Escali SmartConnect™ helps you create a food journal, analyze nutrition information, as well as track your weight, BMI and body composition. Use the Escali SmartConnect™ Kitchen Scale and Body Scale to send wireless measurements to mobile device via Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
CREATE A FOOD JOURNAL

For a scale that does so much, I am disappointed with this app. I can't get it to connect with my Samsung Galaxy S4 so I have to manually enter all of my information.

Have to connect to scale every time you use it. Up3 on android doesn't work with scale. Won't connect to the UP app. Waste of money buying a scale UP recommends for their product and it doesn't work.

Does work with Android. Minimal features if you're using the body scale. Only works with Jawbone UP for iOS. Android integration for UP is supposed to be coming, but seeing as it's been a year since the last update of this app, I think that's vaporware at this point, and won't happen. How hard can that really be?

Kept getting E1 error when trying to pair. Mine and my dog's Bluetooth activity trackers were interfering. I put them in another room and the scale showed up on my bluetooth list on the phone. I selected it and now I'm paired and good to go!

It's buggy at times when selecting certain measurements with some of the food items. Also, need a larger database for alot of ethnic foods here. It's still missing alot of things. What might be helpful is if the users are given the option to input the ingredient manually as not all ingredients are made the same way and would be able to save the new entries. I understand it takes time to have the updates. This doesn't justify the price. Please improve it soon!

Well after months and months of waiting, Bluetooth connectivity is finally up and running on Android, so now I just don't have an expensive basic scale, so we're moving in the right direction, but I would love to see the food choices expanded, as well as the ability to be able to scan barcodes to look up foods, and be able to link up to certain other fitness apps. Still has quite a ways to go, but it has potential

My wife and I received this as a wedding present back in May only to find out that it was not Android compatible, something that is conveniently omitted from the outer packaging for the product but offers the familiar icon stating, "Android App on Google Play". Pretty misleading. After checking their website, we found out that Android compatibility was coming in spring 2014. No big deal, I can wait a month or so. It's now July and still nothing. New update on 6/27 still offers no fix.

I have a Galaxy s4, scale doesn't connect to the Bluetooth and food journal entrie keywords shouldn't need to be so specific in order to find item, also needs more food options. Why even buy the scale if I had to enter everything manually?
