About AVR Fuse Calculator

This fuse calculator for AVR microcontroller supports 144 devices.
You can set the fuse bits manually (supported are low, high and extended fuse) or use predefined settings.
Those features make it very easy to set the fuses. For example, instead of setting the clock bits manually you can just select "Int. RC Osc. 8MHz".

After setting all the fuses, you can see the commandline for AVRDUDE to flash the fuses.

The most used controllers can be set as favorite (click the star in the top right corner). Favorites will always be at the top of the device list and marked blue.

Please report all errors you find (especially default fuse settings). It is really easy (Menu -> Report error) and helps everyone.

I was thrilled to have built my first attiny85 circuit but it was appearing not to function correctly. I realized I did not set it up to use the external 8MHz ceramic oscillator. When I attrmpted an avrdude fuse command suggested on a forum post, I was greated with RC=-1 & RC=-2 for both tiny 45&85 after running that avrdude fuse command.. I tested all physical connections & switched my programmer but this failed to solve the issue. I hope to use AVRFuseCalc to help me figure out what I screwed up. Thanks.

Default fuses for the less capable AVRs may seem a little weird. For example, the ATTiny13's default high fuse is 1F instead of FF. I know that it's the same thing, but it's a bit annoying if you're used to subtracting from FF. Also, there's no lockbit settings! Overall, it's a good app that could be improved. I wanted this app to replace the online ones for me, but it just doesn't do it for me. Sorry!

Takes the pain out of finding fuse bit values, a joy to use! Not quite as capable as the web versions out there. The only improvement I can think of is the ability to enter the fuse values directly and see what settings they correspond to.
