About Minnowe - Cloud Based IOUs
Minnowe is a simple, free, cloud based way to track expenses with your friends. Submit and view entries directly from your Android device, or from any web browser via our website, www.minnowe.com. Now with PayPal integration!

Use the Pick the Payer feature to decide who's turn it is to pay for lunch. Our algorithm will choose the person who will reduce the overall debt of the group the most.
PayPal integration:
Now you can instantly pay people back from within Minnowe using your PayPal account. (PayPal instituted $500 weekly limit in transactions applies)
Debt Sweeps:
Sweep away debts among friends easily using our algorithm that minimizes the debt of the group.

Permissions explained:
Network communication (full internet access) - used to connect to our database for storing and retrieving your entry data.
Network communication (view network state) - allows for improved connectivity and reliability.
Your personal information (read call log, read your contacts) - used when adding new friends via user's address book as well as grabbing thumbnail photos for friend list.
Phone calls (read phone status and identity) - needed by the PayPal MPL API

I just downloaded the app and started to use it. I noticed a couple of things: 1. Once you sign up for an account, it no longer allows you to enter information manually. Meaning you now have to use the cloud service. What happens when I do not have internet service? 2. Unable to change the date of transactions 3. When I signed up, it automatically sent an invite to my friends to join. It did not give me the option to send the invite myself.

Very quick and easy to use. Great that you can test it out locally before creating an account. Wish you could access account settings in the app an remove friends though.
