SMS Text Messaging from Tablet

Update: Whenever a smiley face is sent or received on my Samsung Table A (2016) running marshmallow, no words are displayed, you only see the smiley face. Original: While receiving notifications of incoming texts can be useful, why would I ever want to receive a notification when I end a call, when I already know that, because, well, I made the call! There should at least be an option that allows me to choose what events I want to be notified of, but alas, there isn't - there is only one notification setting for all events!

This app works flawlessly. Highly recommend to any tablet user looking to link phone and tablet. No major setup issues. Works likeyou expect it to. Great job on development. Update: I loved this app for a while. Then the developers seemed to want to rip users off. New updates wouldn't' allow you to access your contact list unless you pay $5 a month. What a rip off!

This APP is the reason I no longer ever want to own an Apple Phone or Tablet. Makes my life so much easier. I keep my phone in my purse all day and just use the app to text. The app is easy to use and also integrates with GMail and Chrome. This app is even worth the yearly fee if you upgrade to the full featured version on your desktop computer.

This is fantastic! The app is so easy to use, and I have it on my phone, my tablet (which is wifi only but this works if my phone is anywhere nearby), and on my computer at work and at home. I can text, read texts, do all sorts of things on any of these devices and they are all in sync. I Love It! I've been using it for several weeks now and if it continues to work so smoothly, I am considering upgrading to the paid version for the extra goodies!

Great app. Having a wife that bragged about how her texts from iPhone users would go to her tablet, I loaded this app on my Samsung tablet android phone and Windows pc. Now I send and receive texts no matter what device I am on and the sender does not have to have an iPhone in order for it to sync. Great job, mighty text

I was having a syncing issue between my tablet and phone. I was willing to live with it, but the staff reached out to me to see how the app was working. I took a shot and replied with my issue. They were so responsive and were able to fix my issue within the same day....on a holiday!

Used for over a year just fine then they say message limit reached upgrade to pro. Jerks. UPDATE: THEY KEEP LOWERING THE LIMIT TO FORCE YOU TO BUY! I WOULD BUY IT BUT ABOUT 25% OF THE TIME IT DOESN'T WORK!

Works great. I have been using MT for over a yuear. There is only one thing that I do not like. It doesn't delete messages from my phone when I delete from the application which leaves my inbox on my phone an absolute mess! Rating would be higher if this issue could be resolved. Even a workaround would suffice.

Extremely useful when used with a tablet, or via the web site. My computing world is almost completely google now. I use a Android tablet and phone, and I also use a chromebook. With the addition of this app it all works seamlessly. My only gripe is that I can't make a one of payment for the pro version.

Not reliable on my Galaxy Tab 2014. If it didn't send a message once it would be unreliable, but I can never really expect it to send a message. That makes it pretty useless

Installed on phone, tablet and PC. Handy to have available. The only issue I have is the frequency of phone registration issues that occur from using phone's power saving. According to Support, app has to run in background with phone connected to wifi or mobile network. Very inconvenient. UPDATE - 12/11/2016 Phone registration issues have become incessant and I have decided to uninstall MightyText from my phone, tablet and PC. You have to be connected online 24/7. I am not.

I am really liking this app and the ability to be using my tablet without having to keep up with my phone also, just so I won't miss any text messages I may receive. I'm pleased that there is not lag time or delay in the receiving or sending, and it even allows you to send and receieve mms messages.

This seems like a good app - I do like it but for the price I'll just view text on my phone instead. I'd gladly pay a 1 time payment but this seems to be a theme with all apps that instead of a 1 time payment it recurring... To bad! Nice app but just not worth a recurring $60 fee

I love being able to send and receive text messages from my tablet and my desktop with my android devices. I would give more stars if it worked more consistently. Sometimes it does not sync properly with my phone. Nothing seems to resolve this problem when it occurs.

Slow, inconsistent performance, inconsistent contact linking, even after following recommendations several times. Needs search capability, no signature support, no widget. TRY "PULSE", *MUCH* BETTER, AND FAR CHEAPER. UPDATE: Several known contacts only display as phone number, no marking of unread messages, Needs lots of work. And they want $5/mo for this?? Lol TRY "PULSE"

Worked great free, so I went pro. Now I only receive some of my text messages. And people aren't receiving mine even though says phone sent. So I went back to using my phone for the most part. I will not be renewing.

