Launch Sites

Used it for the first time last week. it was great to just go out and check out some launch sites. Sure some weren't the best... but that's not the apps fault. However it was a wealth of new possibilities to explore.

I've added sites to this app only to see them disappear. I'm wondering if other users have seen this behavior.

Great app. Saves the headache of looking at state DNR websites and combing maps. It's all here.

What a waste of time. Pick a site and then take 10 minutes plotting your course. Easier to just look up launch sites in your area from internet and use Google maps.

Had some initial issues trying to post but after emailing the programmer, I got it to work. Operator error on my part. Really loving the app. A must for all kayakers!

Very useful app. I just bought a Kayak for myself and was looking for ponds and lakes nearby where I could do some paddling. To my surprise, this app showed me a pond less than 15 minutes from my place!

I live in Delaware so I can only speak to this state but about 60% of the well known launch sites do not appear in this app.

I like it, but I wish I could move the places I set or delete them, because they didn't land where they were supposed to. If you could delete all in my account and I could just start over

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't figure out why it won't let me add a new spot. I filled in all the requirements but the continue box is greyed out

Wants way too much information before allowing you to view launch sites. Map is very touchy. Uninstalled.

This is so easy to use and helpful. One suggestion: don't make image captions and descriptions compulsory. Then more people may be inclined to submit photos of launch spots. Thank you!!!

Froze first time I used it, lags, maps don't load and the absolute BEST...if zoomed in even a bit the pins stay pretty centered on screen as you swipe around the map. As opposed to actually remaining on the spot / launch site they're supposed to represent. Hard to describe but suffice it to say this app is crap (on my device) and I uninstalled right away. Too bad....it had potential.

App keeps crashing ! Waste of a good idea if you can't use it

I have not had any issues on my Samsung Note 4. In the first few seconds looking at the map I found a launch point that is a mile away from my house that I never knew existed. So far I like the app.

Currently DEAD? EXTREMELY SLOW online-only database retrieval. Un-Responsive map selection. Launch site data needs refining and simplifying - Its so laborious to read and edit it's a MASSIVELY negative experience to be honest. Please can you update this app, its been nearly 2.5 years since an update. Crowd fund it, do something!

First off, thank you for taking all the time necessary to develop this extensive app and then managing to offer it free! The latest version (2.0) is great and I'm busy adding sites and will be adding pictures for a while. Once again, thank you and excellent job!

Great app when it works for some reason it forecloses allot. But when it works it's great

It wouldn't let me log on my paddle. Net account!!!

For a free app that lets you access the paddling dot net map, it will do. Just don't be in a hurry to get the cooedinates. Also it refuses to let me login.

Buggy & Incomplete but Good Start

This app is so inaccurate it already has it doesn't have the names of anything right doesn't have the facilities are right it doesn't happen launch permits are right it doesn't have anything right

I like the option to create a list of launch sites. only reason I didn't rate it 5 ☆ is because I can't create an account thus unable to log favorite launch sites.

Like this app on a PC. On a Note 2, A412, it crashes constantly and won't open sites or allow placing new ones. Too bad. Paddling. Net usually does workable and useful stuff. Uninstalling.

The map is too sensitive when zoomed in. A simple twitch sends you half way across the state. It makes it incredibly hard to explore an area for a launch site. If this is rectified, I'm sure this would be extremely useful.
