What are users saying about AlarmPad - Alarm Clock Free

E70%
by E####:

The design is beautiful, the alarm clock is great BUT the event calendar won't give me the option to set a date. Very frustrating. No point boasting about features if they don't work.

C70%
by C####:

After the last few updates, the app kept saying "invalid ringtone" and default back to same standard tone when I was always able to choose any one from my device with previous versions. Maybe it's Marshmallow but when I looked in Settings at Permissions- only Calandar and Location were granted. I turned on Storage permission and now it works with any ringtone I choose from my device. Thanks Alarm Pad developers for your solution email!

O70%
by O####:

The ringtone Pack is a basic feature. I cannot be up to pay. In this way I can't test the app and later decide if I like it.

M70%
by M####:

The memo portion as well as the ability to set multiple alarms and personalize them by color or activity is great

T70%
by T####:

The only thing I'd change is if different alarms could have different snooze times.

Q70%
by Q####:

Used to be more stable, but crashes time to time lately :(

M70%
by M####:

Full Blown SuperNova

M70%
by M####:

Can no longer set a ring tone that will wake me up. No matter what I choose to set, the app reverts back to only 1 ring tone. No longer useful.

M70%
by M####:

Almost everything I want and one feature I want it mentions having but doesn't work: sounding alarm during silent mode. I have "respect silent mode" unchecked plus I allow priority interruptions during silent mode in settings and have alarms set to be a priority interruption. Would like to be able to do this.

M70%
by M####:

I really like the app. It does what it s supposed to do except it doesn't sound when the phone is on DND. It should have the option to break through that. I use DND for notices and phone calls mostly but I do need alarms to ring. Other than that, it's a good piece of software. I have different alarm tones for different events (I like that) at different reminder times. I set 2 reminder times (45 mins etc.) and one 30 mins to tell me to get going! Just let it break through DND and it will be perfect. It does need a bit of tutorial on concept too. I didn't find it quite as intuitive as I would have liked and sometimes I get lost setting it up.

M70%
by M####:

This app works great along with a Tasker plugin to set modes on my Smart Things home automation system. When I set an alarm my house goes to sleep, and when I turn off an alarm it wakes up.

M70%
by M####:

Used to work perfectly until the most recent update for marshmallow. Now it does not work for lollipop anymore. I'll reserve a better review for when they fix this but it's basically useless now

M70%
by M####:

Does not work. Nexus 5X, android 6.0.1, no alarm ever if I haven't used the phone in the last 10 minutes. I guess the Power Save mode is the issue, but I won't disable it for a single app, and I can't believe the Android SDK does not provide any hooks to wake up the phone at a given time. I would ask for a refund but my alarms where more than 2H in the future. Too late. Don't buy or test immediately. + the UI does not show a "next alarm+skip it" in the notification bar which makes it annoying for time-boxing.

M70%
by M####:

This is an awesome app. It's a calendar that talks to you and has a huge variety of tones. This app saves me from forgetting any time of day once I've set it up

F70%
by F####:

Searched an alarm app with good Tasker integration. Going to try this from now on, the tests I did so far worked great!

M70%
by M####:

Maybe good app for some one but not me. The ONE option I need for alarm app, stop when I said "STOP" or snooze when I said "snooze". I dont need my device say any words, just listen and do conform my command.

M70%
by M####:

Ever since updated from kit kat to lollipop, it doesn't work.

M70%
by M####:

Loved this app for its calendar integration, etc. After most recent update it goes off and I can't dismiss, stops responding. Also the "home" page is just blank. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still no luck. Please fix it so those of us without marshmallow can still use it!

V70%
by V####:

With a message on my screen saying alarm pad had stopped responding. I'm glad my employer is understanding, and that I have an otherwise good record on punctuality. I like the features of this app but I hope today was just a fluke and not an indicator of its overall reliability.

M70%
by M####:

I've had AlarmPad for awhile. Works great with tasker and I love the NFC tag options. HOWEVER, recently it will randomly stop sounding the alarm without me dismissing it. I can't figure out why, but it's made me late a couple of times so I'm questioning it's usefulness. UPDATE: snooze not working anymore. Want a refund on pro key. Absolutely useless.

T70%
by T####:

Doesn't work. It detects events on my calendar, but there is no option to sync alarms with those events. Both in the S Planner and the AlarmPad. I'd change to 5 stars otherwise because it's a clever and beautiful app. Too bad :(

Q70%
by Q####:

Since the update, at least 1 of my 2 alarms does not trigger once or twice a week. Last day I used it, both alarms failed. I woke up earlier and saw that my phone was telling me that the alarm was set but it never triggered. I looked again after it should have triggered and it was showing that the next one was set... never triggered. I wrote to the support address and never got an answer.

G70%
by G####:

I like UI but uninstalled this app because of Advertise. it's so much annoying in such standard level app.

I70%
by I####:

Stay away from this! The alarms move time when you cross timezones! Why!?! They act like calendar appointments which is just dumb! Not a single reply from the dev for 3 weeks!!! In addition to this the developer has announce he is no longer supporting any of his apps and they will be removed from here soon! Check out his Plus pages... DO NOT buy any of his apps!!!

M70%
by M####:

Absolutely awesome app does what it says in description

K70%
by K####:

Got the pro version free from AppOfTheDay. Installed it on a new phone and now I have the standard free version with annoying ads and restrictions. Contacted the owner, no reply. Also the digital time widget takes way too much space (the bottom half is empty space but can't be resized without making the time font small)

M70%
by M####:

nicely designed and very good performance and Integration with Tasker is awesome.

V70%
by V####:

Good job, folks that made this! I use it every day and I have never had a single problem. Well done! Thanks again!

M70%
by M####:

Needed an Alarm to go off every 2 hours. Wish you could set it at different intervals though.

M70%
by M####:

Non like it.It is a superb app. However, the function "speak message after alarm" is not functioning. But all the same, thanks.

M70%
by M####:

Beautiful app, but for an alarm clock, this app has, too many times committed the worst possible sin for an alarm clock - failure to alarm at the set time, even for a repeating alarm. It works once but failed to alarm the next time.

Q70%
by Q####:

I have tried several other alarm clock apps but in my opinion this is the best alarm clock app.

R70%

Some of the layouts aren't spaced well enough to read properly. Top through the material design spec once and fix the visual issues

P70%

This is a great app! I like being able to set alarms by date.

Awesome

M70%

Used to be a solid alarm app. Now it has lots of bugs for basic usage. Most of the features are over done. Current version and the last that I was on wouldn't let me change the time of an alarm. Kept telling me to enter a time between 2am and 1:59am. Other issue I saw last week was the app would just lockup. Had to kill it s few times. I need more reliability, and less features. I also don't feel an alarm needs so many system privileges.

M70%
by M####:

Prior to the latest update I could use the "continue playing after dismiss" option, then after dismissing the alarm I could kill the music from the notification. Now there is no option to end music from the notification. Other than that 10/10
