Package Tracker Pro for Android
Does not work in Android 8.x Reports to the dev have been ignored. Pro, paid version - reports of problem for many weeks have not been addressed. Do not use if you're running Oreo
I don't know what I would do without this app. it tracks all my package deliveries in one place and helps me to keep track of where they're coming to - my Post Office Box or my front door.
Great app! Hasn't been updated in about a year but still works perfectly with Android 8.1 Oreo!
Used to be great, but has really gone downhill. Developer doesn't seem to be actively supporting (updating). Last update was 2016, and it was one minor change.
Doesn't give package updates most of the time, used to be a good app but can't rely on it anymore. Last update was July 2016, wonder if developer abandoned app, a paid app should be kept up to date!
Why can't I find ChinaPost. This is also an important to have within the app. I have 3 things shipping that need tracking from ChinaPost and now I can't. Please fix.
Good app. Mostly works. Has some problems, like not updating when ask for a manual update. Most options for China shipping not available.
Needs some work. It hangs up sometimes on the refresh and notifications
I've used EVERY tracking app on Android. This one far and away is the best WHERE IT COUNTS. Tells you everything there is to know. When package updates are made on shippers individual tracking sites, the changes are damn near instantaneous on this...Most other apps take a day or more to get updates. The one inexcusable problem, on the competitions apps, you enter the tracking number, it detects which shipper. This one you have to know already to enter. It can't detect by tracking number and it should. Needs Widget. THE APPEARANCE AND DESIGN NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY SCRAPPED. ITS UGLY & POORLY DESIGNED. After packages arrive there is no archive, you just end up with on giant mess on display when you go to look for next one's. Like I said IT WORKS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER....But it's UGLIER THAN ANY OTHER
It's still pretty good but hasn't seen an update for over a year so it may be discontinued. A number of newer carriers are missing (some used by Amazon sellers) so a second tracking app must be used as well. It's too bad, this one used to be the best but I may have to switch.
I use the website a lot to add packages and sync to app. Make sure your settings are correct. I have no issues with updates or notifications. However UPS stopped tracking all together. This app is getting buggy though, I hope they fix it.
This app used to be great. Carrier config lets you hide specific carriers, but some still show up in the list after removal. Will be moving on if the app isn't fixed soon.
Used to be the best package tracker around, and I even bought the pro version. Unfortunately, tracking is broken now and thus this app is completely useless.
Just not working as it used to work, I've used this app for many years, that's why i bought it, but it's almost useless nowdays. It need big improvements.
Long time user, but this app is beginning to have issues for me. Does not appear to update as scheduled and often gives me multiple (erroneous) notifications for no reason. Still a relatively good app, but it used to be better.
This app is the best tracking app and links to carrier website which is a huge feature. However, its by far the UGLIEST user interface in all of Google Play. Very unpleasant to look at.
I loved this app for a few years, but now it is awful about not giving updates unless refreshed constantly and sometimes not at all. I had to uninstall it because it is draining 5% of my battery every day even though I haven't used it in months and have no packages entered.
I don't know how you can give this one anything other than a 5-Star. It's accurate, efficient, and no-nonsense. I couldn't care less that the interface isn't flashy... what matters is that it makes my life easier. I use it almost every day to track both incoming and outgoing shipments. I can roll to a job knowing the parts are there waiting for me and I can easily scan the return label and avoid arguments over the whereabouts of defective components.
Not as good as it used to be. Recently, the app often could NOT connect to the carriers. Many foreign-to-the-US carriers such as China Post, Yanwen, Malaysia Post... are not supported. The app sometimes froze, too. The tracking's sometimes were well behind real time status. Very often it was extremely slow or failed to connect. I paid for this app but now I am using the free AfterShip app which is superior.
Have had it for many years, still working fine. Only issue lately is not being able to change the default notification from silent mode to anything else. Runs very good on my current Moto X and previous Droids.
Customize carrier list not working correctly popup menu is in bottom right corner instead of center after update. also to small not showing entire menu, have to scroll to see all the options. and oddly pop up menu varies in size depending on which package is selected when track more then one package
This app is beginning to show significant issues. Quite consistently, the app will not show the current status of packages even after manually refreshing. This occurs for every delivery service. It's a shame because this has been my main package tracking app for over 5 years. I've had to move on to Parcel Track & while a good app, this was much more simple for my use.
**EDIT** Something is really not working right anymore. The updates will either fail, say the item doesn't exist (even though the last status had full details) or it won't send a notification of a package change. I've reverted to using the shipping company site pages etc but this USED to be a great app :( I've been using this app for quite a while and it's still the #1 tracker app IMO. I do have a small feature request: can you add support to have notifications go to a Pebble smart watch? Emails work to but native support would be awesome :)
A lot of times the status is broken.. shows as empty, no data. Check carrier site and there are updates not shown on app. Begin search for alternatives. Too bad I paid for pro version.
09/04/16 Edit:As others have said the app is no longer tracking as it should and they removed some carriers that I use the main one being China Post / found no better app to do what this application does.
Update: 3 stars. The app has slowed down the updates and many times it can't find a package that was updated an hour earlier. It WAS a great app for anybody who ships or receives multiple packages and wants to follow their status. I don't know why it doesn't work as well as it did in the past.
I loved this app for a few years, but now it is awful about not giving updates unless refreshed constantly and sometimes not at all. I had to uninstall it because it is draining 5% of my battery every day even though I haven't used it in months and have no packages entered.
Became not stable .... Adding distribution list instead of single mail to get notification... Design needs more improvements also maps is not working.... But generally it worth
My only complaint is I seem to get multiple notifications for the same update of package movement even after checking them. Other then that it's works as it should.
Great ap for my needs. Let's me check on deliveries while at work or where ever. The price was definitely worth the peace of mind. EDIT, 9-7-16: Doesn't work at all anymore! Please fix! 4 Hours Later: Wow, that was fast! All fixed now. Thanks!!!!!!
And again the app didn't notify me until 3 hours later my packages were in. Got them at 1:15 pm your app went off at 4:03 pm. To say they were delivered. My packages can't sit out in the heat/cold for long. I order live feeder insects for my reptile company. Time to unistall this app and just stick.to the basic free usps text app. 5 minutes after the mailman handed me my large package. I got a text.from usps letting me know they arrived. Not like this app 3 hours later
Quickly see progress of packages, pretty sweet. Only tiny thing I'd think could improve it is if it parsed the delivery company from the tracking number, but that isn't a huge deal.
Wish it had a Windows Store app so I could check it on Windows 10 PC. The web feature is ultra lame, doesn't have a similar interface, it's merely a place for dropping your numbers; but can take you to the shipping company tracking page.
Sometimes server goes down, otherwise good app. Would like to see it auto detect delivery service when taking number is entered.
I've used a couple over the years but I always come back to this one that I first used on moto droid. It works, works well and I have no complaints.
Seems to have become less than ideal now. Stops and crashes everytime I try to use it.
Simple, clean, no blot. Tells you exactly what you want to know. And notifies you when the status of the package has changed. With archive capability you can research old packages.
Lately, tracking results are not always available especially USPS. Getting progressively worse.
Easy to use. Sometimes clunky when bar code scanning in multiple packages, but I haven't used anything else better.

Do not purchase the pro version. It has NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE JULY 2016. It has some glitches also. I requested a refund. If I get it, I'll change my review. Check back in 3 days.
