About Days Since

Do you have a terrible memory? Have trouble Getting Things Done (GTD)? Can’t remember the last time you de-fleaed the cat? Or met up with a long distance mate? When did you last have the oil changed in the car?

Don't use your brain to remember when you last did something! Use that for more useful things like creating cool new music, or really hard maths. Use DaysSince to remind you of all the boring stuff!

DaysSince keeps a track of when you last did an event. Add an event, add a warning time, and it will remind you about it. The simple interface shows you a list of all the events and the number of days since you last did them. Each time you do the event just hit the reset button and you’ll always know when you last did it! All this and it will synchronise across all devices and backup to the cloud; without an advert in site.

DaysSince Features: -

Synchronised events. (This is why the permissions are needed) DaysSince uses your Google calendar to store the event data, meaning it’s always synchronised across all your devices. Hit reset on your phone, and your tablet will reflect the current data. You can also view your events online at https://www.google.com/calendar/.

Notifications. Setup a warning time for each event. The notifications will remind you (but not too much) that you have events which have reached their limits.

Simple easy to use interface. Click add to add, click the reset button (the blue one with the number of days on it) to reset. Couldn't be simpler.

Statistics. It keeps a track of the past resets and gives you a basic breakdown of data. Number of resets, shortest, longest and average.

Multiple calendars. DaysSince can use any accessible writeable Google calendar. You can create a new calendar just for DaysSince. DaysSince can switch between different calendars. Unfortunately DaysSince can’t create the calendar for you (may come in a later release). Create a new calendar online at https://www.google.com/calendar/ and you will be able to choose it (once synchronised) on your device.

New feature - Categories. Keep your events grouped for easier management, and all your warnings in one place.

Features soon to be available in Days Since: -

Widget. Use the DaysSince widget on your home screen to keep your data front and center.

Tablet specific layout.

My only gripe is the widget is never realized.

G70%

Keeps track of the days since!

H70%

Thanks for the additional update. It now works again! Not sure about the new layout but I will probably get use to it. A great app and very useful.

X70%
by X####:

Gets better each update. Good app

K70%
by K####:

Generally a great idea. I love that it syncs with Google calendar. But it's such a pity that there is no sort order for events! We should be able to choose whether to sort by a) longest time elapsed, or b) next due alarm. This would hugely increase the effectiveness of the app.

C70%
by C####:

Other then that I could only criticise the UI (due to beeing a designer).

U70%
by U####:

Works well, especially as it's backed up using Google Calendar. Wish it would have a separate column it toggle to show in year/month also not just days

T70%
by T####:

Good that I can monitor more than 1 event. It would be better if the Days could be converted to Year, Months, Day for longer event such as projects.

U70%
by U####:

Crashes upon opening, deleted re installed same thing

U70%

Just add material design and all its glorious animations.

Great app

Q70%

Bad

N70%
by N####:

If only there was a way to change date without going into my calendar...and maybe a widget...but honestly perfect beyond that!.

N70%
by N####:

It just need widget. Check Days-- app for an example. But i like yours more because you can set a time warning and can backup to a Google calendar, which is really nice.

N70%
by N####:

Does the job almost perfect! The possibility of sharing list using the calendar is genius, but it was not obvious how to do it.. A possibility to view multiple calendars at the same time would be nice too..

N70%
by N####:

just what I needed (tho I would like the option to disable time & just use date).

C70%
by C####:

-1 star coz the widget is never realized

N70%
by N####:

I loved it until it just completely stopped functioning. Nothing works on it at all now.

Q70%
by Q####:

"Oh no! That's rubbish." as per MiN. That's exactly what I thought about this app. After an update only 2 entries were left including the entries in my google calender vanished. I only use 1 google calendar & why would I delete these very important entries? No solution to recover the deleted entries?

N70%
by N####:

Does exactly what I need, fully customizable reset dates are especially nice.

N70%
by N####:

Testei vários, e este app foi o melhor na categoria de contador de dias passados e restantes. Recomendo!

N70%
by N####:

I cant even add an event

N70%
by N####:

It crashed on me.

N70%
by N####:

Wish it had a dashclock extension. Would pay for that.

N70%

I can't believe this app only has so few users and reviews! It is well and beatiful designed, no ads, intuitive interface, keeps all your data backed-up in your personal calendar, keeps statistics of your day resets and more! Only thing missing is to rename existing events. But you could also do that from your calendar.

N70%
by N####:

I love the interface, but i'm surprised that there is no option to set custom dates (past events)

G70%
by G####:

Unique app, best out there. Maybe a new icon would be ideal (people buy on beautiful icons)

W70%
by W####:

Keeps force closing .

Y70%
by Y####:

Whether or not your memory is sketchy, this app is very helpful allowing you to not have to keep many dates in your mind. When you need the information, it's right there. And, if you have the best memory of everyone you know, then you have the opportunity to suggest this great app to them.

Changing water is something that is hard to remember. Now we can collectively take responsibility in the family.

I wish the program was more customisable: I would like to be able to switch off the statistics as I only need to know the last done & the next due of an event.

G70%
by G####:

Came across this on a reddit thread =]

E70%
by E####:

Great app! Exactly what I needed, but the widget would make it so much better. I use it to track when I last had a soda, or any fast food. That widget on the home screen would only push me that much further!

M70%
by M####:

there seems to be a bug with the app where the displayed date is 1 day before the last reset date. This app is very simple and great for keeping track of days. The syncing to google calendar is also great. I wish it had options or tabs for categorizing events into groups such as personal, work, anniversaries etc.
