Go Via Trip Route Planner Lite

How often have you been enroute to a party, dinner or barbeque and realised you have forgotten to buy a gift, a bottle of wine, steak or dessert? Perhaps you need money from an ATM? It's always difficult to find the right place along the way that is not far from your route.

Go Via ulitilises the power of Google Maps and Google Places API to help you find the closest place to your route so you waste less time.

Go Via allows you to plan your trip or route from your location or another specified location. You can then choose the type of business or place of interest from a list and enter the distance from the route you are willing travel to get to your place.

A map will show your trip and your chosen places of interest within the radius of the route.

This is the functionality of the Lite version. More is available with 'Go Via Trip Route Planner' Full version.

With the full version, all the places are also shown within a list which includes the distance from the route so you can find the closest place and waste less time. The search function at the top of this page allows you to search the list for a specified place, such as Westpac Bank for ATMs.

By clicking on the place marker, details such as the name of the business, address, phone number and website are also provided so you can ensure the business is open. You can then get directions to the place directly from that page.

You can also navigate through the route by clicking the forward or back arrows either side of the 'Directions List' button on the Maps page.
