this app - misfit link - to run only one button, while it consumes lots of battery resources.
