CPU Spy Reborn is based on CPU Spy.
The app shows most common infos about your device and your frequencies stats. Thou some device (most HTC devices) may be officially unsupported (HTC One) and unofficially unsupported due to some HTC kernel info restrictions.
there s always a way to improve ourselves, so if you have any advices I m ready to hear your point of view, the only condition is the way you ask, be honest but above all be kind, sentences too arrogant will just be ignored.
Keep in mind the app is free and ad-free, so I dont earn any money on it, neither if you install nor if you don t.

android.permission.GET_ACCOUNTS
Used to get google+ account, in case we want login with google+, this step is not obligatory, choice to you.
android.permission.INTERNET
Used if we wanna login, or if we wanna share our app contents via MMS, email, social networks. this step is not obligatory, choice to you.
android.permission.USE_CREDENTIALS
Permission to invalidate tokens (for your security) in case you wanna login with google+. this step is not obligatory, choice to you.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used to notify the user that has no internet coverage in case he wanna login with google+. this step is not obligatory, choice to you.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Used to save a local screenshot. This is required if you wanna share stats.
Note: the local image will always be overwritten with the newer to save space. this step is not obligatory, choice to you.
As you can see none of these permissions is used unless you decide to use it, and you by downloading the app are accepting the fact that the app requires these permissions to work in every its feature, so I don t expect people complainting about permissions, but as i said before every advice to improve the app and avoid some permission is welcome.

When i don't sign in, Resetting timers force closes the Application. It doesn't happen on Galaxt S2 Android 4.1. 2 though but it happens in Mi3 MIUIv6 Android 4.4. Once i Sign in it doesn't force close

Why there no option for a slimmer design? CPU spy requires hardly any scrolling to see all frequencies.

I found this app to be simple and reliable.I think it would be a plus if it would integrate monitoring frequency (graphics) multi-core with option to set time (secounds) only when app is open.Thanks for work ! :-)

Thank you developer for following the Android design guideline. Suggestion would be to include a welcome screen to teach user how to pull down to refresh stats - I didn't know how to at first and then accidentally discovered it.

It's a beautifully revamped CPU Spy with a nice looking. However, the integration with Google+ is completely unnecessary, only bloats the app. If you don't intend to make any money with this app why not keep it simple and clean? I don't think a social network has anything to do with a diagnostic tool.

Why the hell does an app like this need to mess with my google+ info. Why does it need to see who my friends are? What next, SSN? Why "draw over other apps"? why do you need that permission? The original app was great (ORIGINAL CPU spy), what you did, is not even clear. You go over detailed explanation of the unimportant permissions, while you ignore intrusive ones. Just code, that's better than insulting users. Edit: please disregard the rude reply from the developer. Some people just don't have manors.

This is similar to CPU Spy Plus (Free) by Giuseppe Baglio, which I used in order to see that my phone wasn't going into "Deep Sleep" at all, but at least it was spending most of its time running at minimal frequency (384 MHz). If you're more of a novice user or you just want to know the Deep Sleep percentage (not the cpu frequencies), Deep Sleep Info by Carsten Mueller is simpler and provides a nice widget that shows this %.

The app is great, however the floating window cannot be deleted from the home screen! I tried the new feature just to see how well it works. It works perfectly, but when I wanted to remove it from the home screen there was no way to do so. I actually had to uninstall and reinstall the app to do so!