Great in principle & very easy to use, but unfortunately not reliable. Sometimes just won't send messages from Hudl android tablet for no obvious reason (even when phone is only 1m away)

I used to use MySMS, then switched to TabletTalk. both were mostly kind of OK, but this ROCKS. I have been using it for a few weeks now, and just the basic version blows the other 2 apps out of the water. The features on basic are more abundant than any other I have tried, syncs extremely well, dont even really need my fone at times

This app does what it's supposed to. It's simple to use, no frills, keeps tablets and phone and computer all synced with text messages. You can even use your favorite text messaging program on your phone, and this program will access it. It's not the most beautiful interface, but it works perfectly

MightyText has been what I've been looking for for a long time. It works perfectly with my laptop and tablet. The only downside are that it doesn't sync all my contacts to my devices even though I paid for the expensive 'Pro' version.

works very well on my tablet connected to my cell. If I were to have any compolaints , it would be that the cost of pro is very high. and foir that I knock of 1 star.

Being able to read, send and search texts from my tablet and browser is awesome and this app does a great job of it with plenty of features. Sometimes it can take a while to update the messages and sometimes it can take a while to send them I'd say just make sure the message sends and be aware that it might hit a hangup. The issues with this app are small and easily manageable in my opinion and the features are awesome I love that there is a dark mode and that conversations can be searched also access through the browser is awesome because I am a linux user and I can still access the functionality of this app, very smart portable development from these folks. Bottom line this app is awesome expect some small quirks and enjoy! Thanks!❤️

This app is so awesome that it will make this review so lame. I have a super awesome phone but never really carry it around the house because I Love my tablet and this means I can text and everything from my tablet so my phone hangouts on the nightstand charging! LOVE IT!

I have enjoyed the "free" version of Mightytext and have been considering the Pro Version for $39.99/year - price last checked 24Oct16. Today 12Dec16 I received a holiday offer for 25% off on Pro, but when I went to buy the price was now $59.99/year; which even with 25% off is way too much. What is even worse is to consider future pricing behavior once an account is "locked" in and dropping the Pro Version becomes difficult.

Love love love this app! Wonderful not having to have my phone in one hand and tablet in the other, so to speak. Wish I'd found out about MightyText sooner

I don't need a notification when my phone call ends... Is there a way to turn this off? Just recently started...

No multiple message select feature to delete (or forward--if message forwarding was an included option). Also, can't delete a single message when it's a link, because delete pop-up is overtaken by browser. Upon returning to MightyText after closing of browser, pop-up has disappeared. Otherwise, thanks! I imagine keeping up with all the devices is a lot of work.

Very useful app. Great support team. Finally I am able to leave the phone in my pocket and get my texts and call notifications on my tablet that I keep on my desk. Had some initial difficulties with call notifications but the support team was able to fix it promptly. The free edition is so useful by itself but I will pay the small upgrade fee because of the support. Enhancement idea: Include timestamp with the text messages.

I feel that MightyText is a great app, I have it on all of my devices but I really don't like how it costs so much. I wish it was free or at least cheaper. It is too expensive for a messaging app.

I have MightyText on all of my devices. If my phone is in the office being charged and I am somewhere else , no problem. Grab the tablet and text away. Super fantastic! 'Love the scheduled text feature as well. If I'm up late at night, no need to annoy someone if a morning response if fine. Keep innovating MT!

The app work greatly but never synchronise properly with my phone but you still get charged for text usage by your network provider - text is not free.

I have been looking for a couple of months for a texting app to use on my Android Tablet. I was just about to give up when I came across MightyText. It is now installed on my phone and my Tablet, as well as my computer, and it works great. I can finally use my tablet for the things I need to use it for and not just for playing games. It imports your contacts, so no need to send invitations from chat apps that you don't even want to use. Would love to see more emoticons that work with this program. Thank you Devs!!

I use this to sync my phone with my Chromebook and it works very well. I'm able to text on my Chromebook which saves a lot of time. Every once in awhile this doesn't work but what I do is just reset the connection and then it works again.

Very spotty. Way too many messages never reach the app- expecially pics and videos. Sends duplicates of some texts. Really not happy with its performance, kinda sorry I actually paid for the upgrade.

I am really enjoying this app. I hope it continues. I had used a similar app and it quit working. This is an extremely useful app especially if your kid hijacks your phone ;-)

Works well for texting, but after installing it a week ago, I noticed my batteries were draining sooooooo fast it was ridiculous (on both my phone AND my tablet). Not worth it, unless you are able to constantly plug in somewhere to recharge. I am having to actually put it on the charger 2-3 times a day after installing this app. I'm going to keep an eye out to see if this stuff. If not I'll have no choice but to delete it. If it stops I will update my star rating.

like it a lot, but i wish it supported samsung's pop out view. I like to multitask while texting and this app needs a few lines of code to make it five star.

Seems to miss a lot of messages especially when group messaging. I would not recommend using this app for important messages because it has kind of screwed me before. Overall ok.

I think it is great and it solved a big issue on my tablet when I switched from Verizon to T Mobile. I would love to get the Pro, but 4.99 per mth. How do you justify. If you can, I will upgrade.
