Secret Voice Recorder

It alright I guess. It works and it can be secretly used with screen off if your screen lock is set and only you can unlock it then No one will notice. It stops recording only when i stop the recording myself. Down side is that the icon is not disguised and app lockers always are more Hassel to me than they are worth. I don't want to use app lockers to make the app icon concealed I'd rather it be have the option to customize from a system icon on my device already that I can choose and label myself. So it would blend in but this app so far is not concealed unless you get and use an app locker as far as I can tell. This app is perfect if u have questions your man won't answer because it records without the screen being on and with the screen lock set he will never know it is recording him if he can't unlock your phone

Used it in a couple of situations and its worked like its supposed to. Plain and simple. Still having trouble usong the power button feature but I havent troible shooted it very much either so its most likely user error at this point. Other than that. Its a worthwhile download and can come in very handy in situation that need to he documented verbally.

After initially being impressed with the app I quickly realised it was pointless as the recordings do not save to the phone. I could listen to the audio but couldn't share the media or even transfer the file to my computer. Then after a while the recordings were unable to play. Very unhappy to 1) lose recordings and (2) not be able to share the files.

I was able to use this app to record an exchange with an aggressive co-worker who had cornered me and threatened me outside of the office. Thank you for helping me out of my situation.

Really? Update that includes ads, which were not present. Not cool. Anyway, I have a problem to report. This app sometimes doesn't save the sound. It records it, but it doesn't save it. Can you fix this?

Recorded a meeting with a journalist using this app, as it seemed to be only one that didn't need the screen to be on to record, however I was unable to replay said recording at all, wouldn't waste the 5 seconds it takes to download. Forgot to mention my phone has crashed three times since install, never has before.

Seems to work, but it's not very secret if the app is in the foreground as soon as you unlock the phone. That defeats the object. Stealth mode required, please

The app works very well, but sometimes it starts recording when my Galaxy S7's fingerprint scanner fails. It seems it considers each fail as a power button press.

Shortcut mode doesn't work properly. App starts to record and ends the clip in 1 or 2 seconds.

I trusted this app TWICE. I recorded two different important convos and when i clicked on the app afterwards, it crashed. Hate it. Don't install it.

I've been wandering about some of the folks around me, what they think and feel about me. Are they loyal to me or will they stabbed me in the back as soon as I turn from them. This helps me to record conversations as a back up and feel more secure about things I hear and say. Plus I can sit my app on the counter in one room and be I'm another and hear what went on in there​, whenst I was gone and I can play it back later on... I like it , 3 plus awarded and five stars...Now, here's that other for you guys in development. Why do people have to pay for internet at home, on the go and overnite . Shouldn't it be like one internet that a person can carry with them when they leave the house. Like our net bill is like in the sixties and eighties range, and when we travel or work out of town we have to pay again for data and what not. Shouldn't we be able to pay just one carrier for everywhere and all devices? When we leave our homes no one is there using the damned thing but we still pay. It makes sense to take it with you and use it consistently, no????. Develop an app that does that and I'll buy two from ya...OK

The only thing I don't like, and I am not sure if it is me, my phone, the case or the sensitivity of this program, is that frequently when I adjust the volume it will start recording unexpectedly. Otherwise a great app!

This app asked me to rate it instead of recording when I needed it to. I lost valuable evidence against an abuser. IT DOES NOT RECORD BOTH SIDES OF A PHONE CONVERSATION

Use it to listen to my best time in my life over and over and over .if I want to by pressing the power botton three times to record!! wait for a pulse vibration to idec run in the background . ///..wait for it to vibrant and. open app to double check it's running// ..don't get caught recording.

Trouble in samsung j max.coz in dis ph. There is penic mode which allow emergnce calling whn we press power button 3 tyms.and i can not stop in my device.plz help.

It will NEVER start recording using the 3 tap option. And when I start recording manually it stops when the screen goes dark. Thanks for costing me renewal of my protection orders!!

Needs work Installed but problem is if partner grabs your phone before activating stop the recoding screen is visible when screen unlocked. Needs a record screen hide option please.

Nice app. It gets the job done. I like the way the developers take the time to respond to reviewers. I have one suggestion. Please make an option to customize the number of presses to two or four - that way the last press turns the lock screen off again.

I was not able to record even though after pressing power button 3 times..please help.. I am using samsung galaxy phone

If the phone is off: 3 clicks will light up the screen. If you push the back button to remove the red screen. Recording will stop ! !. Please rectify this and get 5 stars

There should an option to change the name "secret voice recorder". Because anyone can get alert to see its name.

I'm unable to save my lengthy recording.. waste app. I don't know how to get my recordings :(

It would be nice if you update it so when I need to share a voice recording to a message app like messenger. I can. Other than that. I'm pleased with it

I love it you can use it with the screen off and it works like a charm, i wish you could record in a wide room though but the volume is too soft for that. But i love it anyway

Settings are constantly broken, not working as advertized

It's not doing what it's supposed to do.

The recorder records sound by pressing power button three times only when the app is open in the background otherwise it does not record.

If I ever need to make a quick standard note on the run, this works very well.
