Mighty Shopping List Free for Android
The scan function is very awkward and discourages it's use. Adding items through the scan function is not intuitive. I know the free version has ads but ads telling me my device maybe infected sucks. I would purchase the paid version if the scan function where more easier to use. Also the tutorial can't be accessed if you dismiss it when you first install the app.
The bar code scanning has always been unreliable at best, but now it has stopped functioning entirely. I have sent this information to the developer using both contact methods on their website, and they were both ignored. Dropping to one star for a major feature not working, and for lack of responsiveness about it.
I have relied on this program for a long time and now it's unusable. Claims there is an Internet error but my wi-fi is great. Really inconvenient when an update notches the program
Real Nice Shopping list But... This app has a new version and the creators have not issued a new User Guide practically the is no manual for the new version. Tke app is now difficult to navigate, creating new aisles do not show editing ilems. I have been trying to create a new aisle for over an hour an the app refuses to show the new aisle editing the item I am very frustrated with this app. Funny thing is that I am a computer literate person and I build high end gamming computers. What gives??
This app is fantastic. If you just want a list of stuff to cross off then you can use anything. But if you want to predict (and limit) the cost of your cart, then automatically track what you actually spent, and what you spent it on, then this app is is what you need. I can't even find anything else that HAS that feature. And I found it easy to set up and use once I figured it out. Thank you!! (PS: If you don't like gray, use a theme!)
This app is pretty good. I like how easy it is to add items to the grocery list from the menu and the ability to customize grocery items and aisles completely. I would really like improvements in the recipes and menu planner, however. First, I want to create tags for the recipes! It would also be nice to rate the recipes and have additional comment or note fields. Also, I really want it to be easier to add recipes to the meal plan. We should be able to search recipes by name or tag from the planner to add them. It would also be nice to be able to switch which week I'm viewing by swiping instead of 3 separate clicks. Additionally, I want to move a recipe (or several at once!) to another week if my plans change.
I LOVE THIS. It has all the features i need. THANK YOU!!! I do have a suggestion. Maybe your widget could actually show what is on the list instead of just the word: groceries. Not much of a widget if you ask me. But still 5 stars for being the only one with all these wonderful features.
10-3-17, Very disappointing. Inconsistent backup. Last phone upgrade I lost everything--account not found, so I recreated over past 2 yrs. New phone last week, so I backed it up THRU the App. Now my old info is there, but NOT the latest! I've emailed but got No Help, No Response.
It doesn't add the tax even though everything filled out correctly in settings. Wish it would save barcodes by store.
Perfect for accounting tool and use it every day but have not as of yet used it for groceries.
Just keeps telling me it's installing I don't know if it's working or not it's not showing up anywhere .
Please add some feature that after adding to cart and after summary the added item should not be deleted as some of them are used daily/frequently
What happened to all of the aisle selections? Installed on my new LG G6 and now the only aisle available is Other.
i wonder what the different of the (Features) or the way of using between Mighty Shopping List Free and Mighty Grocery Shopping List thank you or it is the same
Got everything one could need for s grocery list :)

Got everything one could need for s grocery list :)
Use this all the time for shopping lists.
I like it
Perfect
Best application out there for managing your grocery list. Tried them all. This is the clear winner. However, it deleted my list after upgrade and I can't restore. The backup and restore process has been very poor on previous versions - only real weakness, but it's a huge miss.
I thought this app was going to be perfect , but not... several issues. 1) although there are categories, the app can't figure out that "onions, sweet " should be in the veggie category. 2) if you press anywhere near the line item (vs just selecting the checkmark), the item moves to purchased or from purchased to need to buy. Very frustrating as I ended up not getting items I needed.
The program looks good. However, I wrote an email to their support on a specific problem 8 days ago and got no answer yet. Support is a critical part of any program!
'Take photo' function is useless. You not only have to sign in cloud to use this function, but when you do it, it won't work, because it always says 'can't view this photo'. And it never finds items by barcode.
App privacy settings ok. But, unable to configure a bar code reader that's not bad re: privacy settings.
Of all the grocery shopping applications I have tried, Mighty Grocery stands out as the most easy for me to use.
I had used Out of Milk but it often adjusting my sorting that I had based on my grocery store aisles. This does not! It's just what I wanted.
Help!! Enjoy using it but find it troublesome in exist. Hope you can add exit icon, need not to keep backspace to exit. The pantry list view can't separate its list. Everything is put into pantry including other stuff that doesn't belong to the fridge. The view list is all items. Please sub category the pantry too
I set scanner app as default and every time i want to scan an item it always asks me to pick my scanner program. Totally makes this app inconvenient and useless. Please for higher rating
This app gives you access to much more back-end settings than most grocery list apps, so a high level of customization is possible. So in theory it's great, but the execution and/or architecture is difficult to figure out, which makes it frustrating. Which is too bad, because I wanted to like it and buy it, but end of the day it was just too much for a simple grocery list app.
I switched to this app after Out of Milk was destroyed by its new owners. It works very well for me, but there is one major annoyance and one serious problem: MA) it rarely finds an item based on a scanned bar code, and I'm not talking, obscure, no-brand items; SP) sync works among multiple devices about 3 times out of 10 without performing a cloud reset. Before it was destroyed, OoM's sync success rate was about 80% for me. Fix the sync problem, and I'll add a star. Improve website management of data and I'll add another.
I can't sync it to my husband's phone only to cloud. I made catagories/aisles which show up but not listed when adding to item. Looking for different shopping app.
'Take photo' function is useless. You not only have to sign in cloud to use this function, but when you do it, it won't work, because it always says 'can't view this photo'. And it never finds items by barcode.
Negatives outweigh the positives. Confusing, harsh monochromatic (!) user interface straight from the Android Gingerbread era (that's 2011, folks). Not intuitive. The voice recognition feature shown in the demo video is now inexplicably buried in a menu, diminishing its convenience.
As some of your users expressed, I really wanted to give this app a chance, but in the end it was just too frustrating to get it to work for me. My customised aisles didn't sort right, my items didn't group correctly, when setting up items I had to input aisles twice, and then there's parent aisles (not customizable) and some other aisles - very confusing. I gave it shot and even read the user guide and it was still confusing. I spent hours on this app! Pick better beta testers!
This is a temp rating until I have time to test it. Kelly, these kinds of programs sync Up To & Down From the cloud. You'll need to both phones have the app & ensure both of you are accessing the *same* cloud account. A good rule of thumb is that as soon as *either* of you opens the app, hit Sync. This will pull Down the last saved version from the cloud onto your device. When you're ready to exit, hit sync again to save the latest version to Up to cloud. Google Sync & Mobile Cache for more info. :-)

I used to love this app but for the past few months it has been dropping items that I have previously added. It is terribly inconvenient to add an item to my list to find that has disappeared saved items and has to be reentered(price aisle etc)
