The Burn Removal Potential Calculator is a simplified analysis tool designed to help decision makers estimate the potential burn volume of spilled oil in the marine environment. The calculator takes into consideration the volume of oil discharged, number of burn teams, area contained within the fire boom, and burn duration. The output includes burn volume per day, length of fire boom usage per day, and the number of hours it would take to burn the discharged amount.
