The app is poor. UI is clumsy. Connection drops out causing loud beeps from the lamp. All automated settings have to be turned back on daily. Alarm feature is not easy to turn off when woken and trying to deactivate. Needs a lot of work to live up to the great product. *Edit* No music from any device now. I will be seeking a refund for the useless lamp.

Connection can be bad at times and I'm sad to see a lack of widgets to control the light itself. Music player built in is clunky and quite useless. The playbulb itself is a nice product though.

Lightbulb isn't compatible with the app??? Just says "no devices found" I've used at least 4 different devices with the app, none work. Bluetooth playback works but if that's all i wanted, I would have just purchased a speaker...

Light and Bluetooth streamed music worked great for the first month...now only the light works. It says it's paired...but isn't working. I tried to do a factory reset from the app, but the only function that works is renaming the playbulb.....very frustrating because it was so Damn expensive!!!

To everyone who seem to be having a problem with the music. I too was not able to get it to work at first. This is what I did. I first turned on the light, I went into my bluetooth setting, there you will see the playbulb. Pair it, you will know that it work because you will hear a bell. Then go into the playbulb app, and connect from there. Also you'd will not work if your on android 4.2

It simply doesn't work, can't detect my lamp. Sound plays but what's the point if you can't control the light? Xperia z5 premium and galaxy s6 edge. :(

What people need to do is manually connect their bluetooth on their phones before opening the app. I am able to play music via Spotify, YouTube and mp3 files on my Note 3. I would suggest people follow the correct instructions before slating this product and app!!

App doesn't seem to be able to find the bulb. However if I don't use the app and just use android bluetooth settings I am able to connect to the bulb and stream music.

I'm not able to activate the speakers.

But the app doesn't show the bulb with any available setting. Any tips to make the bulb available?

I can control the light but it wont play music and i have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 the newest galaxy and it dont work? Come on send a fix cause this bulb was a waste of $80

I can control the light and the audio with no problems, i even tried 3rd party audio apps and it's working just fine , How ever there is something that's very annoying when ever i connect to it there is a loud beeping sound that i can't turn it off in the preferences please give us the option to turn it off !

Don't be stupid you have to go in to your Bluetooth settings and activate the sound working perfect for me

Bought 2 MIPOW bulbs just to discover that I can't control. Bulb must stay always on, and I can stream music via spotify. Would like software to work. Nexus 5.

TOTAL CRAP...Phone pairs with bulb but app doesn't see the bulb....Wasted money on a device thats not fit for purpose... with make sure every frum I can find has a thread about this useless device

No connection Keeps crashing when open the link. I payed alot for the bulb and you cant even get the app to work properly.

This app works really well with my HTC one M8, I'm very happy with it apart from the equalizer which doesn't have any specific controls, if it had this I would give it 5 stars

Wery poor music player, can't see artist and albums. Can't see all my info like in normal music player. Please upgrade it.

Yhe connection is great even if I'm outside the house and the speaker is inside still playing! Great app.

ISNT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!! Light worked straight away. No music. Cant use FACTORY RESET. Click CONNECT button nothing happens. I'm using Samsung S4. Brother has same issues Iphone 5C. not a happy customer !! Will be returning product for full refund !!

Wish I could set up day specific wake up, and have it repeat on those days instead of manually turning it on again every time, after wake up activates
