Express

A refreshing change from our American media. This seems to present a more balanced presentation on a wider range of issues. Something besides the continuous bashing of the President and his family. There is actually other news in this world...thankfully.

A much more honest paper than the rest. Shame it jumps down the page when reading as this is frustrating. Would be great if there will be a fix for this problem.

There is a problem with this app, also reported by another reader, being that every 20 seconds or so it jumps away from what you are trying to read, making it virtually useless. PLEASE fix this fault Daily Express!! Update: There is an even worse problem with this piece of junk now. Unlike any other app on my reliable and stable Android tablet, it keeps randomly crashing out when reading articles, rendering it unusable. I have tried reinstallation, but it still crashes with a 'stopped working' message.

Keeps crashing and on restart will only show headlines as adds keep trying to load. Get it sorted or on lyrics thing express about it will be its crash speed

Interesting articles, just a shame that it constantly jumps up the page as your reading the article.

This app continually interjects Express quizzes in reading articles. Not worth the effort of downloading! Only awarded 1 star to be able to say how useless it is. Ad's I understand but making news illegible is something new. Used to buy the printed version years ago but wouldn't use it to hang in the little room today!

Clunky and so so slow. Good content when it does finally load. I have a strong 4 G signal and it stills bumps along the bottom. Ads seem to be blocking articles. Return key slow to respond. Another app for the uninstall bin. Rubbish.

Just crashes all the time. After the first crash you go back to the news story you were on and it won't load unless you shut it down and open it again. For goodness sake express sort it out. It's ridiculous.

Uninstalled after reading the absurd articles about Jeremy Corbyn. Lying and exaggerating. Obviously, The Express was never going to be an intellectual read, but I like to have several news sources to see different political angles. I want news not Facebook gossip.

This app would be great if it wasnt for the ads making the screen move.. Also another big issue is that i can only read up to a ceratin time frame. I would like to see previous news to catch up its really frustrating being only to scroll down to news thats happening now or hours within

Great if you want to read the ads. Your just starting to read a story when suddenly your looking at an advertisement for something youve been looking at online. So you scroll back to your story and Bam.. it happens again. In a nutshell, its impossible to read a story because the app keeps jumping to ads. Ive got so fed up with it constantly jumping that I just read it on fast news instead. Come daily express sort it out.

Good reporting but that is let down by the app. Too many adds and it often crashes, or at least slows down or stops my phone. Please fix this app as the content is is excellent.

Much prefer the Express newspaper as it makes a change not to have left-wing views pushed down my throat from the likes of the BBC, Sky & some tabloids. However, the Express app requires a serious makeover. It's ill thought out, uncontrollably jumps about, doesn't exit properly, the Android 'back' button doesn't work (using Android /Samsung S7) and it's just FULL of adverts that make reading a page/scrolling almost impossible without inadvertently opening some rubbish. If it doesn't change soon, I will be de installing.

Too clunky. Articles almost unreadable because it jumps back to the beginning all the time (ads??)... also reloads again after closing... very poor, needs a lot of work. Uninstalled...

I would love to give it more stars, it has improved, but it will not automatically revolve to view and to few articles per screen. It puts large photos up instead. Keep working on it please.

Rubbish not like any other news paper. You can't use back and very difficult to exit

Please sack your app designer or get proper testers. The articles keep jump scrolling around (I'm guessing it's caused by advert refreshes) so it's impossible to read an article, the back button doesn't work (seriously it's a android basic), sometimes articles don't load (you have to close and reopen), and now the sudoku keeps auto saving (great you would think but as the icons don't fit properly it pushes everything down so as you are playing the screen keeps jerking up then down). Your a national newspaper, come on

This app is very informative and authentic without bais and fake news. It greatly helps me know real things heppening in political arena of the west

WILL CHANGE MY REVIEW ONCE THIS IS FIXED: There is a terrible issue with the page scroll position being adjusted periodically while I read news articles. This is awfully annoying and can occur several times while reading a single article. I believe this is as a result of adverts changing periodically as you read but if you cannot figure out how to change adverts without ruining the experience for your readers then just stop.

Horrible app that keeps jumping as you try to read it!!! My suggestion is dump the active ads!

App has suddenly become very aggressive, opening up by itself and sending unsolicited news updates - with no way of stopping them.

Used to use the Daily Mail on line. Much prefer this app.

Would be great but for the constantly shifting content. Sometimes it's impossible to read an article because the writing shifts up and down with the adverts.

Just like the newspaper, absolute dross. If you're over 65 and obsessed by Diana, long-range British weather forecasts with headlines that NEVER come true, or Brexit, this is the app for you!!

After 2 minutes selected page still not loaded, tried reinstalling but not joy, advertising loads quickly so it can be done, needs a lot of work to make this an acceptable app

Not bad, just slow and clunky. Articles don't always load up despite being on WiFi​ or on 4G.

Could have been a good app but unreadable as it jumps back to adverts while reading an article, I get that the ads keep apps like this free but they should not force u bk once u have passed them!!

Next to useless. By the time itd ownloads the news is out of date and its is getting slower. Trying to access it is now almost pointless.

The app is slow to start, navigate around and constantly jumps whilst still reading. Needs to be massively improved.

Just very slow and unresponsive, even on a high-end phone. It's faster to visit their website.

Good content and a lot better than DM. Biggest problem I find is when reading a long article it constantly jumps back to the advert near the top of the page which makes it unreadable.

Fed up with notifications, cant turn off. Never asked for them.

It's the screen jump that is annoying, otherwise 5 stars for content.

I used to like this app but now find that when I'm reading a article it just jumps up the page constantly to show adverts making you scroll around to find your place. I've had enough so uninstalling to make way for another news paper. Bye
